My Worries

Okay, so all of you should know by now, that I won't be here for much longer. I'm preparing to go on my LDS mission, which means, I'll be gone for a year and a half. I won't be able to get on the board at all. Heck, I'll only be on the computer once a week, just long enough to read the e-mails I get, and write my family! Creed and Jean will be in charge while I'm gone, with Risa checking in periodically. Basically, I'll have nothing to do with the board until I get home.

Now, why am I repeating something that most of you know? Because, there are a few things on my mind, that need to be addressed.

First, I have a lot going on right now, if you didn't know. I'm working full time to save up as much money as I can. I'm taking mission prep. I'm doing personal preparation. I'm trying to fix up the forum to make Creed and Jean's job easier. I'm having to PHYSICALLY get ready to leave(Medical stuff.). And I'm having to worry about if you guys will stay active with me gone. Now, most of that stuff, can't be changed. It's stuff I want/have to do. One of those though, is on you guys. Is it really fair, that I have to worry about you guys staying active, when I already have so much on my plate already? I should be worried about leaving my friends and family for a year and a half! Not you guys getting on.

Sadly, I do worry. I've devoted hundreds upon hundreds of hours to this board. I've spent over FOUR YEARS of my life keeping it active. And the biggest fear I have, is it dying while I'm gone. It isn't fair, that the forum should be a worry for me. That I should even consider staying home for a second, because most of you haven't given me a vote of confidence. And, obviously, it's extremely upsetting that I am having those kinds of thoughts.

I'm not blaming you guys. Instead, I am asking, begging, that you will keep things going with out me. That, during my mission, I won't have to wonder if you are even remembering to vote for spotlights! Or if people still get on in the first place! Basically, all I want from you guys, is to be reassured that you'll keep the board going. Because I can't even tell you guys how upset I would be if I came home to find the board inactive.

I'm not angry either. Like I said, I'm just worried. About a lot of things. But the one thing I don't want to worry about, is this board. Please, all I'm asking, is you guys giving me the vote of confidence to not worry about it.

...the last thing you should worry about is this board. I'm always around and so is Jean so your staff will definitely be here...I can also plot unspeakable things to do to people that dont stay active, muahaha. Also we'll recruit like crazy too. So don't let this hitch you up in your decisions and what you need to do. We're not important right now(I know you're still highly invested of course), you are. Trust me to keep things going while you take care of yourself, okay?

If this place does indeed go downhill...which I promise it wont >.> I'll give you my address and you can punish me as you see fit, okay?
