Mikey skidded to a stop as he approached his destination and if he hadn't happened to be on his motorcycle he would have been most likely jumping up and down in excitement, yes he was that excited. Why was he so excited you ask well it just so happened that a carnival had come to central park, and lets just say Mikey loved carnivals or anything that could help him expend his access amount of energy.
Quickly climbing off his bike Mikey was immediately taken over by all the noise that always accompanied events like this, and he loved every bit of it. Walking to where the ticket booth was located Mikey payed for twenty bucks worth of tickets and headed into the mass of noise to find out what he wanted to do first since there was so much to do.
Now since Mikey had the attention span of a three year old on a sugar high he wasn't exactly paying attention to where he was going and it wasn't long before he ran into someone, literally...

"Yae should watch where yer goin'!" Rowan chastized the boy as his eyes flashed over with cat like pupils and irises. He couldn't help instinctively pushing him away a bit. Sure he was used to their own patrons coming up to him asking for pictures 'with the carnie'... But a man could only deal with so much. And this wasn't even his show! What he had come to see was why their ticket sales had been dropping. And while this little carnival seemed to be nothing but a simple hat trick...it was enough to encourage the people of New York City from venturing out into the 'wilds' to see their shows.
Rowan paid the kid little attention after he sent him along his way, more like he had just bounced off of him than anything else. His attention was on this meager carnival, which for New York...really wasn't too meager. But where were the shows and attractions? Rides and games could only do so much couldn't they? But it seemed that the city bustled in the carnival just as much as they did in the mass of cars on the streets and people on the sidewalks.

Kristy liked to spend a lot of time in the park that was normal for her but latly there had been an odd smell of the carnival there and she didn’t like it. It smelled to much of popcorn and other crap that youd fine there. Kristy couldn’t stay locked inside forever and she didn’t know why in the middle of the day she got the idea to check it out maybe part of her didn’t want to be scared of it, or wanted to claim her park back. She sat over by the ticket booth as a black cat her green eyes watching everyone run back and forth there where so many people that everyone in awhile Kristy would jump scared of some body who yelled or a little kid that would cry to his mom because they drooped there ice cream. Why did people like this kind of stuff it was load smelly and cost money witch Kristy never had...then again cats dont need money. She slowly made her way to the ticket booth her black fur over her little kitten body on end as she sniffed it yes she wasn't going to buy a ticket but she might as well check it out.

Mikey stumbled back a couple of feet when the person he had ran into pushed him away. Looking up at the person Mikey was about to come up with, in his mind, a witty comeback to say to the guy before he was distracted by the dudes eyes. While he didn't make direct eye contact, which was good in Mikey's case; he really should wear is sunglasses more often, Mikey saw the cat like pupils and his mind instantly shouted MUTANT! Although again before he could say anything he was already disappearing into the crowd.
“Hey, wait” Mikey called but was to late since the guy was already gone. Running into the crowd Mikey tried to see if he could find the cat eye guy, hey that rhymed! Anyways as he was looking for the guy he found himself back at the ticket place and saw a small black kitten about to be trampled by some five year olds. Making his way over he quickly scooped up the kitten before it could become kitty roadkill.
