Okay! So, one thing we've really been lacking on this board is.... Families. You guys probably don't know what I mean yet. Let me explain. On a lot of other boards, they promote family connections, siblings, parents, cousins, etc. And, coincidentally, X-men bring in new, interesting concepts to families. You will have families that are purely mutants, some that are mixed, some with only one mutant child, etc. ANYWAY! I'm not making this to spend talking about that exactly. What I am trying to get at, is I really want to give more people the option of PLAYING family!
So, basically, I want to make a list. Of families mutant families(though we may have a few human), with a child or parent already on the board so that people can play your siblings and parents! With our more school based focus, this will give new members options for characters. Say, Kate(random name, no one in particular), wants to make a student. She can look at the Open Canon list, and actually see if there are any characters running around with a student aged sibling! I don't know, I just really like the idea of being able to look at a list when making a new character and asking where I could fit him/her in.
So, I need suggestions. If you have several siblings/parents/cousins you want to open, please suggest them here so we can add them to the list! Parents will need names, siblings you can leave nameless so anyone wanting to claim them can actually chose the name! Just remember to include the age.
Remember, this is to promote siblings and cousins mostly. Especially at the school! And I believe this will give people more drive to make students!
P.S. So we are all clear these are ORIGINAL canons. That means these aren't related to Marvel canons. These are specifically for Original characters!

Erm well I'll go first  my girl nix has a father ,(she doesnt know him yet), and a aunt and uncle who have had twins After she ran away so... Father - James ___ Green - mutant - power unknown - 43 Uncle - Killn ___ Grace - human - 49 Aunt - Vipe ___ Grace - human - 47 Cousin - ___ ___ Grace - mutant - powers unknown - 14 Cousin - ___ ___ Grace - mutant - powers unknown - 14 The ___(spaces) are names other people can fill in or make up if they want to and I left all the powers open to anything, this is Nix here in a link for anyone for wants info on her. I also known her aunt and uncle have odd names so people can change those if they Like please tell me if you do so I can edit her bio to fit |

Cousin: ___ Wolfe (female human, age 15)
Cousin: ___ Wolfe (sister of above and mutant, age 18)
Cousin: ___ Shepard (male human, age 17)
Night doesn't have any direct family left since his parents died at a very young age in an accident before they could have anymore children. The cousins would know about this and that Night Wolf have been out of contact with the rest of his family. The mutant Wolfe cousin would have an animal mutant like Night that should be similar to a dog, wolf, or fox. She may or may not have another power and everything else about her is for you to figure out. Just talk to me if you want to use one, I don't really care if you do.
Also, he ___ is for you to name them whatever you want.

Just a reminder, these are people you want rped. Family you know your character would actually associate with, play some role in their day to day life. So, lets use some of my own characters for example. Gisli has a sister, who would likely be a mutant, and they would be extremely close. So I would add her sister! But Gisli's adopted parents would play little role in the rp, and so I wouldn't add them to the list other then just for information for anyone who would like to play her sister. But in the case of the Nightshades or other mutant families, we would include all the branches, because everyone wants to play mutants.
Also, this isn't just a giant list saying 'this person is looking for these people but contact them first', 'this person is looking but doesn't care if you contact them', etc. This is going to be set up you can just look at the list, see an opening, and take it with out talking to the person if you don't want to. I will mention at the top that some people would like to know before you make the claim, but it isn't a required thing. If they don't, it's up to you to contact them after.
Anyway, just wanted everyone to keep that in mind.

Okay, Just wanted to give an example of what these look like, and such.

As you can see, this is Gisli's family. Anyone can claim her two older siblings. And, when they are taken, we just strikethrough the name. And, if there are relatives on the list, we even include who that family is(As you can see.), so, Gisli will actually have open cousins! The dots represent mutant, human, or either, and gender. As you can guess, pink is girl, blue boy. Yellow is mutant, red, up to you, white human(aren't any on this list). But you see how it'll work.

Small question, the family i listed are related to nix ,(my girl) , and the two that people can really play, the twins, she has never meet so ,on the proper one, it be listed as nix below them struck out? Or not? Have I got that wrong?
