”hmmm…” Freya was smirking a little. So basically she wasn’t supposed to hold back at all? Poor Rory… she’d probably kill him accidently at least one more time in this base alone. ”That’s good to know.” Her voice came out a bit more diabolical then intended, almost like she planned on killing him at least once, instead of thinking she might…
It was a little funny that Rory wasn’t used to her swearing. When they’d barely been getting to know each other, she’d still struggled a little with the English language, and, obviously swear words hadn’t been a part of her vocabulary. Living at Xavier’s though…. Well, let’s just say sometimes Freya had been the student. ”Oh, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And you are not getting out of it.” Now what could she use against him to make sure he didn’t try to weasel his way out of making her breakfast..? Most threads didn’t work on him… Oh, she knew one. She could declare war on all his weapons until he did…. She was pretty sure that would work.
There was a strange perk in her steps as she followed him… Which might worry Rory because that usually meant she was up to something. And she was. And she was intentionally trying to make him worry…. Because, honestly, she wanted to make him squirm a little. It was always fun when he did. You’d think she completely forgot about what had just happened back in the Pit.
Freya didn’t say anything as he went on about the General. Deciding not to say anything, she just smiled. Poor guy, didn’t realize she already knew his suit was different. As he continued though…. That smile vanished, turning into a frown when he told her not to try and melt it. Oops…. ”Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I already tried that once.” He hadn’t seen her try to kill him like the rest of the Ghosts before. ”Didn’t know it was him at the time, of course, but he was with those Ghosts that attacked me up top.”
She was patiently waiting for that last warning, when he suddenly stopped. Seeing the contents of the room, she scowled. Great. This was seriously Rory’s heaven. And she was pretty sure NOTHING would be able to get him out of here. ”Earth to Rory? What am I not supposed to do?” She caught up to him quickly, waving a hand in front of his face to try and get his attention.

Of course Rory noticed the strange new skip in Freya's step. At first he thought that maybe she was happy he was alive, but at second glance he noticed that smile... that... particularly evil smile, "let's uh... Focus on the task at hand, then discuss the making of breakfast situation, a'righ'?" It was a reasonable request, but mostly he was just trying to change the subject and hopefully get that evil smile off her face. Strange, a man who feared absolutely nothing was finding her behavior at least a little... disturbing. He shook it off though, trying to ignore her.
There were a few things that Rory wasn't mentioning about the general and the suit, but they were mostly inconsequential things. Things that didn't really matter to what they were trying to accomplish. Their main goal was to kill the general, that was it! Wait, no, to kill the general and disable the base and that was it!
Well, they needed to stop the production of more ghosts so... Their goal was to kill the general, stop the production of ghosts, and disable the base!... Then again, something else came to mind. Their goals were to kill the general, stop the production of ghosts, disable the base, and get some food! Yeah, that was more like it...
When Freya spoke, Rory paused slightly, wait a minute... So the general had been on the surface attacking Freya? Great, Rory could've ended this several hours ago if he had known, worse still, Freya had attacked the general. That meant the suit was already stronger against Freya's powers, "Well... Just try something else next time." Rory said with a slight nod, Freya had a lot more at her disposal than just making things hot after all, "Also the general isn't... Eh, it doesn't matter. At least you know what the suit looks like now." Hopefully they would find the general fast. If Rory could get his hands on that suit... well... if you thought he was a manifestion of war without the suit...
Once they were inside the armory, Rory WAS in heaven; Rory heaven. So many ways to kill, so little time! Slowly he made his way over to a large, automatic, mounted, grenade launcher with four barrels that fired at the same time... Slowly he bent down and hugged the machine of destruction, and slowly ran his hand down the barrel as if petting it.
When he ran his hand down the barrel one time, it hit a button and the mounted weapon sprang to life on it's tripod and began pivoting back and forth looking for a target. Rory's jaw dropped and his eyes lit up... It was automated too! She's beautiful... I shall name her... Delilah.... He thought to himself as he bent down and hugged the machine. Seems that despite his island being destroyed, that his insanity was still in full swing...
"I love ye, strange weapon of death tha' dunnit know yer purpose... bu' I wanna find ou'." He practically whispered, as if talking to a lover, nuzzling the gun. Suddenly, Freya's voice snapped him back into reality and he looked up at her from his hugging position awkwardly. Delilah seemed to hum angrily at Freya's presence.
"Eh... I'll see ya soon me gra." He whispered out of the corner of his mouth to the gun, and quickly kissed it on the barrel before standing up as if nothing strange had just happened, "Ta be honest, I'll probably have ta deal the final blow to the general; but I won't be able ta if the generals bodyguards are around. So if ye can take them off me back, we should be able to do this easy enough." Rory said over his shoulder as he walked down the aisles, picking up random guns and holsters and arming himself.

