"They don't hate you, you know. Just annoyed. You may even be hearing from one of them pretty soon." That was all Crystal shared though, as she leaned back in the chair she was on, the one she had moved earlier, stretching her head back and staring at the monitor upside down. "Nothing is going to happen for a few minutes, how boring..." She suddenly seemed to freeze, before speaking again. "Parker just got to the school. He's already with Rose...."

::he turned and focused his attention on her. She seemed to be useful in more ways than he can imagine. Perhaps he wouldn't tell Shadow that the device had been made just yet. Crystal continued to talk about the Exiles, and he couldn't help the growing interest when she mentioned that a member of the exiles might be paying him a visit soon. When she spoke of nothing happening at the moment, he turned and looked to the screen, then back to her when she mentioned Parker. He smiled a little at this::
And so, the events grow more interesting.

Crystal just stared upside down at the screen several more moments, since she didn't have much else to do. When Apocalypse spoke again she glanced out of the corner of her eyes at him, stared for a moment, before returning her gaze to the screen. "They'll get even more interesting soon." She paused, her emotionless gaze going even more blank, almost as if she was in a dream, unconscious to what she said or what went on around her. "The time will come when enemies must meet, but not in battle or bloodshed. The enemy to all will force a temporary truce to be formed, and there will be tolerance. You will find followers you did not know still existed, and you will find common ground with the least likely of people...."

::he watched as she spoke about followers and common ground. He couldn't help but grow more curious about what was happening around him. First the poison from the MRF, then the sentinels, and now this. He turned towards the screen and watched as more of the dots that represented the sentinels began to arise slowly but surely::
Hmm...a prophecy?

"Not really. It's just fun to say things in a poetic way. Get's a more interesting response." She didn't even look at Apocalypse as she spoke, just stared blankly at the screen, no activity going on yet. Suddenly though she pointed to where a new green dot had entered the screen. "I told you Freya wouldn't be far behind, but she's taking her time... I'm not to certain why. Still can't read thoughts. How blasted annoying. Things would make so much more sense if I could." The last part wasn't really addressed to Apocalypse, mainly just talking to herself.

::he smiled a little when she mentioned speaking of things in a poetic way. She may not be able to read minds, but with the information she had stored in her mind, it seemed to allow her to notice events before they seemed to happen. When she pointed out Freya, he looked over to where the new green dot was on the screen. It seems things will start increasing in New York with the sentinels. He looked back to Crystal when she cursed herself for not reading minds, his hands clasped behind his back::
Not all mutants have the same ability, child. You are still unique in many ways.

Finally, Crystal shrugged. She lifted her head back up, and seemed to have a sudden fixation on her hand, examining each fingernail. "I know. But I'm sure you can understand why it would be annoying. For examine, I could tell you exactly how someone committed suicide, but unless they verbally said why they were doing it, I could never tell someone why. It's frustrating. I can rattle off the answer to anything, but most the time I don't even know what it even means, I just know it. Like knowing the answers but not knowing the definitions."

indeed. You most certainly are a valuable little girl, Crystal.
::he stood there in silence for a moment, letting his own thoughts move about in their own fashion. He thought of the words she said, knowing how frustrating it must be to know the answers to questions and yet not know the meaning of them. Perhaps he could work out a small arrangement with her to allow that problem to be solved::
Hmm...perhaps handing you over to the Nightmares wouldn't be in my best interest after all. You seem to be very useful and in this case, very informative.
::he turned and looked to her::
You say you know the answers to things, yet not know the meaning of them. I can help you with that, my dear

Crystal blinked, as if surprised he'd offer to help with understand things, though the surprise didn't last long. After only a moment she nodded. "Okay." She paused for a moment, as if thinking. "Though it mostly would just be studying a lot until I can understand the things." She paused once more, turning her attention back to the screen. "You might want to erase that message too, in case it is accidentally sent."

indeed I should.
::punching in a few keys, the message that was suppose to be sent to Shadow was erased. He knew sooner or later Shadow would come to check up on his progress, but he couldn't help but smirk at the thought that she probably thought that it was a delicate operation. He chuckled, then typed in more information onto the computer. Within seconds, millions of icons that resembled files appeared on the screen. He stepped away from the computer, then turned and looked to Crystal. He extended an arm towards the screen::
This has all the information from past to present. I invite you to learn all that you need from them.

"Okay. Books would be more fun though." With a sigh Crystal shifted her position in the chair so she could stare at the screen normally. After a moment she stared down at the controls, her mind seeming to process how it worked before opening the first, top right file. She almost seemed to speed read through it, only having to take a few moments to read everything inside the file. At which point she would stop, seem to process the information and mentally 'create' an identical file in her own mind to store all the information. Crystal's mind worked very much like a filing cabinet, she herself having to 'organize' the information so she could access it quickly. When she finished that she moved on to the next file, repeating the whole process over again, then the next, and the next.
It wasn't long when her mind finally decided that was enough information for one day, and quite literally went to sleep. Her own eyes drooped a little, before shutting, her head lowering onto the back of the chair and tilting slightly as she fell asleep. It would probably strike most people as strange, but it was completely logical when you took her age into account. After all, she wouldn't even be in Junior high yet if she were in school.

::he watched as she processed file after file, going through a large amount before she fell asleep. He couldn't help but smile as he turned back towards the monitor. A few keys pressed and the screen went back to the main map of the world, focusing on New York like it was before. He punched in a few more keys, causing the chair Crystal had fallen asleep in to turn into a small bed for her to rest. He looked once again to her, then back to the screen, speaking mostly to himself::
Times are changing it seems...perhaps it's time to do a few changes as well.

Crystal didn't stir while she slept, well other then her curling up in to a ball on her side. Mentally though, her mind was still processing everything. It ran at 110%, organizing everything. It was almost like spring cleaning of sorts. Putting something somewhere, then deciding that it would be better some where else, of course it wouldn't be long until it would be moved yet again. She only faintly heard, or registered what Apocalypse muttered to himself, though it wasn't a question so she quickly decided it wasn't important and didn't require her attention...
