Maximillion stared down at his desk. Well, to be more precise, he's staring at the photo album sitting on his desk. This was his power source. These photos were how he envisioned every single body he was supposed to have. He had a pretty high quality camera too, and having the top apartment in his complex gave him easy access to the roof, so he could easily just peer down and snap pictures of people and they'd never know. In the back were many newpaper clippings of important figures as well. Heroes. Villains. Politicians. Anyone, really.
His head jerked towards the door, as if expecting someone. He wasn't, of course, but he wondered if anyone had actually seen his secret ad yet. He couldn't really post his offering to spy on people in the average newspaper, but he had some connections to make sure that people who would want it, could take it. It was all just too perfect. Maximillion could make as much money as he wanted and no one would ever know how he did it. His large feet staggered over to the chair and he plopped himself down into it. From there, he just stared at the door, as if something told him someone could come in any time soon.

Nyx LOATHED being stuck in that school for so long. She tried to keep herself posted with the Yakuza at all times. Her family was still left in there. Well, whatever what she considered her close friends. She didn't even know where the hell her dearest father dragged his ass too. She was positively pissed. Hell, she was even pissier that her sent her to the dead beat shit of a school. She was dressed up so fondly as a cyber kei girl. She wore the bright red and black bracelets. She even fondly took pleasure in creating herself the look of the hard ass chick that doesn't take anything. She leaned against a nearby wall that was being ignored by other people. She heard a couple of words that her own folks were in town. What could she do but greet them? She glanced around the busy street of people. Smiling fakely to a couple who passed by her. She absently-mindly brought out a lollipop to get a taste of. She dipped her fedora low and hiding her deeply eye-lined eyes that matched her style and went of pondering.
She cringed slightly from the sound of her cellphone blaring Mint Royale's remix of Singing in the Rain. She sighed and brushed it off. Sorry, Mom... She leaned back and brought the cellphone to her ear.
"Moshi, Moshi..." She nodded briskly as a silky voice of a female went into her lips. Her accent seemed to dissolve into that of a normal american girl with a few black influences. She chuckled softly at the remark of the person and nodded along. Her eyes tracing the rooftops out of boredom as if she was searching for something to glance over. Her eyes slightly widen as she seemed to get terrible news. Sighing briefly, she mumbled a soft buddhist prayer in the name of her beloved friend. She couldn't believe the Yakuza were so disheveled after the whole destruction of Tokyo. She mumbled her soft goodbyes before getting up once again. Nyxiri wasn't pleased at all... Death... Death was becoming too frequent. She knew she was a mutant especially in that whole X-men bullshit she had to keep herself safe. Yet, her true loyalty always remained with the Yakuza... No matter what. Glancing around one last time, she decided to make herself across the street to stay posted near some old office or something. She needed more news... News, was what she was going to get.

Maximillion felt the strange aura coming from the window. He stood slowly, looking of at the clear glass behind him. Slowly, he slithered over to the window and peered downward at the crowd of people. None of them seemed interesting to him. All of them just a mass of insects scampering. All of them, that is, except one. There was one girl that was eyeing his roof. He didn't like it when people snooped around his home, especially where he took most of his photos. As he stared down at her, he realized that she could be where this feeling was coming from.
In a rush of thought, he grabbed his camera and swiftly took several pictures of the young Asian girl. She was beautiful, this was for sure, but something about her struck him as off. She was a different type of person, this he was certain. His eyes slowly trailed off the person and onto the photo of her. He took in every detail he could, getting the vision in his. He gave a light smirk and wanted to find out what made this girl so special. Without a thought, he stepped into his machine and shut the door. He focused all his energy on the woman, the machine doing all of the work for him. Hair lengthening, skin tone changing, his entire frame altering. Maximillion stepped into his machine, and the young asian woman stepped out, wearing the same outfit as her twin across the street. Slowly, the new woman's legs stretched out of the machine and over to the window, staring down at her new twin. A smirk spread across her lips as she watched the woman.

To be watched, made her feel like a caged animal up for display. She felt the eyes of someone on her. Yet, she couldn't pin-point it. She felt half urged to send her dogs to find the source and allow her to see it. She would've shrugged it off by glancing over to a long black haired asian man walking over to her greeting her with a smile and a big hug. Nyxiri felt herself blow up with joy. Finally, someone she could talk to her friend who brought her to this crazy place. She still couldn't shake off that feeling.
"Hey, Daichi-san!" She spoke with a slightly uplifted voice as the man leaned against the wall with her. He was handsome to look at save for the scar across his cheek. It could easily be overlooked. Yet, she couldn't find him to be that way to her. She found him to be her mentor, her god father as her father called him at this time. She earned a quick nudge in the head from the man and a slightly concerned glare.
"Oh, Hana-chan... You changed so much... Yet, I guess that is inevitable with your father missing." He said softly to her. She nodded briefly as she glanced up at the rooftops again. She felt her strange eyes narrow into complete slits when she realized a strange sight. She was too far away to look like an reflection from that far. She closed her eyes as she held her hand behind her back. She wanted to find out what the hell was happening with that. Something told her that it wouldn't be Anubis there in the window taking on her form... No, something was up and she only decided to send her little minions to check it out. The shadows were a friend to her and it will remain as such.
"Yeeaah... Have you found out anything?" She asked softly. She felt a bit sadden now at the thought. She was a strange person at times. Family and kin, she was ultimately concerned about. She blinked at her friend as he shook her head. She narrowed her eyes.
"Figured... It happens... Don't worry about it... Im always curious..." She says. She had to worry about to things now, finding about her damn father and learning who the hell took fancy in wearing her form. She allowed the shadow around the building to advocate for her. Find and learn, she was always useful like that... As proven by the professionals at that Mutant school.
