"Excuse me?"
He stated that with curiosity as Maru slowly backed out of the room. Before he could ask what she ment, she was gone in almost a literal flash. He didn't have time to wonder what that was all about when he heard another set of footsteps heading in his direction. He also picked up the smell of something resembling an animal. Could this be the Heather Maru spoke of? With a sigh, and a shake of his head, he returned to the book that was placed on the small table. He picked it up and opened it to where he had marked his place, continuing the read.

Heather was actually pacing now, trying to decide if she should risk going in to see who this person was... Everyone in the school knew she hated going to the hospital, for any reason. Hazel had to sedate her if she got injured just to look at the injury! So why would she want to enter the room? She sighed, stopping her pacing to stare intently and darkly at the doorway, scowling at it. Why did this person have to be in there? She wanted to know who they were! It wasn't often she came across a smell even remotely similar to her own. ((.... Heather has a hospital-phobia, as you can tell. ))

(nope, never occurred to me lol)
He had to admit the scent from Heather caused him to be concerned more than with a book. He heard her pacing just outside the door and couldn't help but wonder why she wasn't coming in. Giving it some thought, he began cleaning up around the room, doing his best to seem preoccupied with his work to worry about who was at the door.
"It's ok to come in, I promise I'm not one to bite"

Heather's ears perked upward when she heard him moving around, and then speak. She scowled, planting her hands on her hips. So he could hear or smell her to... "No way in hell." She snapped. And she was completely serious. "Besides, I'm not to worried about you biting me. You'd regret trying anyway..." Whatever she did to get him back though, she wasn't really sure. She leaned against the wall right next to the doorway, in sight if he was on the other side of the room. "You're attempt to look busy has failed miserably."

"So it has. Though your attempts at hiding your fear of a small room has failed as well."
His footsteps mad a soft thumping sound as he walked towards the door. As he approached the door, he couldn't help but smile at the young and thin feature that stood in the hall. She tried to look tough, but he knew that he was in the doorway of something that scared her. He gave a gentle bow at to the one who he must've assumed was Heather. Maru was right, she looked almost like he did, only a bit more animalistic. He couldn't help but admire her though, being one of the few humanoid mutants wondering the mansion and not caring if people considered her strangely.
"Hank McCoy. At your service."

Heather growled when he mentioned her fear of the 'small room', the sound deep in her throat. Of course he'd notice that.... After so many years of being a field agent, it was no one she'd grown to hate, and even fear hospitals. Finally seeing him though, she suddenly recognized him from the pictures in Professor Xavier's office. She'd never met him, obviously, never even known his name, just that she hadn't been the first like this at the school.
The small, animalistic part of her was instantly threatened by his larger stature. Sure, she wasn't was the small side to begin with, but he was much larger then her. "Heather... Heather Robinson." She paused, finally remembering what she had been after to begin with.

"It's nice to meet you Heather."
He knew he was more of an intimidating figure than she had figured. Though he showed her that he ment no harm, though willing to be defensive if she were to try anything. He couldn't help but feel more than just a little interested at another animal-like mutant in the mansion.
"So what brings you to this corner of the store."

"Mmmhm..." She fixed him a 'are you really this friendly?' look. She wasn't going to try anything as long as he didn't, but still, she couldn't help what the animal part of her thought about this man. When he spoke again, she sighed, rubbing the back of her head.
"Oh.... I'm hunting down my runaway students. You would think after that last camp out they'd learn to listen to me and actually show up when it's their turn for Danger Room." She paused. "I think it's about time me and Logan taught them another lesson. Maybe they'll listen to us then...." She sighed, before finally look at him. "What about you? I thought Hazel was the only doctor around here...." The look she fixed him with was very suspicious.

He gave a half smile when she said she was out hunting for runaway students. He couldn't help but smile at how he use to be that way until he learned how to handle the war room. He wasn't sure about the survival camp, having not been a part of it himself. But he was sure if Logan was involved, it was more complicated to deal with than the danger room. He was taken from his thoughts when Heather asked about him being in the infirmary as a doctor. He tried to hold back a small laugh since Maru asked him that same question.
"I'm simply here to continue the job that I had when I left. I'm still looking for the professor to talk to him about it. I'm sure Hazel would mind having one less infirmary to deal with."

Kaia sighed heavily as she sulked through the halls. She had used up the last of her antidotes that she carried with her daily, just in case someone was stupid enough to touch her. She often wore long sleeves or jackets to avoid this, but sometimes her peers just had to be imbeciles and touch her. She wished they wouldn’t. Not only was it annoying, but she had every reason to believe that if someone were to die, as everyone else who had touched her without medicine had, she would get into trouble for it.
Hazel, by now, was accustom to Kaia raiding her stash of antidotes, but you can imagine he surprise when she opened the door and found herself face to face with a tall and furry blue man. She wasn’t afraid of him, but she was very surprised and felt very stupid having interrupted him with Heather, who she didn’t know very well. “Oh…I’m sorry.” she mumbled wringing her gloved fingers together nervously. “Isn’t Hazel supposed to be here?”

He was so involved with his conversation and intrest in Heather as both a person and a mutant, that he couldn't help but be surprised when another visitor walked into the infirmary. He recognized her as the girl that was pushed rather rudely into his room earlier that day. He gave her a gentle smile and nodded his head, excusing himself from Heather for only moment as he addressed the newest visitor.
"Hazel is out for the moment. I'm taking over until she returns, and hoping to discuss matters of assistance in the medical department. Is there anything I can help you with?"
He couldn't help but smile at how young and nervous the girl seemed. It reminded him so much of Rogue when she first saw him, that he couldn't help but already feel a connection. He walked over to her and continued to smile, hoping she wouldn't be too afraid of him.

When she finally found it she pulled it up and held it before her, almost hitting him in the face with it and wincing in spite of this. “I’m sorry. I just need to get more antidotes for poison before the end of the day. Don’t worry though, I can wait. As long as I don’t touch anyone for a while it isn’t a desperate need.”
Some of her sheet music fell out of her bag and she cursed under her breath before crossing the room to sit in one of the cars used for visitors that stayed with a patient for …emotional support. Hoping to not interupt the X-men she pulled out one of her text books and began to scribble more notes upon the piano paper that fell from her bag, adding some notes and scratching out others. Some needed their piano to do this, but Kaia had learned to hear the music without her ears, something very unusual, but she liked to perfect it in her mind before allowing others the chance to hear it.

He couldn't help but smile at Kaia as she did her best to compose herself around them. He watched as she gathered up the things she dropped and headed into the waiting room. He looked to the doorway, then back to Heather, holding up a finger with a smile.
"Excuse me a moment would you?"
He walked to the room where Kaia was sitting, giving her a gentle smile as he did.
"Kaia, I wonder if I might have a word with you please. It's in regard to your powers."

She arched a brow when he approached her and craned her neck to see if Heather was still there. "If I were you I would finish up with her first. She's very...strange about this place. I don't know why, but what can you do?"
Kaia sighed when she mentioned her powers. "If you got sick, it isn't my fault. You probably just got food poisoning and that's the only kind of poison I have no control over. It's also the only kind that can get to me and it's not nice...or are you talking about something else? No one drank off my water bottle, did they?"

"Which is why I'm thankful Heather is on the outside, not the inside of this place."
He smiled a bit, but he couldn't help but feel a little curious as to what she was talking about. When she began to panick about someone drinking her water bottle, he couldn't help but smile and give a little laugh.
"Oh no, don't worry, my dear, nothing that. Actually I was wanting to know if I could have a sample of your blood. I would like to run some tests to see if I can find a way to allow you to control your powers so that you could willingly control this...poison you have."
