(read Power Up to understand)
Nobody knew the kind of power Cain had acquired, or how he was now able to control the elements in ways nobody thought possible. The machine that was left in japan had transformed him, made him more powerful, and if possible, more insane, cold, and heartless.
The ocean in front of the island was beginning to churn and reshape itself, but this time a lot more forcefully then before. Cain walked up from the water, his eyes empty and void of emotion. His lust for power was complete, and even those miles away could feel the force of it. Those with the power to see into one's mind would find nothing but darkness, the same darkness that now filled his eyes.
"Honey." he spoke, his voice cold and emotionless, "I'm home..."

Sky knew immediately that something had changed. When Cain came back to the island, she wondered where he had gone, but now she knew. He became more powerful and suddenly...she was scared. Hearing his voice call out to her was not the same voice that called out in love.
Hesitantly, Sky came into the entrance and she was huge! She was seven months pregnant and had to switch out her old clothes for new. Luckily the morning sickness was gone, but she ached all the time. Her back was constantly under pressure, because of the weight of the baby. As she looked into Cain's eyes, Sky's own eyes welled up in tears.
"You're different, Cain..." Sky didn't see his soul when she looked into his eyes. It was gone...the man she loved vanished when he gained this new found power.

"As are you, my love."
He smiled, walking up to her and touching her stomache. He could feel the child moving inside her, and leaned in and kissed her softly. He then touched her face, wiping away the tears that threatened to fall. He smiled and turned back towards the ocean.
"I can control the elements to their fullest now. Nothing has it's limits anymore."
His form blended to that of the rock under him, that cold smile still on his face. From out of the ground sprouted more figures of him, like trees slowly sprouting from the earth. Each one with it's heads lowered until they were completely out, then raising their heads in unison to look at Sky.
"Impressed?" said one behind her.

Sky's heart beat fast against her chest. Fear swelled up inside her, threatening to consume her whole. It was Cain...yet not Cain. Yes, he was more powerful...but it felt like a part of him was taken away in the process.
Not wanting to show these feelings, Sky gave a smile. Maybe Cain was still the same? Could she still love this new Cain? At this moment, a small nudge came from inside...as if the baby was reassuring her that this actually was the same man she fell in love with. All right, little one...she thought. I trust your judgment.
"Yes...it is very impressive, my love." Slowly, she wrapped her arms around him and down his back, pulling him closer to her. Electricity flowed through her from her skin against his. Well, at least that hadn't changed. "I was wondering where you disappeared off to...your daughter missed you." This time it was a real smile...one of pure joy. Somehow, the baby sensed Sky's emotions and moved. She could feel the baby mirroring her joy...she was impatient to see them, but she still needed more time to grow.

"I'm glad you approve."
He smiled as she hugged him, the other forms sinking back into the earth. He held her against him, his heart pounding with the feel of her body against his. He touched her stomache when she said their daughter missed him. He knelt down and kissed the belly where his child was moving, then kissed his way up to Sky's neck and ending at her lips.
"I have missed my two loves as well. Have you been well while I was away?"
He placed his hand against her stomache again, reassuring his daughter that he would be here once she was born. It wasn't long now, the signs were showing that his child would be born soon. He would want to see her and raise her as his own, so she would be able to take over after he had left this world. He looked around to see if Shadow had arrived, but she must've been busy. Another kiss to Sky and he gently touched her face.
"I must go now, my love. It is time I showed my true power to those that have bested me before. I promise you this, the next time you see Ian, it will be his head resting in a box, wrapped up just for you."
