A Birthday Bash to Remember (Open)

Its our birthday, we need to celebrate!

Dalacur grinned that fanged grin as he walked down an alley of that big city. Screams and wicked laughter echoed through the alley and down the blocks around it. Yes it truly was wonderful. Embers floated through the sky as buildings burned around him.

It all started only hours before when Dalacur crawled into a few human minds. They wreaked havoc upon the city and it was amusing. The city blocks were being rampaged as looting started while the other people he wasn't controling had joined the mob mentality.

As Dal stopped at the end of that alley he noticed the SWAT vehicles starting to show up.

Ah the calvary

"They're going to ruin all of my fun." Dal smirked before he released his control of those handful of people. The rest of the mob was enough to let the police deal with them. But now that they showed up it was time to cause more trouble. He remained at the exit of that alley with a good view of those men in riot gear.

He selected one of the men and had him drop his riot shield, raise his gun right up to his own head...

Alex was at the music store buying some scores as far as she saw it today was a good day so far the store was having a sale and she was able to get the scores she wanted along with an cd of some of the music and a new pick.

She was on her way home when she stopped in a small shop to just window shop for a bit when it all seemed to happen people started screaming at each other and taking things Alex not knowing what to do hid under one of the shelf that had been knocked down and didn’t move until people started to clear the store a little because the store had caught on fire.

Once she was out on the street Alex looked around what had gotten into everyone they where acting crazy Alex was trying to find the best way out of hear at lest where she could start heading back to the mansion in a somewhat safe way the subways where being blocked and it seemed for blocks this riot was going on.

Alex almost cheered when she saw the SWAT team knowing that they where going to stop all this mess before anyone else got hurt that was untell she saw one of the men raise his own gun to his own head, Alex eyes grew wide with fear Alex didn’t want to see anyone else die infrount of her.

“NO! stop it” she screamed as load as she could and her powers decided to help so everyone could hear her voice over everyone elses that was going on.

“Some one stop him, life worth living I promise it may not feel like it sometime but trust me this isn’t the worst thing that can happen out there”
Alex yelled holding tightly to her bag hoping that something would get threw to this man and he wasn’t going to kill him self over a riot.

And the poor girl was about to be traumatized again. Just as she made that scream for help, the whole SWAT team looked at her. Then they drew their weapons pointed at her for a moment, just enough to scare her until they turned the gun onto themselves. It was a loud crack through the air as each gun fired and that particular SWAT team was dead. Too bad really.

Oops...

Dalacur could almost be traumatized if he wasn't chuckling to himself. Humans were so easy to manipulate. Just a few manipulated nerve endings in the brain and boom, they kill themselves for you. Not to mention the simple little anerism that could drop the whole city in an instant. But he wasn't that cruel, or was he?

Then suddenly the overwhelming urge came to him. Dal slowly made his way up behind Alex, being far taller than her he looked down at her smirking with that fanged grin. "You really shouldn't interupt people. And in all honesty...they weren't worth it."

Bite her...taste that sweet young blood and leave her to rot in the street.

There was that temptation now. Just one little bite... No. She tried to save people just a second ago, it would really be cruel to just kill her too. Wouldn't it? While his mind was conflicted, that smirk remained the same with animalistic yellow eyes peering into her very soul.

Alex tensed when they all pointed their guns at her she was going to get shot what was wrong with everyone right now, she was trying to think of a way to get out of there when all of them went and shot them selfs, Alex screamed and held tight to the books in her arms.
As all the men droped down Alex felt like she needed to puke she backed up a little bit before she herd someone behind her talk to her. She looked up at him her face pale from seeing all the blood. The man said they weren’t worth it but they were people everyone was worth it everyone had some right to live that was unless they caused the death of others in inhuman ways. “They are people everyone has the right to live there lifes but…..but……” she looked back at the bodys of the men who all just died before quickly turning away she was going to have nightmares for the next little bit that was for sure. “why did they all do that something wrong something not right hear people don’t just do that on there own free will” Alex was starting to shake she didn’t know who this man was but this was the only person that even had talked to her once the fights started maybe they could get out together.

The mayhem around them continued, sirens calling from all around as they echoed through the streets. He'd be surprised if the news hadn't already caught word about his little celebration.

"There is no such thing as free will little girl. Take some psychology classes. Free will can destroy the world." It was true, if free will actually existed then anyone could do anything they wanted without consequence. While Dal would certainly gain a few consequences for his actions, little could actually hold him back. Very little.

"But you want to know one thing? I do have free will." Those yellow eyes almost seemed to glow as he grinned to her. It might have been the most wicked grin she had ever seen but before she could retreat he hand his hands firmly on her shoulders. In fact, he may have even been holding on a little too tight. Super strength was hard to control sometimes, not that he cared.

