((Rose's cohort ONLY!!!!)) Cohorts. Rose’s cohort. four, troublemaking students, who reported directly to her for training. Absolutely fantastic. She got to spend a couple hours babysitting students, kissing their bo-bos, praising them for the stupidest things- Yeah. Right. Not in a million ways. The students unlucky enough to be in her cohort would get absolutely no mercy. At all. Poor students. Too bad Rose felt no sympathy for them.
When planning her lesson, a few questions had crossed her mind. What did she want to see them accomplish? What was, and wasn’t, she willing to do to get the lesson across? Thank god one of these questions wasn’t ‘will they like me?’. She didn’t give a damn if they did. She wasn’t teaching them to be liked. She was teaching so they didn’t do something stupid and get themselves killed. And she’d do whatever it took to teach them that lesson. To hell with being liked.
Anyway, Rose sat inside the Danger Room. Alone. With a sheet of paper and a book. Yes. That’s right. A book. A novel, actually. Strange, how she had a chapter book when she was supposed to be teaching. It made you wonder just what she had in mind. Either way, she’d been reading said book for about ten minutes, and none of her three were here yet. Who were they anyway? She already knew about Alucard because… Yeah, he’d been half requested, because of his…. Emotional problems at the moment. The other two though. No idea.
Seeing the names, she had two reactions. First, she had no idea who the girl was, but recognized the name instantly. Milena. Interesting. The second…. ”… The hell?!” Administrations was playing cruel joke on her…. IT was at that moment the doors to the Danger Room hissed open.

It'd been a crazy few weeks at the mansion. Between the random fires, snowball fights, a girl throwing him across a garage, another girl running from him, being the only one who ever seemed to be out with the horses (and constantly trying to get them to buck and they never would...), it was all a lot of fun. He was still getting used to a lot of things, like being a mutant out in the open, but he was really starting to like this school. Already, he'd had several other mutants with similiar powers show him a few tricks that he could do with his unnatural strength (like open any door).
James was currently down in the gym, working out... Or at least, his kind of workout. Lifting weights was always his brothers thing, he was working out his... other talents. Sure, he was curling a little iron, but only to flirt with the couple of girls that were in the gym with him. Suddenly the gym door opened, "James West, you're being called to a danger room session with your cohort leader, go now." The person left without another word, apparently they were with the administration...
With a loud thunk, he dropped the barbells he was lifting in either hand, gave a wink at the two girls, and made his way to the danger room. Up until now, all he he'd only ever heard of the room, and seen the doors to it as it wasn't far from the gym. Though he seemed very calm, in all honest, he was a little nervous about what was going to be waiting on the other side. The nervousness grew as he got closer to the door, eventually standing in front of it. Well, he always loved a wild ride, and from what he heard, this room could give it to him.
As soon as he stepped through the doors, all traces of a nervous mood disappeared when he saw who was standing inside, "Heh... Hehe... Hahahah..." He started laughing, what were the odds, really? The irony of it all was just too great. He took a few steps forward, closer to Rose but giving her a respectable distance; this was the first time they'd even seen each other since the day in the garage, "Well, how've you been gorgeous?" James asked with a slight grin, coming off far more flirtatious than he intended. This was going to be one very, very, interesting session and either very hard or very easy depending on how her mood for him was... Considering the last time they saw each other she threw him across the room, he wasn't banking on it being easy...

Rose wasn’t happy. She had that good for nothing flirt (She really didn’t hate him, she was just on a roll). This was bad. Now, not only would she have to deal with a cousin who thought the world was out to get him, but she also had to deal with all his advances. Well, at least she could put him through hell every time he did something stupid. That made her feel a little better about it.
Speak of the devil…
There he was. Major flirt, James West, the first in her cohort to arrive. Well, this was great. She’d be alone with him until her cousin and the Milena girl arrived. And…. He was laughing. A dangerous look crossed her face. ”What’s so funny?” Oh, she knew what…
”You shouldn’t address you’re teacher as ‘gorgeous’.” Her response was sharp, harsher then James had probably ever heard from her. ”In here, I deserve a little more respect. Or you get another flying lesson.” She paused, smirking wickedly. ”And, between you and me? It hurts twice as much to be thrown around in here than in a garage.” It was a serious, serious, threat. Rose was the dictator in her group. She wanted absolute control, and no nonsense from her students. (To her. She didn’t give a damn if they went after each other.)

