Crystal just continued to watch for several moments, before seeming to grow bored with it. She was soon wandering the lab, examining all the strange alien technology. Finally though she stopped at one of the machines, gazing at it curiously with her head slightly tilted to the side. "A lot of this stuff hasn't been used in a while." She paused for a moment. "What does this one do? I mean, I can explain how it works, but I don't understand what it means. That's sort of the disadvantage to knowing stuff. Just because you know the answer doesn't mean you actually understand it." It was almost like she was talking to a friend. There was no hesitation in her voice, no resistance. Actually, she seemed quite content, as if knowing no harm would come to her, so why even bother to worry about it?

::he continued to work on the device, putting together calculations and means of making it work. As Crystal wandered around, he couldn't help but notice that she was standing next to the machine that allowed him to change mutants into his willing followers. Since telling her a false story was out of the question, he decided to be honest::
That machine allows me to bring mutants who are useful to me into my cause.

"So rewriting their minds basically...." She didn't seem all that worried about it. Finally though she seemed to lose interest in it as well, wandering back to where Apocalypse was standing. She pushed the chair over to the monitor to watch, turning it so it's back was against the steel. She hopped into the chair, her arms folded and resting on the top of the back as she watched. It wasn't that she'd regained her interest in watching, there just wasn't anything to do.

::he couldn't help a small chuckle that came with her response::
Yes, I suppose that's what it does. However it also has the ability to increase one's power to heights they never knew.
::he didn't move or flinch when she came back over and sat beside him. But once he was done, the device which he had made small enough to fit behind her ear, was ready to be tested. He punched in a few more cease, and a small assembly unit began putting it together. He turned and watched as he creation was being made::
This device should help you remain concious while giving the answers you're asked.

"Hm.... Okay." She'd really lost interest in the machine. She just watched him finish the device he was designing, then stare at the assembly line like machine begin to make it. "It's not just from information overloads that make me faint, you know. I can't breath when giving an answer." It was true. Which was why she always tried to get a lung full of air before a question was finished being said.

I see, then we will have to make sure that is not a problem as well.
::he once again turned towards the monitor, showing that the completion progress was at 98%. He smiled at how fast his computer works, but with a few more movements of his fingers along the keyboard, he managed to type more information into the computer. The machine paused for only a few moments, as if processing the information, then continued to make the device::

"How would you fix it though?" She crossed her legs indian style, rocking from side to side in the chair as if unable to sit still. She continued to watch the assembly of the device, blinking when it stopped to process what ever Apocalypse had entered, before continuing. She didn't say anything for a moment, just watched, until finally turning her gaze to stare up at Apocalypse, her face bare of all emotion. "Why aren't you worried that I'll try and escape? Everyone else you've taken you've sedated, or something." It was obvious that even with her infinite knowledge, if it was something from someone's thoughts she was left in the dark.

::he chuckled::
Child, this machine can make any problems vanish when I need them be. Unless you wish to continue fainting and being out of breath.
::He looked to her when he said that, and when she asked about why he hadn't done anything to restrain her, he couldn't help but laugh::
Dear girl, if you wanted to escape you would've done so already. However, unless you are capable of flight or can swim great distances without fatigue, I don't see how you would escape this island.

"No, I don't want to keep fainting. It gives me headaches after." She paused, not at all seeming surprised by his answer, but that was expected. She hadn't shown much of any emotion since arriving, which could point to her not having any and not just restraining them. "I suppose that's true. Are you going to brainwash me then?" Crystal didn't seem worried about it, but she did want to know the answer. Personally she saw no point in brainwashing her like the others, since her power physically and mentally forced her to always answer the questions with out holding anything back.

Then I'm sure that this will help keep the situation under control.
::the machine finished it's worka nd the device was now ready. It look small enough to fit on the tip of a finger, and Apocalypse was very careful with picking it up as he walked over to Crystal. He gently held it out to her, knowing that it was something that could help her out, and him as well::
I doubt that you need any brainwashing, child, unless you require me to do so. Just put this device behind your ear. There will be some momentary discomfort, but afterwards you will not have to worry about fainting or breathlessness again

Crystal silently watched as Apocalypse went to retrieve the device, still slowing no interest in it. But at the same time she was wondering if it would work. It was more then probable that it would, this was alien technology after all. And this was Apocalypse, everything he did was perfect, no mistakes. She stared at the device as it was offered to her, before tentatively reaching out to take it and examine it further while he spoke. "I don't feel discomfort..." It wasn't exactly true. She could feel it, but it was very dull to her senses. She lightly brushed her hair over her shoulder to uncover her ear. A moments pause, and she reached up to place the device right where he'd told her to. There was that dull sensation that he had spoken about, though it didn't last long.

you don't feel discomfort because you have yet to attatch it.
::he smiled as she placed the device to her ear. The dull sensation he spoke of was the device attatching itsels to the side of her head, and working in small nanobites into her brain. The nanobites stimulated her brain and allowed it to block out the need to breath when giving information, as well as restraining any amount of fatigue that came with her power. If any were to see her, she'd be a normal mutant, but her breathlessness and fatigue when giving information was now voided. Apocalypse turned and took a few steps away, then turned and faced her, placing his hands behind his back::
Now child, for the test. Tell me everything you know about the brotherhood, to the time it was made, to my rise to power. Don't spare the details.

Crystal just shrugged softly, folding her legs under her Indian style, her blank stare focused on Apocalypse. When the request was said, she closed her eyes, if only out of habit. Her mind seemed to gather the information in only a moment, before her lips began to move quickly to keep up. Just as he'd specified, she went down to every last detail, even if it seemed completely irrelevant, from the exact moments in time the events happened, to complete profiles of the members during the time.

::he couldn't help the smile growing on his face as she began to tell him the details of history he had already known. He had looked at the files many times to see who his predecessors were, but to hear them come from Crystal, without her needing the use of breath or waivering to a point where she was about to faint proved that the device indeed worked. He smiled at what he could use her for and the information that could be obtained from her. He could crush his enemies like grapes and they wouldn't even know how he found them out. He chuckled at the thought::
Perfect...

Crystal just rambled on and on until she heard him speak, at which time she tightly closed her lips together, taking a moment to stop the information flow. She hadn't needed to stop to breath, and she hadn't gotten light headed. Both were good signs, but she wondered if she'd still get headaches. Probably, after all, when people studied they got headaches, and this was very much like studying to her. "Was that enough or would you like me to keep going...?"