Freya couldn’t help but grin even more. She could almost feel him squirming. Yup, he knew she was up to something and was trying to get off the subject as quickly as possible. She would have kept it up, if it weren’t for the rather serious situation they were in…. Apparently though, Rory forgot about the whole thing as soon as they entered the armory…
She watched in total silence as Rory acted like a kid in a candy shop. It was disturbing, but hilarious at the same time… Until she heard him tell one of the weapons he loved it. THAT irritated Freya. And…. When she realized that she was irritated, it only irritated her more. She was getting jealous of weapons?! Okay, this was just ridiculous. They were inanimate objects! And yet…. She couldn’t help it. The woman was a little crazy after all…
Freya had him fixed with an almost fiery look, one, he would recognize as jealousy, as he finally seemed to remember she was there. ”You love it, huh?” It was a trick question, sounding innocent, but the woman expected one answer from him. One, that, hopefully he was smart enough to figure out.
She continued giving him that dangerously jealous look, like she’d melt the weapon if he showed it that kind of affection again… Which she probably would. She wasn’t above declaring war on his weapons after all.. ”Right, okay. Do they have super suits to, or just regular ghosts?”

Rory had a dream once, long ago, that he woke up and was in a place completely filled with every weapon man had ever created, and some that didn't even exist yet. In the dream there were countless ways he could kill, and better yet, he was surrounded by enemies to kill them with! It was about the closest thing to an erotic dream Rory had every had, and the best part was, now it was real! Not only was he surrounded by weapons of war, but he was in a base filled with people to kill... It seems dreams do come true! Before he began singing "When You Wish Upon a Star", he snapped himself back to reality.
The question that Freya had posed to him was simple enough, but there was more to it than that. As innocent as she tried to make the question sound, Rory could see the jealousy in her eyes. Apparently it was so evident that Delilah herself could see it because when she fixed Rory with that deathly jealous look, Delilah turned toward Freya and whirred angrily; targeting her as an enemy. Rory immediately stepped in front of the gun to block it's aim from Freya and prevent a cat fight...
This was one of the more ridiculous situations he had been in, his girlfriend was jealous of his affection toward a gun, and said gun was jealous of Rory's relationship of Freya; and he was now standing between them to prevent a fight. While not in the top ten weirdest moments of his life, it was definitely a good number fifteen or sixteen.
"Of course not alainn, I jus' like ih as much as a woman would like her shoes, tha's all." He said with a soft grin, Delilah whirred sadly behind him and turned away. Rory glanced behind him with an apologetic look, but quickly began walking down the aisles toward a door at the opposite end of the hall, motioning for Freya to follow.
Occasionally, as they walked along, he'd grab a gun and holster it. A gun here, a dagger there, a rifle here, a sword there; in a few moments he was beginning to look like a walking weapon once again. "Well, it's less of they and more of a what really. The general's bodyguard is just a single entity, but sometimes there could be thousands of them... Just keep them busy." Rory said as he began moving closer to the door. If he remembered right, the clone production facility was just on the other side.
"A'Right, once we go through this door, I really dunnit know wha' may come after us... Jus' stay as close to me as possible a'right? Any questions?" A sudden ominous feeling filled they air, as if they were about to step into a situation that they would never be able to turn back from. If Freya thought the Pit was bad, this was going to be one hell of a ride...

