As everyone should be aware, Chelsea recently put me permanently in charge of this forum, but when she did so, she also gave me the option to close it down.

After some careful thinking, I've decided it would be best if I closed down Eternal Night. It would remain online purely for the memories we all have here.

I really did want to keep this place alive, but I think it's time to let Eternal Night rest. It's grown stagnate over the past few months, and I'm not the kind of admin who can bring people in. I'll be putting the board into maintenance mode at the end of the week. Please be sure to save any character profiles and threads you may want for personal use.

It's been great to be a part of this site. I've learned so much from it. I hope you all have learned from it as well.

If we kill the board.....id like one request to wright the death of sam and alex and there meeting ive been planing it for 3 years

We're not killing the board, I'm going to put it in a hibernation like mode....

Your characters are yours to do with as you please. But just because the board is closing down, doesn't mean you can't continues your roleplays with friends via skype, email, texts, ect. You could even write a short story about your characters.

If you would like to write their deaths though... You have until Saturday to do so on this forum, then I'll be putting it into maintenance mode.

As for waiting until the end of the month, that would just be rude of me to do to a new member.... I've been planning this for a few weeks now, and I was just getting myself into the right frame of mind for the backlash I knew would happen.

I understand thanks Buffy you know i was thinking after we talked today anyway its hard for me to come up with post anyways due to the fact i work 40 hours as much as i love rping and love this board we as members all have jobs and even on are days off we are so tired its hard to come on hear. Im glade that this board was hear and i loved it helped me threw a hard times and i ment some amazing people
