With each word Train spoke, the bigger and brighter her smile became. Her stomach was all a flutter, which really wasn't a normal occurrence for her! Finally though, he'd finished asking. Mairead leaned forward, pressing her lips against his for only a few moments before pulling back. Her smile had softened just a touch. "Yes."
There really wasn't any reason to say more then that. Not like she could come up with a witty response anyway with her stomach in the state it was in and her mind completely... well mind boggled! Had she ever expected him to ask that question? Maybe, had she ever put any thought into it? No. The thought had never even crossed her mind once!

*Train smiled at the kiss and the response. He was glad that the nervousness of the day had just flown away. She had said yes! Train leaned in for a second kiss. Staying there a little bit longer than the first then pulled away. He slipped the box away from Mairead, taking the ring out. He then took her left hand and placed it on her ring finger. This had to be the best thing to happen to him, in his entire life.*

Mairead couldn't hardly contain herself, her emotions quickly growing stronger and stronger as the seconds passed. If this were a dream, it was the best she'd ever had! He'd proposed! And to think, they'd met when she attacked him! Who would have thought they'd get to this point!
The second kiss seemed to help her control the emotions, though Train would instantly notice the heat radiating off her. It wasn't at a dangerous level yet, but it was obvious. She didn't usually 'light herself up', like this, her power usually concentrated on 'stars', but sometimes this would happen when she was completely overjoyed.
He'd taken charge after that, taking the ring box from her and putting the ring on her finger at once, not even giving her the chance to do it herself! But it was better that way, even just a simple act like that... "Is this why you've been so strange today?" She couldn't stop grinning.

*Train grinned back at Mairead, but gave a sheepish nod. He wasn't good about keeping secrets from Mairead.*
It was hard to try to.....plan this.....
It was cheep but it meant lots. This was where Mairead first "kidnapped" him to. Where she showed him what camping was and how to be a teenager. Without meting her he would still be very deprived and over protected.*

It was then that Mairead realized just where they were. She sat, her gaze going left, then right, her expression puzzled. A few moments passed, before that grin was bright again and she started laughing. She knew this spot. All to well. Years ago... After she'd attacked him and they were getting on a little better... She'd brought him here. They'd only been new friends at the time. But she could still see it.
Roasting marsh mellows, spending the night under the stars... Of course, his friend had come to ruin the camp out the next morning, but that night had really been the start of their friendship...
"I should have known... This place..." She looked back at him, her laughter under control, but was still grinning.

*Train smiled when Mairead realized where they were. It took him a while to actually find it again. Not to mansion he wasn't even supposed to be out of the school grounds. His mind then wondered, how would people react to the fact that shy Train had perposed to loud outgoing Mairead. Those who didn't know that they were together, would be rather shocked. But all that mattered was that she was happy, and with him...*

The longer they sat there, the more time that passed, the more giddy Mairead seemed to get. How was she supposed to control herself?! He’d just asked her to marry him! TRAIN HAD PROPOSED! Never, never in a million years had she thought she’d reach this day. Even worse? No one else had ever thought it either! They’d probably all expected her to end up in jail before she was even old enough to get married! It seemed though… The longer she spent with Train, the less she bullied, to a point where Shakaku was the villain on Campus.
Now? How could she continue bullying when she was so…. So happy?!
“I’m not dreaming, am I?” She still grinned, she knew it wasn’t a dream, but she wanted him to speak, to reassure herself. Mairead was weird like that, wanting to find reassurance in his voice at this moment. “I love you…” Well, she had to love him! She was going to marry him! She still wanted to say it though.
A few moments passed, Mairead with that giddy expression and mad fluttering in her stomach, when she suddenly realized something. She’d forgotten to breath! She took a deep breath, trying to call her nerves, but how could she?!

*Train couldn’t take his eyes off of the beauty in front of him, better known as Mairead. She was perfect. Her long wavy brown hair and dark eyes. She was perfect in every way. And she was his…his for the rest of their lives. How in the world did he score such a perfect and beautiful girl? A few years ago Train would have never thought that he would be in this position, or even have a girlfriend. He never would have imagined that any girl would fall for a guy like him.*
No Mairead….Your not dreaming.
*A smile came to his face when he heard her say that she loved him. He loved those words coming out of her mouth. He kissed her perfect lips and smiled at her.*
I love you too Mairead…
*Train gazed into her eyes. He didn’t want time to move on. He wanted to stay here for ever. Just Mairead and him, not to be separated. But now, with that ring, they don’t have to be. Just him and her, together, forever. All thought of what others would think had vanished. All he cared about was him and her. She had helped him come out of his shell. Even though he still was in it, just it had cracked more. She had made progress where others couldn’t have.*