Ohhh please bite her...we haven't fed in so long.

It was only a few minutes ago..

Exactly!

His grip tightened ever so slightly more as he tried to fight off that urge to rip her throat out. He'd certainly regret it later but now...he could practically smell it through her skin. It was taunting him.

Alex looked at the man when he said that no one had free will and that she needed to take some psychology classes, NO people did have free will to do what they wanted yes there was the way the world had formed it self for what was normal and people where programmed to do some things but no one was controlling them like puppets that what made the human mind so wonderful.

She was about to let out at him about this when she saw the evil grin on his face she then got a feeling she needed to run and get out of hear as fast as she could she hadn’t seen a smile like that for a long time and she knew that it was never a good thing when people did smile like that. Before she was able to move his hand was on her shoulder she winced in pain and almost yelped trying to get out of his grip.

“Let go” she yelled. She looked at him he was stronger then a normal person so he had to be a mutant. Alex did the only thing she could think of at the moment to even try to get him to let go. She made it look like she had disappeared right before his eyes and he wouldn’t be able to feel her in his grip anymore.

Alex closed her eyes trying to ignore the pain in her arm knowing that if she thought about it her illusions wouldn’t work she had to get out and know one near by was going to help her out hear.

Aww why'd you let her get away?

Don't be such a fool

A snarl came to his lips as she vanished before him, but his arm didn't move. "Silly girl, just because you can disappear doesn't mean you aren't still here." Granted he still could have been wrong...he didn't feel her... But just to see if he was correct in his assumption or not, he drove his knee forward to slam into her stomach, if she was indeed there infront of him still.

Hmm turning invisible is one thing, but if she can make us think she is invisible. We may just be introuble.

Could always scramble her brains a bit. Can't make illusions if she can't think.

Dalacur winced slightly as the arguement ensued within his head. They were having quite the hayday today weren't they? Why couldn't they take a break and be quiet for once? At least that dog wasn't barking its head off this time. He hoped they would shut up soon, it was always hard to think straight when they were on tangents like this.

Alex was sure for a second that he was going to let go that everything was going to be fine and she just beable to run off call someone at school and they help her if someone else was hear she may have been more willing to fight but with just her self she was scared to death.

“Ow” Alex yelped as his knee went into her gut as soon as it hit the illusion disappeared and Alex was visible again. Alex looked up at the guy droping her books to the ground she needed out of hear and fast and that what she planed on.

Alex stugled to get free form him and even tried kicking him a few times she wasn’t going to get kidnapped again this year. Alex looked at the man “Let me go now or ….i’ll…” She didn’t know what to say she chouldn’t hurt him with her powers with out hurting herself and then there was the fact that she really didn’t know how to use her powers to help her self other then to just hide yes she could make him see something but…then she see it to the down of her power she had to experice everything that her victims did. Alex kept trashing she needed to get out of his grip even if it ment breaking her arm which she didn’t really want to do.

He almost growled as he released her arm from her frantic flailing.

You let her go! Why did you do that?

"Vile girl, just run off before I decide to slit your throat and leave you here to rot." He sneered at her fiercly. But maybe he acted that way for her own good. Last thing he needed was another power or another voice in his head. And how he wanted to do it. Wanted to taste that sweet copper taste of the liquid life running through her. He felt his muscles tense with that familiar urge. Was the blood lust getting worse? He usually didn't need to feed this often. Maybe it was just the girl, so sweet and innocent, certainly her blood should taste the same.
"Go!" Dalacur practically barked the word at her as he tried to restrain himself. He took a few steps backwards.

What? Don't let her go!

You wuss, you just let the girl go. Didn't have the guts to take a little bite. A little sweet taste. Would have just been a snack...but you probably couldn't stop could you? Monster...

He clenched his teeth shut, trying to block out the voices. It seemed like they never stopped...

Alex steped back as soon as he let her go almost falling down from throwing herself around so much. She looked at him when he said go she didn’t need to be told twice that it was a bad idea to stay with someone who wanted to slit her throat.

She turned and ran her hart pounding in her chest until she ran into the riot again this hole place was a mess and she wasn’t getting out anytime soon until some ALIVE police officers came that wouldn’t shot themselves or somehow the riot stoped on its own. Alex looked around and climbed up on a wall so she could see a little past where she was on the ground. She looked back to wards where the crazy man was no seeing them hopefully he didn’t want to play hide in go sneak with her and this was just a game, she could see some sick minded people doing that.

Alex closed her eyes for a second taking in all the sound around her the feeling of the warm air do to the fire and the smell of the smoke and the city that was being destroyed before she opened her eyes and looked down at the riot making all the shops that they where standing in trying to still form disappear. For the Riot and anyone in a mile form where she was the city wouldn’t be seen hopefully this was enough to calm everyone down and have them go home.
