Freya slowed down a little when Rory charged the guard, wanting to watch and see just what this new suit of his was capable of. The Ghost didn’t even stand a chance, dead before he even seemed to register what was happening. Well, it was a good thing Rory was on her side… Otherwise she might be a little worried.
She caught up quickly, glancing at the body for only a moment before looking back at Rory. ”I’d call that pretty witty.” Rory was funny in a fight. He always came up with crazy one liners while, or after, killing the person. It just made her day, because, usually when Freya fought she got mad. Which was pretty understandable… when you considered her power. Rage and anger went hand in hand. The angrier she got, the stronger she became. It was why she couldn’t go omega unless she was flat out furious. Think of it as a…. safety switch. Going omega could kill her if she wasn’t careful, so, she actually couldn’t go full power unless she absolutely needed t o.
Freya smirked as he took a guess and got spot on. ”Does it surprise you?” Really, when didn’t Freya want hi…. Okay, a few times came to mind, like when she was frustrated at him for some reason, but he always changed her mind at those times. Right now though, that suit didn’t help. She had one other thought though. Rory had said the suit changed to fit the person’s power and personality…. It made her curious what it’d look like if she wore it….
Back to reality just in time to hear his request. Hearing it, a wicked smirk crossed her lips as she looked back at the mob charging them. This was one of the few times Rory had actually told her to basically go all out. And she had so much to work with…. Bang was an understatement. Raising her arms, there was a deafening crack that rang through the whole hanger as several streaks of lightning slammed into the sides of helicopters. If you’d even seen Starwars, it would probably look like force lightning, lightning going everywhere(Except towards the Jet Rory was starting up. She wasn’t that stupid.).
The explosions were deafening, and caused a sort of domino effect. One would explode, and take out all it’s neighbors with it, who in turn took out their neighbors…. You get the picture. Jumping into the Jet, she didn’t even bother going up to where Rory was. ”You might want to get us out of here before we become part of the show!” Freya could hold off the explosions from getting to close to the Jet for a time, but in a few seconds…. It would be so extreme that even Freya would struggle. It didn’t help that she was starving and said hunger had been sapping her strength all day.

Rory couldn't help but grinned at what Freya had said, "Suprise isn't the righ' word...." There was a short pause, "Excites me is more appropriate I think." Once again, the flirtatious tone behind the helmet couldn't be mistaken. Normally, Rory was a physical flirter, the type of person who knew how to use his body, or a touch, or a wink to get a person's attention.
Whenever he tried to verbally flirt with someone, as Freya knew all too well, he usually ended up sounding silly and embarrassing himself. So the fact that he not only once, but TWICE in a row was able to successfully flirt was... imperessive to say the least. That was all besides the point though, considering they were in the middle of a warzone. Though, if you thought about it, that was probably the most likely reason of WHY he was flirting so well; war seemed to make him better at everything )not to mention it made him very turned on, especially seeing Freya fight)... War... It's fantastic.
The moment Rory saw that wicked smile spread across Freya's face, a single chill ran down his back. It felt as though an approaching storm was coming, the kind that you knew was absolutely nothing but devistating. Honestly, Rory telling Freya to go all out was much like letting a Rottweiler off it's leash. A rabid Rottweiler to be more specific. A rabid Rottweiler that could set things on fire with it's mind, had a generally violent attitude... Oh, and was a red head... Yeah, that definitely made all the difference.
Either way, Rory didn't get to watch for long as he began flipping switches and pressing buttons across the dashboard. Almost immediately though, the lightening from Freya caught his eyes. Perhaps less about the lightening catching his eyes, and more along the lines of the wave of exploding helicopters approaching the jet. In seconds, the army that was surrounding them was consumed in fire, debris, and the raging inferno that Freya had created. As the engines of the jet fired up, Rory glanced back at Freya as the door to the jet closed behind her, "Ye really only know how ta go all ou' don't ye?" Restraint seemed to be a foreign word to this woman...
As Rory began frantically trying to get the jet off the ground before the oncoming tidal wave of destruction consumed them, he could be heard muttering, "El Diablo esta nina." The words weren't just spoken they, they came out in almost a... sing-song voice.
Finally the jet began to lift off the ground, taking off much like a helicopter. He glanced back at Freya, making sure she was holding on tight, before kicking on the boosters and flying almost straight up toward the very small hangar bay doors. Hangar bay doors which were closing by the way... As they got closer to the closing doors, and the fire and destruction rose underneath them threatening to overwhelm them, Rory could be heard saying even louder, "El Diablo Esta Nina!"
As the approached the doors, looking as they they were about to either crash or burn up, Rory was practically shouting the little song, "EL DIABLO ESTA NIIINNNNAAAAAAAA!" Missing the large metal doors by inches as they closed behind them, Freya and Rory shot straight up into the atmosphere. Once they were far enough above the land that the castle below looked like a small dot, Rory set the jet to hover and stared out the window.
Below, nothing was going on, then suddenly, the entire ground seemed to rise up like a bubble... Then collapse in on itself with a massive belch of fire and smoke bursting out from the ground. It seems that their fight with the general, on top of the exploding hangar bay, had completely destroyed the base, "And so, tha' which was made from the earth, returns..." Rory said somewhat cryptically as he stared almost hypnotized out the window at his destroyed home.

