Liam listened to what the girl had to say and watched as she extended her hand out to him. He just looked at her and never made a move to take her hand. He knew for a fact now that she definitely had something up her sleeve. In any gamble, it was always when you thought that you had the biggest advantage when you were at the most disadvantage. He wasn't sure why she would make this kind of deal otherwise, especially with how self-confident she seemed to be on winning. He didn't trust what he was looking at and often when he felt this way there was something bad about it. He kept studying her for a moment as he tried to figure out a way she could be cheating, which she obviously was going to be doing. After a moment he finally stirred.
" Girly, I'm not sure what you're up to, but how about instead of something I'm good at, we do something your good at doing? It's no fun otherwise, am I right?" Liam said to her with a hint of a challenging smirk on his face. " What do you have to lose?"

Okay, this guy seriously irritated her.You did NOT change the rules on her. Ever. Especially when they were HER rules. "That's no' how it works, boyo.' She was obviously annoyed now. And it was even more obvious that she was the type of person that didn't want anything not going her way. "At circuses, we give ye guests the challenge, and ye take ih er leave ih. Ye donnae change the deal. But if ye're that worried about me cheatin', we can go out front, ah'm sure one o' the other guests is bright enough to know if ah cheat."
After a few moments she shrugged, her interest waning. "But if ye're no' interested, ah understand. Ih's no' like ah can force ye er anythin'. Here ah am, goin' out o' me way to give ye a sneak peak o' the circus, somethin' that's a once in a life time offer. Oh well, ah probably 'ave work to do. And here ah was, just wantin' to 'ave a bit o' fun." She let out a very depressed sigh. And, actually, it wasn't fake! Given a choice, she'd rather torment and amaze guests then prep. So, while what she said was obviously intended to pity party him into cooperating, it was also her real feelings on the subject. Kind of hard to say no when you knew it was actually a sincere response...

*Chantel sighed, she showed dismantlement as well. The rule was, if your not entertaining guests then you have to help with the set up. This man was the only way out, as long as the girls were talking to him, or pulling some form of con, then they didn't have to help. But if he didn't take the bet, then Chantel would be abliged to tell him to leave, and show him the way back to the front, getting back to her duties.*
Is it really that hard to think of something that you can do that Izzy cant? Are you that boring of a person? Were only seven teen year old girls, I'm sure a man like you can do lots more than one not so innocent carnie girl can do. *This was Chantel's attempt to get the man interested again.* Perhaps we can start this properly, what's your name, mine is Lizzy and this is my twin cousin Izzy. *Chantel was sometimes able to get them to change their minds, she had a slightly different approach than Lainey's. One that would seem more like a friendly game than a bet for a life.*

Liam could tell that these girls were looking forward to this and he guessed it had something to do with getting out of something. He remembered doing that with his old man some when he was a kid. He wasn't swayed very much by the taller girls sigh even if it sounded genuine and he had already decided that the shorter girl was in on it. He figured since he was here and they looked bored, he might as well entertain them.
Liam reached out and took the taller girl's hand. He shook it with a smile as he said, " Alright, I'll take on your bet."
Liam thought about what he could do that others normally couldn't, but all he got was combat related stuff and he wasn't going to have this girl try any of those out. He looked around for a moment before he spotted a spot with some trees. He looked at them for a moment before an idea can to him. He looked at the taller girl with a smile.
" How about we try and see who can make something out of wood faster and better? I'm sure you have a knife on you, so we have all we need if we go over to those trees." Liam said to her in a friendly tone.

Lainey made a face when Chantel told this stranger their nicknames for each other. It was their own way of sounding even more like twins. Sadly, their first names hadn't matched up all that well. Their middles though.... Hence where Izzy and Lizzy came from. Izzy was short for Isadore, and Lizzy for Elizabeth. And, in Lainey's mind, those were Fury only names. Only each other and family could call them by it. "Yeeeaaaaah. Yer no' allowed to call us Izzy and Lizzy." It was obviously an order, the way she said it. "Ye call her Chantel, me Lainey. Nothin' else, got it, boyo?"
The moment their hands touched, a variety of skills that Lainey had never seen, flooded her mind. It was always an interesting feeling when she copied someone, like something warm was washing over you, and there was always a unique taste to each person. She wasn't sure why, but everytime she copied someone, it left a taste in her mouth, that was always different. With people she'd touched more often, she could actually recognize them by the taste. This guy... He tasted like smoke, gunpowder, and fresh bills of money. At the time, she didn't know what that meant, later on she might come to realize they were hints of his profession...
It took only that small handshake, and he wouldn't feel a thing. But now, every worthwhile skill of his, was neatly stored away in that pretty little head of hers. For a few seconds, she mentally sorted through them, wondering just what she'd gotten, and boy was she in for a surprise! Most of these skills were combat related. So she really did have a military man on her hands. Suddenly she was grinning, hoping he'd pick one of these skills, if only because she was itching to try them...
And that excitement came crashing down on her like a bucket of cold water, that annoyed expression returning. "That's the best ye could come up with? That's no fun at all!" A short pause as she sighed. "And ye do know that's vandalism, right? We donnae own this land, after all."

