Appearance: Gil is tall, reaching the height of 6'3, dark, and would be handsome if he looked human. He is covered from head to toe in dark scales, has gills on his neck (can't tell they are unless you see him using them or he opens them up when he isn't), webbed and clawed hands and feet, sharp toothed mouth,and a bald head with blue eyes that sometimes look milky when he has his swimming lens over them (a special lens that is part of his body). He has a lean body frame.

Personality: Despite Gil's monster appearance, he is a gentle guy. He never uses force on anything unless he absolutely has to or is backed into a corner and is forced to. His gentle nature even extends into how he treats others. He is the kind of guy that would get something for somebody if they can't just because he can. and if he noticed a kid looking at a treat he had , say a caramel apple, he would hand it to them with a smile.
Gil is a very quiet guy, for many reasons. He has rarely been around people until he was picked up by the Furies so he got into a habit of not speaking unless he had to. His quiet nature also makes him be anti-social to the point to were he will avoid groups of people that are bigger then 3 people. When he is around too many people, he get nervous and has to go find some water to be in to calm himself down.
Gil might be quiet and gentle, but he can be a very stubborn person. He needs to be with his lot in life. When he starts doing something or gets an idea in his head, he goes with it until he gets it done or it is clear he can't do it. His stubbornness can be a real problem though if he gets angry or nervous since it will take a great effort to get him to get out of whatever pool of water he is lurking in when he does.
Gil understands how money is used and what it is for, but he places little value on it himself. What he does place value on though is shiny objects and food (mostly seafood or whatever else can be found in or near water). He will go to great lengths to get either of those two things, which his foster parents use against him all the time. Offer this guy a fish and he will follow you anywhere, literally.
Gil absolutely loves water. He feels comfortable and calm when he is swimming in it. He has to get into a pool of water if he can whenever he is near one, unless he has a reason not to. This part of his nature is why he will seek out water when he is angry, upset, or just needs to think about something.
Gil rarely gets angry and when he does, he tends to calm down fairly quickly. He has very few triggers for his anger, but the ones that get to him the quickest are hurting someone he actually cares about (physically or emotionally), taking away his food and instead of eating it yourself, ruin or destroy it some way, and not giving him something he wants after it was promised to him just because you can.
Gil doesn't get attached to others very often, but if someone does win him over, he is loyal to the death. He will do more, much more, for someone he cares about then he would a stranger. He will actually talk, more so atleast, and be around them which he would never do with a stranger.

Power(s): Fish man mutation- Gil is now a mix between a human and a fish. He is covered in dark scales, has gills on his neck that allow him to breath underwater. He has a special lens that he can cover his eyes with that protect them from water and allow him to see when he is underwater. His hands and feet has sharp claws on them that are long enough to hurt if he slashed you with them, but short enough that they don't hinder him using his hands in any way. His hands and feet also contain webbing between them that he can change the size of depending on if he is on land or in the water. His teeth are sharp, and while not as sharp as a sharks, they can hurt someone if he bites into them.
Gil also has increased strength due to his mutation, although it only is minor increase. His time spent swimming all the time though has made him much stronger then normal humans. His endurance is enhanced as much as his strength, and due to the same reasons as his strength, is much better then humans. He can withstand colder temperatures, but only a few degrees more.
Weakness(s): Gil has all the normal human weaknesses. He can't stay in too dry of an area though since it will dry his scales out and left him with scales flaking off and him in a very bad mood from all the itching.
Cause: Gil was a normal kid until he turned 4. After that, his mutation slowly kicked in until by the age of 6, he was completely how he is now.
Other skills: Gil is an incredibly fast and good swimmer. He is also oddly enough a good cook.

Anything else: Gil's birth parents were killed when he was 6 by a group of people who lived in the small town he use to live at. They believed that Gil was some kind of devil child and ended up killing his parents as he escaped. He ran to the nearby ocean and from then until he was 15 when he was picked up by the Fury's, he lived by himself in it's waters. He meet some people who were nice to him and managed to learn somethings from them. The one he remembered most was a elderly, blind woman who would talk with him and teach him things all the time.
Gil's new family is a little overbearing for him. His foster mother is always trying to get him to meet this girl or that, or just fawning over him in general. He doesn't mind doing things for them, but he isn't use to and good with being fawned over. Both of his foster parents insist that he goes by the last name Fury, even though he isn't technically their adopted son yet.