Oh, Freya knew how stupid she was acting. But honestly, she couldn’t help it. Rory showing affection to anyone but her…. Just the idea angered her. Even if it was an object! Really, Freya took jealousy to a whole new level…
But what was even more ridiculous then her jealousy? The fact that the automated gun seemed to realize she was debating destroying and was actually targeting her. Hah… Freya dared it to. It’d give her a reason to justify melting it. Sadly, Rory ruined this plot by stepping between her and it. Damn…
Freya fixed Rory with a hard look as she waited for his response. When she heard it…. The woman seemed to calm down a little. ”… Good.” Somehow she managed to miss the look he gave the machine before trailing behind him with her hands stuffed in her pockets, still a little irritated.
”What, so he makes copies of himself or something along those lines?” It was probably a very vague description, but at least she got the hint. ”Don’t worry, you won’t have to worry about them.”With how flamboyant Freya was, it wasn’t all that hard to get, and keep, someone’s attention…
An eyebrow raised at what he said, not really sure what he meant by that… But if it was worse then what they’d already gone through, maybe she’d wait for him back in here…. ”…. Should I be worried?” Was the only question she really had. None the less, she nodded.

Rory couldn't help but grin slightly at how irritated he was by the affection he showed the gun. Could she really blame him though? It was an automated, four barreled, gatling grenade launcher! It was a little machine of death and destruction, it's only purpose in life was to kill and to kill a lot of people at once. It was as Rory's favorite passtime had been transformed into a weapon just for him. Sadly, it seemed their relationship would never come to be because of Freya... It was hard to tell what was more sad, that Rory was having extreme attraction to a gun, or that Freya was jealous of said gun... They were both insane was the only logical answer.
"Something like that..." Rory said hesitently, she had the basic idea down... Oh well, she'd figure it out if she met him. Either way, he had no doubt that if anyone could distract the bodyguard(s), she could. Afterall, subtelty had never, ever, been in her vocabulary.
Should she be worried, Rory paused for a moment. They were about to fight the general, in a suit that was meant for fighting and killing omega level mutants, along with a bodyguard that could become bodyguards, inside a base full of an infinite number of ghosts, deep underground, with Darkside on his way no doubt, "Uhh... Nah." Rory said with a slight grin and opened the door and stepped inside.
He had been right, it was the clone production facility. Almost as far as the eye could see, there were thousands of tubes filled with teal colored liquid. Each tube was about seven feet tall, and there were several stories to the room. There was the level Freya and Rory were standing on, then there was another below them, and another below that, and another below that, and two levels above them. Each level was filled with these tubes. Slowly Rory brought a rifle around and held it loosely in his hands as he stepped out onto the walkway of the level they were on.
As the got further into the room, it became obvious that there was something inside the tubes. Not something, but someone floating inside the liquid in a fetal position with several tubes and wires hooked up all over them. Some of them looked like blobs of flesh, but as they got further into the room they became more developed. Soon, most of them inside the tubes were obviously human in appearance. Rory stopped in the middle of the catwalk and leaned close to one of the tubes, the person inside looked... exactly like Rory.
"Damn... This is a good lookin' army." Rory said, his voice echoing across the empty room as he admired himself... or rather... himselves...

