Vin sat in the empty library, he feet propped up on the table in front of her. When she wasn't ordering students around or doing work, the only thing she ever really did was read. She was basically the librarian. And it was late, so most of the students were either getting ready for bed, or they were supposed to be getting ready for bed and weren't. If they were stubborn enough to come to the library in the middle of the night, she'd just send them back to their room.
But she could feel someone's eyes on her. And although she was too lazy to look up from her book to see who it was, she did feel the need to say something to them. She hated the feeling of being spied on when she was in the middle of a historical fiction book. Even though she'd read it over and over, she always loved to reread the ending until her eyes watered up from exhaustion.
Of course, she wouldn't tell anyone that she enjoyed anything like this. She was Vin, the silent emotionless member of the X-men. Not the sensitive X-man who loves historical fiction.
She finally stopped reading because the eyes on her began to annoy her. Although you'd never be able to tell that she was annoyed. Her face and tone were bother emotionless as she waited to hear from whoever was spying on her from behind.
"Spying on me, are you?"
