((This was the closet thing to a forest outside of da city.))
*Ororo yawned once she had successfully set up her tent. She crawled into it and laid out her bed, tempted to curl up into in and fall asleep, but she decided against it, knowing that while everyone else was busy getting firewood and setting up their tents she would have to make dinner.*
*Once out of her own tent she gazed around the small campground that was starting to form, wondering where exactly everyone else was. The air was getting cold and her nose began to run so she put on her black leather jacket to help keep warm, hoping that tonight wouldn't be cold enough that it would basically force her to mess with the weather.*
*She sighed and walked forward to find what she needed to make the meal.*

::Logan had just finished setting up his tent when he heard the sound of a zipper opening up. He turned and saw Storm coming out of her tent. He put down the last of the pegs needed for his tent, then climbed into it. Inside the tent, he unrolled his sleeping bag then sat down ontop of it. He reached into his jacket pocket, then pulled out his matches and box of cigars. He lit a match and lit up his cigar, then put the match out and tossed it out of his tent before closing the zipper up. He kept the flaps open to let the smoke out, then laid down onto his sleeping bag and stared up at the "ceiling" of his tent::

*Storm yawned as she threw what little kindling they had into a quick makeshift fire pit, and then she simply gazed down at it thoughtfully. Starting a fire wasn’t exactly a fun thing to do. She could always hunt Logan down and steal his matches or lighter, whatever it was that he was using to light his cigars. No, she wasn’t sure if he was done getting himself ready for the night.*
*It was then that she got a brilliant idea. True, it would be very unexpected, but it would light the fire. Storm pulled her powers slightly and in less than a blink of an eye a mighty tremor shook the ground as a long crack of lightning split the sky and struck the ground right before her, successfully driving the wood deeper into the ground and lighting it.*
*She smiled and nearly laughed at this. Everyone would probably be surprised at the sudden burst of lightening or think that Storm was livid at something, but Ororo really couldn’t believe that she hadn’t thought of starting a fire like that ever before now.*

::he was lost in thought as he stared up from his tent. He couldn't beleive that Xavier had a son he told nobody about. Did he even know himself? He continued to think about it as the light from his cigar began to burn down with or without his help. His thoughts wandered to Xavier and what David would look like. He didn't really get a good glimpse at the picture since his head collided with Storms.
He didn't really notice the ground trembling until it started to get worse. He blinked at the flash of light and then sat up quickly when the lightening struck the ground. He sat up so quick that his cigar fell out of his mouth and into his lap. He gave a small shout and tossed the cigar out of his tent. He quickly got out and dusted off the ashes from his lap before turning to find his cigar again. When he found it, he picked it up and dusted it off, putting it back into his mouth. He walked over to see that Storm was the cause of the surprise he got. He looked at the fire and tossed his cigar into it::
You know, asking me would've been easier

*Storm heard something behind her and she saw Logan throwing his cigar from his tent and then brushing the ashes off of his laugh. She bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing and turned back to the fire, which was now roaring. She placed a small grill over the flames and placed a small pot of chili over it. Within the jet’s oven she had a few batches of her homemade cornbread cooking. No body really knew that Storm was actually a very good cook, but she didn’t really like to brag about it.*
*She laughed full heartedly when Logan approached her and threw his cigar into the flames.* “I really don’t think it would have been. Besides, I got to see you tripping all over yourself. It was well worth it.” *She laughed before knealing in front of the fire to be sure that the pot of chili was in its correct place.*

Glad you enjoyed it
::he said with his usual smirk. He sniffed the air and noticed that something smelled really good. He sat down in the dirt next to storm, crossing his legs. He places his hands out over the fire to warm them up. He looked to the pot, then watched Storm as she inspected the fire and the food::
So what's cooking?

*She smiled and shook her head, content with the food before falling back onto the ground to be sitting next to Logan. She pulled her jacket tighter around her in an attempt to keep warmer, but it wasn’t really any used. Storm yawned and covered her mouth with her hand before answering Logan.*
“On the fire would be chili and in the jet would be cornbread. Both from scratch, but the chili is a bit spicy if you aren’t into that kind of thing. You can just eat the corn bread if that’s the case.” *She caught Logan’s eye and smiled slightly before turning back to the fire and placing the lid on the pot to keep the moisture inside, since it had started boiling.*

::he saw that Storm was doing her best to keep warm, and took off his jacket and placed it around her shoulders to help. When she mentioned chilli and cornbread, he couldn't help but smile. He hadn't had chilli in a long time, and the thought of it, along with the smell, was making him hungry. He caught her eyes when she looked at him, and smiled as he looked back to the fire::
I can get the cornbread if you want.

*Storm was a bit surprised when she felt Logan place his jacket on her shoulders, but she looked back at him and smiled before pulling it more tightly around her shoulders.* “Thanks.” *She yawned again and shook her head at Logan’s offer to retrieve the cornbread.* “I put it in the oven about ten minutes ago. It still has a good twenty minutes left on it until it’s going to be done. It’s going to be a little while before dinner is ready. You can go back into your tent to wait if you want.” *Though she had made the offer, for some reason Storm didn’t want Logan to go back into his tent. It was a bit strange.*

::he smiled when she thanked him and nodded his head when she explained that dinner wasn't exactly ready. When she offered for him to go back to his tent, he couldn't help but feel he needed to stay. He didn't want to leave Storm out by herself, whether or not the other X-Men were around. He shrugged and smiled, deciding it was best to stay outside::
No thanks, don't want to end up burning myself

*She smirked at this and shook her head.* “You know if you stopped smoking you probably wouldn’t have to worry about burning yourself, now would you?” *Storm raised a brow at him as she locked her chocolate eyes with his in a questioning look. It was then that she noticed something…strange. Was she flirting with Logan? No, that was just weird, she couldn’t flirt with him. She gave him a final small smile before turning back towards the fire, mentally kicking herself. God that was stupid.*

::he gave a small inward laugh when she commented on his smoking habits. When they locked eyes, he couldn't help but smile. He was noticing something different about her attitude, or was it just her in general. Wait, did she just begin flirting with him? No, not Storm. He knew they were friends and couldn't be anything more if they tried::
Haven't had a good reason to quit I guess

*Storm bit her lip and continued to gaze down at the fire, still feeling like a fool for having engaged in even a second of flirting with Logan. Even if there were a chance at there being something she knew that it wouldn’t last and would be nothing more than a fling, for Logan clearly still wasn’t over Jean. If anything Storm would be a rebound so she thought it would be best to just leave it alone and never do that again.* “What would be a good reason?” *She asked curiously, gazing at the flames dancing under the pot of chili.*

I don't know, never really had one
::he stared at the fire, but caught a glimpse of Storm biting her lip. What was going on with her? She had been acting strange towards him ever since he returned to the mansion. He stared at the fire as he watched the flames heating up the pot. As he thought about what he said, he couldn't help but see that it was true. He never did have a reason to quit smoking cigars. To him it was just another form of simple enjoyment::

*She nodded slightly, then she was suddenly curious to see what exactly Logan found to be so great in cigars.*
"Do you have one?"
*She asked casually, looking back at him, seeming a whole lot more like herself than she had only a few seconds ago when she caught herself flirting with him. She really just hoped that Logan hadn't noticed it as well.*