Something like that? Great… That didn’t reassure her at all. It meant she’d be in for quite a few surprises when they actually find the General and his bodyguard. Well…. There was one good thing about not knowing near anything about the bodyguard. She wouldn’t get bored halfway through the fight… Hopefully… You never really knew with Freya.
Freya stared intently at him as she waited for an answer to her question. When she got one, she smirked a little. ”You don’t sound that sure.” Oh well. At least they were in for one hell of an adventure.
The next room….. If it was possible, Freya’s jaw probably would have hit the catwalk. It was absolutely… freaky. What the hell was this place?! Her mind was almost numb as she followed Rory deeper and deeper in. Unable to help herself, her gaze focused on the tubes. Something was… in them? The farther they went in, the more human these shapes became until….
Freya came to a stop, eyes wide as saucers. One of the Ghosts had looked a lot like Rory, but this…. This was a…. a… clone? She was beyond shock. ”Rory… Is there something you failed to mention…?” Her voice was quite, barely even a whisper. Honestly, she didn’t know what to think of this…

It was a little over twenty years ago that Rory had been caught by the agency, which was just starting back then. They forced him into their numbers, breaking him in the Pit, then began training him as one of their own soldiers. They soon realized that even without his mutation, Rory was a specimen of perfection. He was fast, strong, resilient, and all of that came naturally and was only enhanced by his powers. After only a little bit of training they soon came to the conclusion that none of their soldiers, none of their men, could beat him. He was a machine that was built for the singular purpose of war. So the next step was inevitable.
The Agency used Rory like an assassin, to capture and kill the most powerful mutants and bring them back for research and study. Basically, he was a hunter. However, it soon became apparent that if Darkside was to complete his goals of creating an army that could rival the entire world, he'd need something better than armor enhanced humans... So, taking strains of DNA from Rory, and removing the x-gene, they began creating vast amounts of clones. These clones would soon become some of the most elite soldiers in the Agencies arsenal, trained by Rory himself. They would be called Ghosts.
As Rory stared at the clone floating inside the tube, it all came back to him. If it hadn't been for Rory, none of this would have ever happened. Darkside may be leading the agent forces, but Rory helped him create them, now he had to kill them. Though, one thing he didn't remember was the clone production area being this... massive. It looked as though Darkside had been a busy little bee in Rory's absence...
The sudden sound of Freya's voice behind him caused Rory to jump ever so-slightly, if that showed just how deep in thought he was. Slowly he turned to face her and leaned against the railing so that his fully formed clone could be seen floating right behind him. "Forget ta mention anythin'?" Rory asked with a raised brow, glancing at all the tubes, then back at Freya, then over his shoulder at his visible clone, then back at Freya again, "Not tha' I can think of... nope... I got nothin'. Why?" He asked with an honest curiousity, as if it was an everyday occurrence that you walked into a room and found a warehouse full of your boyfriends clones...
After a few moments, the door at the far end of the facility opened and a figure could be seen entering. Rory immediately raised his gun, but didn't fire, as the figure was very calmly approaching them. As the figure got closer, a blood red suit of armor could be seen covering it. Obviously it was the general, but the way it was walking, it was almost as if it... Wanted to talk to Freya and Rory...

Rory…. Was a bonehead sometimes. To be so oblivious…. It was moments like these that made her wonder what had made her fall for this thick skulled man. Forcing herself out of her shock, she scowled, giving him a dirty look. ”Really?” That dirty looked turned to a ‘why are you so stupid sometimes?’
Sighing, she shook her head, fished a hand out of her pocket and pointed at the tube next to him. ”That. I don’t recall you ever explaining to me that you had clones.” She planted the hands on her hips now. ”So? Excuse me for being a little confused. I didn’t actually expect to find who knows how many copies of you.” Her tone was a little dangerous, actually demanding some sort of an explanation from him. Rory would know then and there that not giving her an answer would result in very bad things…
Sadly, Rory was, quite literally, saved by the bell. The last person she’d expected to show up was the General himself. But there he was, calmly approaching them. Rory didn’t attack though. Which…. Aggravated her. The enemy was right there! Shooting Rory a dark glare, she glanced back at the red suited man as he approached, still glaring. ”Come to surrender?” Taunting probably wasn’t the best idea right now…. But she wouldn’t be Freya if she didn’t.