"Oh, you know exactly what I'm laughing at... Seems fate keeps putting us together." James said with another slight laugh. Seriously, what were the odds of James ending up as Rose's cohort? This was either going to be one of the best sessions ever, or one of the most miserable, but either way James wouldn't be able to stop himself from laughing at the irony. Though, it seemed that Rose didn't find it all as funny as he did, come to think of it, it seemed like she had been avoiding him intentionally since that day in the garage. Looks like there'd be no more running now...
Though, she definitely wasn't acting as embarrassed as she was that day. Almost immediately she snapped at him, causing his laughing to stop but that charming grin was still on his face, "What? Because I call you gorgeous that means I don't respect you?" James said with another grin, "Don't get me wrong at all, I definitely respect you." For once there seemed to be some... Honesty in his voice, perhaps he was really telling the truth.
Slowly he glanced over his shoulder at the door, making sure they were alone, before looking back at her, "So, why haven't I heard from you?" A slightly raised brow accented the question, "Been avoiding me for some reason?" Yes, he was calling her out on the fact, but more, he wanted an honest answer. He was definitely still attracted to her, but more as a challenge than anything else. She was the ultimate prey in his eyes... Largely because he knew now that in this game, the prey actually fought back...

Vivi was annoyed. Sparks flew from her skin, somewhat like those from a fireplace. She had been having a pleasant nap, incense burning slowly in her room for a good-mood-inducer, just to have it all shattered away by a rough and unpleasant knocking on her dorm room door. She thought it might've been somebody recruiting for their club or whatever, but when they called and refused to stop after a few minutes, she ended up just getting up anyways. It was apparent that there was no way she was going to be able to stay in bed any longer.
The girl sighed, her footsteps still leading her toward the danger room. She had never been inside of it, and had rarely seen it. Even when she exercised, she liked to be outside where there was lots of air rather than cooped up in a building. Vivi didn't really know what to expect of the room, nor what the rest of her cohort would be like. For a moment she hoped that the other students wouldn't be completely useless. She took a deep breath, noticing the sparks herself. The sparks stopped. She didn't want to go to their first meeting and be all riled up over nothing.
Vivi reached the room, door already open. The two inside looked like they were talking, so she walked into the room quietly, not wanting to interrupt them.

Post by Alucard Nightshade on Nov 4, 2011 16:01:09 GMT -5
Alucard was sitting in his room reading a book written in German when he suddenly heard his name being called to go to the danger room for class over the intercom. He quickly closed his book and stood up. He knew who would be teaching him, because his cousin Rose had told him she would be his cohort leader herself and 'advised' him against treating her like family while they were in the cohort. He frowned slightly as he walked over to his closet. He knew his cousin well enough by now that if she was holding her lesson in the danger room, then whatever they were going to do would be painful. He was also sure that he would get 'special' treatment from her as well, so he was going to have to make sure that he brought along a first aid kit.
Alucard had changed into his training cloths and headed toward the danger room. He was getting strange looks, but that was because he was walking down the hallway shirtless and only wearing a pair of shorts, and his sandels that strapped up his legs that resembled something an ancient spartan would wear. He also had his satchel across his shoulder with his first aid kit, two bottles of his special blood restoring liquid, and the book he had been reading in it.
Alucard found the door to the danger room open. As he walked inside, he saw that two other students were already here along with his cousin and one of them was talking with Rose. He had barely taken three steps inside, when a sharp pain suddenly began to race through his body especially around his stomach. He clenched over and held one hand over his face as he moved his other hand to help keep his balance by pressing hit against the wall. He wasn't sure what was going on or why he was in such pain, but it took everything he had to not scream out in agony from the pain.
The pain last for several seconds before it finally passed. He was panting heavily by the time it left. He stood up straight after moment and looked over toward where everyone else was at. His eyes were a blood red color and his upper canine teeth were both longer then they should be for several moments as he just silently stood there before suddenly turning back to normal in the blink of an eye as if nothing had happened at all. He wasn't sure what had happened, but he just hoped that it didn't happen again during Rose's lesson.