Freya was smirking. Rarely was Rory successful with verbal flirting. Apparently he was on a roll today, though. Or, as much of a roll as possible for Rory. He wasn’t an ‘amazing’ flirt, but he could be a good one in the right settings.
She hadn’t meant to cause that big of an explosion, but like hell if she cared. She was ridiculously flamboyant and it showed. This though…. It was a bit too much, even for her. None the less, she was grinning like a fool and laughing in the back of the jet. That laughter only got worse when Rory called back to her. She couldn’t stop laughing, even after they took off and Rory started chanting…. Something.
Wait…. What was it he was saying? She covered her mouth so she could hear him more clearly. When she did…. She made a face. She might not speak that language, but she understood what he was saying. ”Wait just a minute! What do you mean by that?!” She wasn’t angry, rather, she was… appalled. He wasn’t referring to her was he? Oh he better not…. She’d show him just how devilish she could be if he did…
Finally with that hysterical laughter under control, and the jet wasn’t pinning her to the back wall, she moved up to the cockpit where Rory seemed to have tunnel vision. Dropping into the co-pilot seat, she leaned back into the chair with her legs brought up to chest. ”Sooo…. You dated that General before, huh?” She honestly had a hard time believing it. Rory didn’t seem like the type to get along with most people. The fact he could put up with her was a miracle. Him dating other people…. Blew her mind.

There was one thing Rory had not been expecting while flying the jet straight out of the mouth of hell itself... Laughter. Sure, Rory was crazy, hell, he was justifiably insane but even he wasn't laughing at the fact that they nearly died. Ok, he was making funny comments about it, but still, the hysterical laughter that Freya had was almost unnerving... Rory definitely had rubbed off on her a little bit too much, though he would never admit it, nor would he ever admit that even HE found it a little crazy. Still, it really didn't surprise him that much the more he thought about... After all, Freya WAS dating him.
"Ye understood tha' eh?" Rory asked somewhat sheepishly, "I mean' nothin' by ih tha' ye dunnit already know, lass." Yes, Rory had been calling her the devil, but even she would have to admit that sometimes she was. Though, Rory would probably be interested in how devilish she could be, especially with how much he was attracted to her right now...
Though, as he stared at the window, the gravity of everything that had just happened really hit him. They had just killed Cassandra, general of the ghosts and the soldiers. They had destroyed the production facility of the ghosts, and brought down one of the key bases of Darkside. Maybe, just maybe, they actually had a shot at this! Freya's voice to his side suddenly snapped him back to reality. Then, as the reality of what she really had just asked him hit him he was very thankful his face was masked right now because if it wasn't you would be able to see just how nervous he was right now.
Rory was anything but stupid, this situation had just gotten tense. Much like disarming a nuclear warhead, one wrong move, one wrong word, and he would likely die a horrible death. He had to handle this with care, "Ye could call ih tha' I suppose." Beautiful! That was an excellent job, if Rory could pat himself on the back he would. Situation defused! Not only had he answered it, he had prevented anymore questions... or so he hoped...