It wasn't that Rory was trying to be dense, he honestly wasn't. It was simply that fact that he saw absolutely nothing wrong with a massive warehouse full of his clones. Sure, it probably wasn't an everyday occurence but come on... This was the agency, the more insane and terrifying something seemed, the more common place it was here. This wasn't some day care center after all. So with that in mind, it was obvious why Rory didn't understand her confusion.
When she pointed at the tank behind him, he glanced it, then back at her, "Oooh, these old things?" Rory said with a shrug as if talking about a pair of old shirts, "They're what make up the entire Ghost army... Long story shor', Darkside though' I had an amazing body so he decided ta make a million more o' me... Can ye blame him?" Sure he was being sarcastic, but now wasn't really the time to get into that long, loooong, explination.
As soon as the general entered the room though, everything changed. The entire mood turned on its head and everything became tense. Though Rory wasn't firing on the general, he did tighten his grip on his gun. When Freya spoke, Rory was incredibly tempted to "palmface" as they say. Then again, that was Freya's style. It never occurred to her that sometimes, you should just keep your mouth shut... Especially with the general, taunting whoever wore that suit was like calling a tiger fat; you just didn't do it...
Still there was absolute silence except for the metal on metal of the generals footsteps on the metal walkway. Suddenly, the suited figure stopped about thirty feet from them, keeping enough distance so that things weren't uncomfortable or more tense than they were already, but close enough to strike should anything happen. Then there was silence for a few moments, the only sound being the bubbling of the thousand tanks in the room.
The generals suit was blood red, but that wasn't what was eye-catching about it. At first glance it looked much like any other ghosts suit, but now that it was closer you could see that it was much more sleek; like a hyper advanced version of the ghost suit. It was smooth, aerodynamic, and very alien in appearance. Something even more strange was that it was... attractive? That was the only word that fit, it was much like looking a sports car, it just looked good...
"Your arrogance is a weakness Elensar, so is your bold anger, you strike and talk before you think. Had The Director not given orders to take you alive, you would have been dead days ago." The suit spoke out in a cool metallic voice, similiar to what Rory's suit was like, but with a different... tone, a softer tone.
Slowly the alien head of the suit turned toward Rory, "As for you Rory, I am very surprised to see you back here. I have to admit, when the Director said you would be coming back I half didn't believe him." It was obvious that there was a history between Rory and the general.
"Glad ta see MY suit fit's ye, bitch..." Rory said with a sneer.
"Yes, I was good before, but now my powers are at superhuman levels that even you cannot compete with Rory." The suit spoke calmly.
"Righ', so tha' would make ye... Super bitch... Sounds abou' righ'..." Rory said happily, for not wnating Freya to taunt the General, he was doing a poor job of defusing the situation.
"Are you still sore about the last time we talked? I've gotten over it." There was a bit of silence as the general glanced toward Rory and Freya, as if waiting for one of them to speak, "What... Have you not told her?" Suddenly, the general took another step forward into the light and the helmet on the suit retracted revealing a very beautiful woman.
The woman shook her head slightly as the helmet retracted, shaking loose long, raven black her that contrasted against her bright blue eyes. Soft lips and features graced her face, giving her the appearance of an almost unnatural beauty, but behind her eyes there was an unmistakable cruelty and hatred. There was an aura about her that would send chills of fear down a grown man's back...
She glanced between Rory and Freya, "So tell me, how does it feel to be his second?" The woman asked calmly in a strong British accent. She smiled coldly as she let the words sink in...

