Well she said that she didn’t know how. I didn’t ask questions. *She must have been in quite a situation for her not to know how to read.*
*Xander sighed. He was trying to get out of the role, at least a little bit.* I understand that. But you know better than I do, that she needs more than just one person to hang out. I can’t baby sit her all the time. I do have other things, believe it or not. *They weren’t important things, but they were important to him. Namely his music, training, and seeing his friends. There were some others, but his point was that he couldn’t be Kirsty’s big brother all the time. He had a life too.* So, it’s your job to make sure that she makes other friends down here. Just because I’m “normal” doesn’t mean that I’m the only one who has to play with her.
*Ben obviously still didn’t get that the story wasn’t that bad. She seemed to like the story, just as long as it didn’t have any monsters that were too scary. She was a lot more grown up in that section then he thought she was.*