Was Freya crazy? Yes. Most definitely. Especially when her own element was involved. She loved destroying things, it was what she did. Something would be seriously wrong with her if she didn’t relish in the amount of destruction she could create. But… It unnerved a lot of people, even Rory (Not often, but it happened.).
”Of course I understood it!” Still making that face, it turned into a wicked grin when he continued. ”Yeah. Probably. I’m not denying anything.” Oh, she knew she could be an evil bitch sometimes. She knew it, Rory knew it, the whole world knew it. It wasn’t like Rory was a saint either though…. ”You know you love me for it.”
Freya hadn’t planned on bringing up Rory and his ‘ex’. She’d figured he didn’t want to talk about it. But… Curiosity got the better of her. Or, specifically, one question in particular. She hadn’t said it yet though. No, she’d ask in a few minutes…. Even if she knew this was probably a very awkward conversation for him. She had to know, even if it seemed… trivial.
She silently waited for his response. And when she got it, it wasn’t what she expected. He seemed set on trying to end the conversation before it really started. Not going to happen. Not while she had to ask this question. ”….” She slowly blinked, staring at him for several moments. As much as she liked the suit, it was a nuisance right now, hiding his face from view. ”…. Who was better. Me or her.” Her expression was ridiculously blank as she waited for an answer. Oh, he’d know exactly what she meant…

"Love ye for ih?" Rory said with the slightest laugh, "Hell, alainn... ih turns me on." He admitted with another slight laugh. Though, Freya would know he wasn't joking in the least. After all, they generally had one of their "make out sessions" after Freya had either angrily chastised Rory, or after she had killed an army of people.
Rory was attracted to brutality just as much as he loved inflicting it, so it was only natural that when Freya was particularly evil, he was more attracted to her than ever. He always loved her, that was for sure, but when she did something evil... Rory's aggression and focus turned to more... Sensual objectives...
If Freya hadn't expected to ask the question about Rory's 'ex', you better believe that Rory hadn't expected it in a thousand years. As he stared at Freya, a "deer caught in the headlights" looked covered his face from behind his mask. Interesting, because the suit itself screamed death, yet the man inside it was practically terrified of saying the wrong thing right now... Women, not only could the soothe the savage beast they could also scare the living hell out of them...
What she asked next though, completely blind-sided Rory. If he was nervous before, now he looked as though a train just hit him, was she REALLY asking this NOW? It would seem so. Several moments of absolute silence passed as they simply stared at each other, Rory trying to figure out what to say, "I'd really prefer no' ta talk abou' this righ' now, lass..." Rory said bluntly, hopefully that would stop her. Quickly, he turned back to the dashboard and began flipping a few switches before pulling on the yoke and turning it toward the East and pushing the accelerator forward.
Instantly the jet took off with a sharp jump and the were speeding through the air, several thousands of feet above the Earth. As much as Rory tried to avoid Freya's eyes he knew she wouldn't give it a rest. So before she could chide him anymore, he turned back to her, "We never slept together. I know she said we did, bu' she was lyin' a'righ'? I've never even seen her na-..." Rory caught himself, he wasn't going to lie to Freya, " I never had sexual relations with her..." Obviously there was more that Rory was leaving out. However, he was learning very quickly that sometimes, talking was very, very bad....

”Awwww. That’s one of the sweetest things you’ve said to me today.” One of. Not the sweetest. The sweetest was when he actually admitted he loved her, and that he didn’t want to lose her. Nothing could really top that.
Oh, Freya knew she was making him uncomfortable. Did that stop her? No. She was curious, probably just as much as he would be if he found out about any of her exes. Not that she had any noteworthy exes… Just a few guys that had taken her out a few times. Of course, Freya wouldn’t tell Rory this, in case his jealous side showed and he decided to track down said men. Wouldn’t be a great idea.
And he wasn’t going to weasel his way out of t his conversation, no matter how hard he tried! She waited in silence to see if he’d realize this. After a few minutes, it finally seemed to dawn on him. All the while, she just waited for an explanation. She knew him pretty well, enough to know that he’d continue. Probably because he knew she’d pester him about it until he got an answer. When Freya set her mind to something, nothing changed it…
At first, she was relieved. Then…. She heard that slip up. It made her frown. They might not have slept together but Rory had seen her naked? Why..? ”You slipped up there a little.” She didn’t point out what he’d messed up on. He knew. He knew she knew. And he knew he wouldn’t get out of it now that he had her full attention. She just waited now. Waited for another explanation.