You know, Rory really should have warned her they were clones. Sure, it wasn’t ‘need to know’ information…. It would have just made this whole thing a little less awkward. ”Hm….” She was silent for a few moments, before a smirk touched her lips. ”Good thing we’re going to destroy them. This world is only big enough for one of you.” She didn’t like the idea of other Rory’s running around….
The General’s appearance ruined her mood. Or, what was left of her good mood. It only made it worse that the General called her out on her behavior. She actually twitched as the words sunk in. For a strange moment though, she’d shut up, a little surprised by the comeback. And in those moments she was silent, the General had gone on to address Rory…. Who was probably going to make this whole thing worse. Which was fine with Freya. That is.. Until the freak looked at her again.
What happened next was a little unexpected…. And by a little, Freya meant a lot.
The General, who she’d always assumed was a he, was actually a she. A very beautiful, but cruel she. And from what she had said… She and Rory knew each other. That smirk of hers had vanished long before. Suddenly though…. It was back…. And just as cold as the General’s. Which… Rory would realize was never a good thing. ”I can see why he never mentioned you before now.”
Of course Freya was stunned by the sudden knowledge that Rory had been with this woman… And was instantly furious. Freya didn’t just hate the idea of him being with other women before. She’d try to kill any woman that openly admitted to being with him. And being face to face with one such woman… She wasn’t going to let the woman get the upper hand. And… Rory would probably pick up on the sudden murderous intent coming form her….

Seeing Cassandra, or The General, as she was known to the rest of the agency brought back memories that Rory had preferred to stay buried. It wasn't long before he had met Freya that he began to break free from the brainwashing of the Agency.
When he did, he immediately began planning his escape. On the night he did it, he had told Cassandra to meet him outside of this very base for a moonlight dinner. She showed up, of course, but Rory didn't. Cassandra would find out later that Rory used that time to kill well over twenty Ghosts and make his escape out into the free world.
Darkside punished her severely for letting Rory escape, but in the end, she got a reward bigger than could be imagined. Darkside gave her Rory's suit, which he had left behind, turning her already dangerous abilities up a notch or two.
Rory used to be the commander of every ghost squadron, now, it seemed as though Cassandra had been promoted to general. Fitting, considering it was HER that trained Rory how to fight... Quite the turn of events it all was, it bored him to think about it. It was all like a soap opera... a soap opera with a lot of blood and people dying... In otherwords more like an action movie...
Rory couldn't help but grin as Freya snapped back at the general. Her tongue, more often than not, was a lot more fierce than her powers. In fact, sometimes the things she said stung a lot worse than any burn ever could. Though, he was hoping she wouldn't draw attention to herself, it would be very bad if Cassandra decided to fight Freya instead of Rory. Because if she fought Freya, she'd kill her.
"You better put a leash on your dog Rory, before she bites off more than she can chew." The woman said coldly, honestly, Rory didn't want to be hear right now. The closest thing he had to an 'ex' meeting his current girlfriend, and both were pissed... Yeah... not the best place to be right now.
"Regardless, I've been told to give you a message Rory. Come back to the agency willingly, and Rory won't kill you... or her." The woman said, shooting a glance toward Freya that practically shot venom.
Rory was quiet for a moment, as if thinking deeply, "How abou' this... Blow ih ou' yer arse, yer head is mine." He said as he pointed directly at her.
"You were always an amazing fighter, and very good looking Rory... But you have the intellectual humor of a five year old." The woman coldly snapped at Rory.
"...You smell funny." Rory retorted as his 'comeback'.
With a movement that couldn't be followed by the naked eye, a blade flew through the air and slammed directly into... Rory's crotch. Rory immediately doubled over in pain, letting out a grunt as he grabbed the knife a pulled it out, "Tha' was naughty..." Rory said through a pained whisper as he stayed bent over in pain...
"Looks like your boyfriend won't be able to shag you for a while princess... Oh yes, we saw it all on camera... I'm very sorry, he used to be a lot more fun in bed with me." The woman seemed petty at first, but Rory knew exactly what she was doing. She was trying to taunt them both into losing control of their emotions and attacking blindly, Rory wouldn't fall for it... Freya on the other hand, well... He referred again to the warhead terminology...