Rose was more than a little annoyed that she had James in her group. The flirt was going to make her life hell. Good thing she could get away with everything short of murder in here... It almost made her grin sadistically. If he thought being thrown into a wall was bad, he'd seen nothing yet. Ignoring all his other comments, she gave him said smile. "I thought you'd want to settle in before having to go through any more mental and, or, physical torture." Poor James.. Being grouped with Rose. He was going to wish he hadn't by the end of today.
With out even looking she raised her voice. "Lurking in doorways will do you no good. Come in." She assumed this was another one of her students.
And then, finally, her very own cousin showed up. THey were still one short, but this time, she at least gave him a glance.... Actually, she gave him a second glance, because... Honestly? He looked like an idiot. Both eyebrows raised in a 'Are you serious?' sort of way. ".... Mr. Nightshade, why are you dressed like a Gladiator stripper?"
If that weren't enough, he had to go and have a little mental break down right then and there. "And keep your power in check. Lose control again, and I'll consider you a threat to the other students." She looked at James and the girl, who was either Vivienne or Rylee Ann. "The sames goes for both of you. All three of you have powers that can prove very dangerous if you lose even an ounce of concentration."
Snapping her book shut, she set it and the sheet of paper on the ground as she stood up from her chair. "We aren't going to wait for the last person in our group, so this is everyone. Get away from the door now." With out waiting, the doors hissed shut, almost violently, and if anyone looked to see why, they'd spot a batch of dark matter slowly disappearing, revealing the controls that had shut the automatic doors. "They won't open again until we're done, or one of you tries to kill the other. We'll see what happens first."

"Surely you've figured it out by now, the rougher it is, the more I like it." Once more, the sexual undertones were blatantly obvious, and James said it all despite the feeling that the more he flirted the harder she was going to make this. Oh well, it was just his nature, not like it was something he could stop. Before he could say anything else though (which was probably something Rose was thankful for), his new 'teacher' cut him off and addressed someone who had entered that he hadn't even noticed until now.
It was a red head, she looked a little perturbed about something, but then again she was a woman... and a red head no less. So it wasn't like he was too surprised. "Lookie here, I'm not the only one to get rounded up into Rose's little shop of horrors. How's it going? Names James." He said with a nod to the woman, before the doors opened behind him again and a young man stepped in.
The man looked as though he was roughyl James' age, but looked as though he'd just stepped out of a gladiator arena. James leaned back a little and his jaw dropped ever so slightly in confusion, "Welcome to the pit Maximus." James said, his brow still raised slightly at the strange man. A slight grin spread across his face at Rose's comment, apparently she had the same disdain for the outfit as he did; and quite the crude, yet, witty comment. Normally he only came up with those...
As the doors closed and Rose began to explain a little of what was going on, James whipped his head toward her, "Wait a second... You mean I'm locked in here with Spartacus the stripper until we run your little rat race or he tries to kill me?" James asked as he pointed a thumb at the man before glancing back to Rose, "Can I have a rape whistle or something before we start?" He asked with a serious tone, it was becoming very obvious very fast that James was going to make this poor boy the butt of his jokes for their duration in the Danger Room. Then again, no one ever accused him of being a 'nice guy'.