Rory leaned over a little, "Ta be hones', ya never stopped turnin' me on since we go' inta the base..." The demonic helmet itself almost seemed to wink at Freya, though it could easily be mistaken for just a strange flash in it's glowing black eyes.
If only Freya knew just how uncomfortable she was making Rory... She probably wouldn't really care. Yes, he wished he could be absolutely anywhere else but here right now, unfortunately, wishes rarely came true for Rory. Though, she was right about one thing, Rory knew that she hadn't ever really been with anyone before him, but if he ever found out who she had even gone on a single date with... well... Rory sure would hate for her to have any skeletons in her closet that weren't taken care of...
"I have no ide-" Rory stopped himself, he knew that she knew that he knew that he had slipped up. He was just wondering if she knew that he knew that she knew that he knew that he had slipped up. Ok, now he was just stalling... "Ye wan' the gritty details? A'righ', ye asked for them." With the flip of a switch the jet was put into auto-pilot and Rory turned to face Freya.
"I never even kissed her, bu' she always had some sort of... infatuation with me. I never even wen' on a date with her bu' she always came on ta me." Rory took a slight breath, "One nigh' after training, I wen' ta me quarters and she was lying on me bed, totally naked and holdin' a pair o' handcuffs. She said I'd been workin' hard all day and needed some time ta relax... She said she loved how rough I was, and wanted me ta be rough..." Rory paused for a short bit, worried that Freya was going to kill him on the spot. Finally, he let out a sigh and continued.
"So, I took the handcuffs, and handcuffed her ta me bed.... Then I took twenty four swords and drove them through her ches', stomach and arms, pinning her ta the bed, then I sawed off her righ' leg and threw ih ou' the window, ripped out her lef' knee cap, and broke her elbows in two places... Told her if she wanted ta play rough again ta jus' call me..."
Another short pause came and Rory stared out the window as if he was deep in thought, "She didn't think ih was as funny as I did..." Rory's voice was dead serious, he truly didn't understand how she didn't think it was funny. Rory was laughing hysterically when he left the room that night...
"Tha's as far as me relationship wen' with the she-bitch..." He slowly turned back to Freya, preparing for the worst...

”Oh reeeaaaaally?” Freya knew he was turned on when she was being unusually violent. It had been proven hundreds of times before now. A violent man was simply most attracted to a violent woman when she was… well, being violent! And a violent woman was most attracted to a violent man when he was being violent… Or in this case, seriously looked it. That suit was no fair at all…
Did she want all the dirty details? Yes. She did. As sad and ‘dirty’ as that sounded, she honestly wanted to know. Maybe to make sure he hadn’t done anything. Or maybe… It was pure curiosity. Who knew. As she listened though, an eyebrow raised…. The other one soon joining it. There was absolutely silence on her end as he spoke. She didn’t lash out in anger, like he probably expected, just… listened. It was a little eerie, to be honest. Finally though, she cracked a smile…. That soon turned into a smirk and a small chuckle escaped her lip.
A few moments of soft chuckling passed, before she let out an almost relieved sigh. ”You have no idea how happy that makes me.” Twisted as it was, it made her happy. Happy that he’d never been with the woman. Happy that he’d given her what she deserved. For a few moments, Freya had been worried that she’d have that jealous monster inside of her waking once again…

Leaning just a tad bit closer, Rory spoke a little quieter this time, "Le's jus' say this... If I wasn't wearin' this sui' righ' now..." He knew he didn't have to say anything else, she would get the point immediately. After all, he had definitely noticed the way she had been looking at him ever since he put the suit on, so he was sure they were both on the same page... Funny how that innocent girl he had met in that bank so long ago was the fiery vixen sitting before him today...
Though Rory would never admit it, ever, she was absolutely right. Rory was expecting the heat to skyrocket any second, instead, she smiled. The smile turned into a smirk, the smirk into a laugh. So, either she was laughing because she was about to kill him, laughing because she didn't believe him, or laughing because Rory truly had corrupted her and she found the brutal torture of Cassandra just as funny as Rory. The more softly she smiled and laughed, the more he realized it was the latter. It looked like he HAD corrupted her more than he imagined... Laughing at another persons torture... That was very attractive...
"Really? Well... Tha's... Good." Rory said with a slight chuckle, "I know I've never told ya this alainn, bu'... Before I me' ye tha' day in the bank, I really hadn't been with anyone else... Ever."
There was a something slight that Rory was leaving out of the "ever" part, but it was something that didn't matter to their relationship. What Freya would probably find more interesting was the fact that Rory completely remembered the day they met, and where they met, and how. He had forgot to mention to her what the suit had done to his memories...