Chantel giggled a little bit by hearing her name compared to Lainey's. They sounded so different. And they both sounded cool in Izzy's accent. While waiting to see what would happen Chantel grabbed a section of Thunder's main and started to braid it. She didn't want to leave, but she didn't have anything else to do. Once one braid was done, she pulled out a hair tie from her pocket and tied it, grabbing a different chunk of hair and starting the prosses over again.*
*Chantel sat there, questioning what he was thinking, building something? That was vague, Lainey would never fall for it. Witch she didn't. That was a good call on the vandalism spot. It was true, but Chantel was sure that Lainey knew something that she didn't, and wanted him to say something more exciting that he had in his skill roster. While Lainey waited, Chantel looked around, hopping that just sitting her, she wouldn't get in trouble, they were out of the way and talking to a guest....they shouldn't get in trouble. Plus most the troupe would just be happy that they aren't causing trouble for the other members.*

Liam noticed a strange look to the girl after she had shook his hand. The look quickly had gone away he noticed after he mentioned making things out of wood. She seemed to want to do something else. She mentioned vandalism being a problem of them doing that, but he doubted that they would have an issues for taking some dead limbs off of the tree. He guessed he should just think of something else. He looked around the place once more until he spotted a group that was throwing some knives at an old log. He watched them for a moment before he looked back at the taller girl.
" Why don't we throw some knives then? You can decide on the conditions." Liam said to her in a friendly tone of voice. " It might be dangerous, but you don't seem like the kind of person who cares."
Liam had thrown knives before, but his was always with military grade throwing knives and instead of at logs, it was at other people. He always wondered what his life would have been like if he had grown up like a normal person. He looked over at the shorter girl on the horse and gave her a friendly smile.
" Well miss, what do you think? Do you mind if I have your twin sister throwing some knives?" Liam asked her in a friendly tone of voice. " Also, I have a gift for the both of you."
Liam was starting to like these two girls. They were obviously troublemakers, but that was their own charm. He pulled out his wallet and grabbed some bills out of it and handed each girl $100. He had more then he would ever spend any ways and he felt an odd connection to them for some reason.

While Chantel was doing… Whatever it was she was doing, Lainey waited for the man to come up with a different task. Wood carving didn’t sound interesting in the least. And none of the skills she’d copied said he was an expert at it. Basically it would have sucked trying to do something like that. Knife throwing though. That peaked her interest. Not only did she have his skills on the task, but she had some of the troupe’s as well. Basically, this guy was in for a world of pain. ”Aye, knife throwin’ ih is. Bu’ ih’s yer conditions. Ah’m the challenger, after all!”
What she hadn’t expected though, was his sudden…. Generosity. Actually, it made her suddenly very superstitious. ”Ye ainnae expectin’ anythin’ cause o’ this, right? Like me lettin’ ye win, ye getting’ lucky. Ye’d call us ‘jailbait’ after all, and ye ainnae that nice on the eyes.” She shrugged, as if it was an every day topic, quickly pocketing the hundred he’d given her. ”And donnae expect to get ih back. Finder’s keepers.” She glanced to the people practicing, and yelled, speaking in a language this giant probably wouldn’t recognize. Irish Gaelic. Most Travellers, even if they didn’t speak Gaelic, understood it. It was one of their native languages after all. One of the men practicing, yelled back, before throwing a handful of special throwing knifes in their direction, laughing all the while. Of course he knew what Lainey was up to, everyone knew her little scheme.
Each knife landed in the dirt at their feet with a definite thud, the blade sunk deep into the ground. Whoever that guy was, he was obviously an expert knife thrower… He also happened to be the knife thrower she’d copied… Scooping up all the knifes, she evenly split them, three for her, three for him. ”Best out o’ three? Pick a target.”

*Chantel staired at the money that was just handed to her...That was odd. Guests weren't usually this giving when they were being conned, most of them were suspicious. Come to think about it most people who came kept their wallets close to them, just in case the carnies thought of something. Chantel was a little bit more causious, and double checked to see if it was real, almost suprised that it was she did as Lainey did, she quickly pocked it then went back to her work on Thunder's main.*
*As the nameless man mentioned the challenge Chantel instantly smiled, she had learned some knife throwing form the man who threw the knives. He was the expert, and an excellent teacher. Chantel's smile widening as she looked at Lainey. She gave her a confident look and then waited for the target to be chosen. This turned out to be a good endeavor. They were going to have a "man slave" for a little bit, and they were two hundred dollars richer. Turns out that this spot was a lucky spot, at least for the girls.*
This is so much better than baby watch, huh Izzy? *The girls enjoyed tricking people more than ever, but they usually did something with a trade of labor or something.*

Liam just smiled at how the girls reacted to him giving them a gift. He couldn't blame them for it and actually thought it was a good response.
" It's a gift. I didn't give it to you for any other reason than to give it to you. Besides girly, you don't have much room to talk yourself on how someone else looks. You have a cute face, but not much to your body." Liam said to her with a smirk.
Liam knew it would piss her off, but that was the point. The girl wanted to run her mouth off, so he might as well do it to. He watched as she yelled something to the men throwing knives. The one who seemed to be in charge said something back to her before throwing the knives towards them. Liam didn't flinch or even show any sign at moving as they hit the ground. He was use to things flying his way, and if he was worried about being hit then all he had to do was put up his bio-armor. He listened as the girl said to make it the best out of three and to pick his target as she divided them up. He picked up one of the knives and tested it's weight and balance. He was impressed with how well they were made for throwing.
" Alright, we will throw them at the target the guy who gave them to us was throwing them at." Liam said to the girl in a friendly tone of voice. " But, we will be throwing them from where we stand."
The distance from them to the target was too far for anyone to normally attempt to throw them from. The distance would require as much strength as it did skill to hit the target.