Oh, this woman was getting under Freya’s skin. And everyone in the room probably knew it. It wasn’t that bad, but it was obviously warmer the closer you got to Freya. Not that bad, but yeah, just warm enough for you to notice. ”I think you should listen to your own advice.” Her tone was sweeter this time, but somehow just as cold as before. Yeah…. Serious cat fight. Rory was thinking the right thing when he thought here wasn’t the safest place for him.
Speaking of Rory… He had some pretty silly comebacks sometimes, which probably made her love him more. It was just funny. That knife though…. While Rory just tried to shrug it off…. Freya was about ready to attack. And then, the woman just had to add that. Freya snapped.
A huge fireball, the size of a person, was hurled across the catwalk and straight at the woman. And Freya? Freya had a murderous look in her eye. Sure, Rory had warned her not to attack the General carelessly… But damn was she mad. She couldn’t help it… It was a reflex, honest!
…. At least, that was her excuse if he ever scolded her about it.
None the less, Freya looked ready to throw another fireball at the woman, but held herself back. ”Rory…. I didn’t know you dated a Voyeur. That’s a little creepy.” She really did sound like she wanted to attack again…

As the fireball tore through the cool air of the warehouse, Cassandra raised both of her hands up and the massive fireball looked as though it simply funneled into her hands; leaving her untouched. So much so in fact that not even a single one of her long, black, hairs was ruffled. Her hands glowed slightly for a moment as she placed them on her hips in a mocking manner. It was as if she hadn't even been phased by Freya's attack at all, in fact, it was as if she had planned it the whole time.
"Like I said, you attack before you think. Fine, you both want to play that game, let's play. Simone, get rid of the Elensar, me and Rory need to talk." Just as the generals helmet began to cover her face once more, the catwalk underneath Freya exploded; dropping her to the next level unexpectedly.
Rory jumped slightly and immediately looked over the edge at Freya. On the level below them he could see a man standing only a few feet in front of Freya in a dashing silver suit of armor, "Oi, alainn... The bodyguard I warned ye abou', tha's him, his name is Simone... Whatever you do, DO NO-" Before Rory could even react, something hard and very fast slammed into his ribs and rolled him down the catwalk. Cassandra had attacked him, and immediately rolled off of him, landing between him and the exit.
Down below, the bodyguard didn't wait for Freya to come to her senses, he immediately lunged forward with a flying knee attack, attempting to slam his knee into her head and end the fight as early as possible. Up above, things weren't going that much better. Rory and Cassandra began circling each other on the cat walk, like two dogs both fighting over their territory.
Slowly, Rory slid a morning star off of the sheathe on his back. Why a morning star? Because nothing could make you feel better than bashing your enemies head in... Cassandra withdrew a single, thing, dueling saber and attacked. Seemed as though Freya and Rory couldn't catch a break, if they made it through this one alive Rory would begin wondering if he had the superpower of insanely good luck...

….. That….. Was unexpected.
What the hell just happened exactly..? One second the woman was about to be confused by the inferno, the next, it was gone. Freya was scowling, frustrated by the whole thing. The attack hadn’t even seemed to be a nuisance to the woman…. So. Frustrating!
She didn’t have much time to fume though, because the catwalk under her was suddenly gone, sending her plummeting down the level below. Landing on her feet, she was just about to fly back up, when she saw…. A silver blur rushing her. She didn’t even have time to swear, as she leaped and rolled out of the way, narrowly avoiding the attack. There was one good thing to this whole adventure of theirs. Before it all? Freya wouldn’t have been fast enough to avoid the attack. Slowly but surely, she was learning.
Like her attacker, she didn’t waste a single moment, using her sixth sense, she hurled another chunk of raw fire towards the man. ”Don’t do What?!” Why was it, that Rory was always yelling ‘don’t dos’ when she was in a fight, and never finished them? He’d made a habit out of it…. And it was starting to irritate her.
You’d think she was just looking for things to be mad at. (She was.)