Freya smiled deviously. Oh, she knew what he meant. And knew he knew what she’d been feeling ever since he showed up to tell her how to kill the body guard. ”I don’t think the suit would stop us.” was her only response. It honestly wouldn’t. If the desire was strong enough, he’d be out of it in an instance. They way she’d put it though…. Was almost taunting. She was actually daring him to, seeing if he would restrain himself or not. She wasn’t sure if he would give in or not…
Yes, laughing now was a little crazy. But, like Rory, Freya was rarely accused of being sane. It made her a little unpredictable. While he’d expected a violent outburst, the exact opposite had happened. Just went to show, you honestly never knew what this woman might do. That chuckling though stopped when she heard him mention the bank. Their first meeting- the real first meeting…. She’d never told him about it with his memories gone. So… How did he k-
Did he…. Remember it? She was so focused on that small portion of what he said, she missed the odd pause before ever. ”You… Remember…?” She sounded hopeful. Desperately hopeful. She’d been trying to help restore his memories for so long…. Could he finally have them back..?

Between that devious smile, and the seductive taunt, Rory almost couldn't stop himself from taking his suit off right on the spot. No, not yet though, he had to make sure they were completely safe before he removed it, until then though he could always see just how crazy he could drive Freya, "Well, ih's a lo' like havin' an old friend back... I'd need a pretty good reason ta take ih off." Oh, he knew exactly what Freya was wanting and suggesting, but he was turning the tables on her; seeing just what kind of a reaction he could get from her and hoping to taunt her jealousy a little by saying he had hism ind on the suit.
SUddenly though, Freya began acting a little strange. Her chuckling completely stopped and her face became eerily serious, as if Rory had just said something that turned the entire mood of the cockpit upside down. Behind his mask he raised his brow slightly, "Aye... The bank... Where we me', during the robbery?" To Rory it almost seemed as if she didn't remember herself.
Slowly he stood up from the cockpit and walked back into the main bay of the jet. This looked like a commanders jet, there were soft chairs linined the hull of the aircraft... Wait... If this was a commanders jet, that meant there might be food! "Ye know, there was tha' mutant there, he killed me, ya freaked ou' and fell in love with me rugged nature?" Ok, he was going a little over the top at the last of it, but he figured she got the point by now. He really didn't understand why she was acting funny, after all, he couldn't remember that only a few minutes ago he had amnesia...

Freya was scowling. Seriously scowling, as she got that response. It wasn’t one she liked or wanted. Ever. He was picking the suit over her? That just…. Irked her. Amazingly the temperature didn’t change. But, considering she was basically drained, and starving… Did you expect her to waste more energy? I think not.
”Oh, I see how it is. Fine. I’ll let you and the suit get reacquainted. If you need me, I’ll just be over here sulking.” And, to prove her point, she folded her arms across her chest and looked away from him, thoroughly irked. Seriously though, you didn’t pick a suit over Freya. Because this happened….
It was only his new memory lapse that made her look back at him. Oh great. He got all his other memories expect that he had lost his memories. Fancy that… She didn’t move from her spot, intent on sulking there until he redeemed himself. But that didn’t stop her from talking. ”Fell in love? I slapped you! I wouldn’t call that love!” Probably the only time Freya had ever slapped him…. And hopefully it’d be the last. He’d been very stunned by her actions, but not as stunned as herself.
”I’m surprised you remember though. Before now you had some memory issues.” That was a pretty nice way of putting it. Memory issues instead of amnesia… He’d probably catch onto the subtle hint though.

