Powers Rules - In the case of class five mutants, please scroll down. We have all the rules and guidelines below.
- You can NOT develop new powers with out an admin's permission. So, if it isn't listed when you are accepted, you can't develop the power unless you contact the admin. The development won't always be accepted, please keep that in mind.
- If you have more than one power(3 limit), ALL your powers will be much weaker than they would if you only had one. For example, let’s say someone who can only control water, and someone who can control all the elements face off. The elementalist has a high chance of losing to the Aquakinetic, because their power is naturally stronger, and if you use their element, they can use it against you. Think of it as instruments, you can learn to play as many as you want, but the person that focuses on one will always outshine you.
- Just because you have a strong power, doesn't mean you can beat anyone. 'There's always a bigger fish", meaning there will always be someone that can squash you like a bug, even if they are 'weaker' then you. All powers have at least one weakness.
- It takes time to master a power. This means, newly discovered mutants have no idea what they are doing, while someone who's spent years as one will be exploring the boundaries of their power. You need to work at something to be good at it. Please keep that in mind when making/roleplaying.
- Just a reminder, all powers have their limits. Either exhaustion, or physical harm coming to you, you can't keep fighting forever. Just like in real life, if you run a mile, you'll be tired (Okay, some people won't because they have a higher endurance, but you get the picture!). The same applies to powers. You can build up your endurance, but it takes hard work, and training.
More can, and will be added with little to no warning!

Restrictions
Over the life of our lovely board we've had some pretty interesting powers. And now, we have put together a list of the big no-nos, so people don't make the same mistakes as others in the past. Some of the powers can be removed later on, and are only on this list because we already have multiple people with that power. - Not quite a restriction, but some powers will not be allowed to be combined with others. An admin or mod will contact you if the combination isn't allowed.
- Blood control - This one is a bit iffy. We allow people to control their own, but not others.
- Healing - Long debated, but we finally decided to allow only a handful. At the moment, we already have our limit. So temporarily banned.
- Power mimicry - It's so easily overpowered, we have banned it all together.
- Power absorption - Unless it's canon, we won't allow it. It's far to easy to overpower. Characters already with this ability are immune to this rule.
- Magic - There are to many factors to consider to allow magic, so it's completely banned.
- Reality Warping - There are so many things this power could do, we have just banned it all together, like Magic.
More will be added or removed later on.

Omegas
Alright, as everyone knows, we have several class five's running around the board, and, recently, we've hinted at how someone can go about MAKING one. Well, after much deliberation, we've finally decided exactly what it takes to accomplish said feat. But first! An up to date list of the class fives (and higher) running around at this moment.
Now! List aside, it's time to explain how to apply for an Omega!
- First? Be a member of the board for at least half a year (6 months) with 400 posts on a SINGLE character.
- Second? Talk to the head admin. Tell them what you want, and they will tell you if an Omega would be allowed right now.
- If an Omega is allowed at the time, make a profile. DO NOT POST IT, pm it to each individual staff member. They will then give you their seal of approval or disapproval. All must approve, and you are only allowed to resend it TWICE before you have to start from scratch.
FYI - Omegas have only ONE POWER, that they are unlimited in (For example, Freya- her power is heat. She doesn't have any secondary powers, purely heat, and everything involved with it.), and they have ONE FLAW/DRAWBACK to their power, something that keeps them from using their full power all the time. THEY MUST HAVE ONE!)
- If the application is accepted, the next step is an 800(or more) word rp sample AS the character, once again sent to all staff members, no rewrites allowed. All must approve, obviously. And, as a warning, we will be very, very strict about these samples, so remember to spell check.
- IF you make it to this point, congratulations! You can make your Omega!
To keep people from making an Omega and abandoning them/remaking them when you get sick of them, we have several consequences for such acts. If you want to completely remake an Omega, you will need an additional 400 posts(800 if you count the 400 needed to even make an Omega).