If Freya was annoyed by the fact that Rory was teasingly referring that he preferred to spend time with his suit instead of her, Rory was even more annoyed with the fact that she was sulking. Surely she realized just how much she really was turning him on right now, and how badly he wanted her. Then to just up and sulk, completely ignoring him? So yes, to say he was annoyed was an understatement considering that right now, he wanted Freya far more than he wanted food...
"Ye know alainn, all ye'd have ta do is say the word... And I'd be takin' off me suit... and yer clothes." The last part was said a little quieter, though loud enough that she would definitely hear it. As he thought about it though, every time he died and came back, it was as if he was reborn in a sense. So he really only wanted food just to eat it, he wasn't hungry. Considering Freya hadn't eaten since the mansion, several days ago, it was probably hard for her to really focus on anything with an empty stomach. Ok, Rory would find some food for her and if was still sulking, he'd just be mad...
Rory walked into the back of the plane, past all the comfortable seats, and straight to what looked like a little mini-bar int he back of the plane. Strangely, unlike most agency vehicles, this one was not full of weapons. Definitely a commanders jet... Rory stepped behind the mini-bar and quickly found a few bottles of water and... Food rations! One of them even said 'orange chicken' on the box. FINALLY some good news!
"My memory?" Rory said somewhat absentmindedly as he fished the food rations out from the back of the jet, "Hmm... Yes... I couldn't remember who I really was could I? Or who you were..." Just like all his real memories had felt like only a few minutes ago, the amnesia seemed like a distant memory, "Tha' was from having the chip removed. I'm sorry I ever forgo' abou' ye bu'... Pretty amazing tha' ye made me fall in love with ya again, aye? An for the record alainn, I would most definitely call tha' slap ye gave me a slap o' love... may no' have been love on your end, but ih definitely go' me turned on ta ye..."
Rory stepped out from behind the mini-bar, his arms filled with food rations. Using his foot, he kicked the minibar hard once, then again and it broke off it's braces and slid down the aisle of the jet, stopping between two chairs. He sat the rations and water down on the table he had made and motioned for Freya to come, "Well come ea' then, before ye turn cannibal on me..."
As Rory stood in the middle of the dark aisle of the plane, waiting for Freya, it was amazing how intimidating he still looked. In fact, he had to stoop every so slightly inside the jet because the ceiling was too low; with his hulking stooping frame, he truly looked like some sort of demon waiting for Freya to come to him. The funny part was, he wasn't trying to look as intimidating as he was, it was just the suit... It wasn't exactly like there was a "bad ass" switch you could turn on and off....

((I know. My post count was epic. Too bad this post threw it off. *depressed sigh*)) Freya was a little dramatic sometimes. Actually, more than a little…. She was extremely dramatic. To the point where it really wasn’t funny sometimes. Right now was one of those times. The solution was pretty simple though. If Rory actually made an effort to seduce her, it was unlikely she could keep herself away. Which…. He seemed to realize just a little. Because it was almost like she perked up when she heard what he said. It was almost like waving a treat in front of a dogs nose. It definitely caught her full and undivided attention. Shifting in the chair, she turned so she could look back at him with a very intent stare. She was about to say something, come up with a comeback that would make him come running back up here to go through with his promise… When she saw what he had. Her stomach growled. Dammit…. Why now?! Ugh….. Her hunger completely overpowered her desire for him. It seemed that until she did eat, there was no way she’d be able to focus on something like that. ”Pfft. I made you fall in love with me again? You seduced me!” Not quite true…. But he had made the first strong advance. She’d just….. Flirted a little beforehand. Suddenly, she was smirking mischievously. ”Awww, I didn’t know it was love at first sight for you.” Rory had to put up with a lot to be with her, and that included the occasional kick or slap. She hadn’t slapped him since that first encounter, but every time she kicked him, he had a similar reaction. Pure surprise, like he couldn’t figure out what he’d done to deserve it. ”Hmmmm Something tells me you wouldn’t mind so much if I did turn cannibal.” To be honest…. It might not surprise Freya if he said he hadn’t gone cannibalistic a few times. It was almost…. Fitting. He did some absolutely horrifying things, to the point where, honestly? Cannibalism wouldn’t be the worst… That didn’t mean she wanted to hear about it if she was guessing correctly. With a sigh, she got up, and came. Stopping right in front of Rory she made a face. ”Why are you even wearing that thing in here? There’s no one to intimidate but me, and I don’t see that happening any time soon.” As much as she liked him in the suit, right now it really wasn’t practical. He was actually having to hunch over a little just to stand!
