Learning to be different (Vampira, open)

Plot - nix is in the danger room working on her powers after school hours. Vampira walks past and hears nix inside and walks up to the observation deck to watch nix and nix comes out and we get down to teaching you how to use your powers*

Nix walked down the corridor slowly with her hands in her black combats and her coat hung over one of her arms and her dark grey t-shirt hung loosely off her. Nix smiled as she slipped in to one of the other hallways and walked down through the off limits x-rooms and then paused outside the danger room and then grinned and slid through the door and heard it slid shut behind her. She walked into the middle off the room and bent down and untied her shoes and then slid them off and then peeled off her socks and slipped them inside her shoes and then wrapped her shoes in her cost and slid it to the side of the room as the machine began to whir as it started up the fighting programme.She dipped her hand in to her trouser pockets again and took out her black leather fingerless gloves and slipped them on to her hands and curled her hands in to fists and gave a dark and mischievous grin as a room began to appear around her as the danger room loaded up

Vampira was in her combat boots, black mini skirt and black tanktop and was talking a tour of the school, just waling along the hallways. This place reminded her of a military baset hat she fery faintly remembers from somewhere. She was in her true 4 armed catlike form, but also woke a long trench coat with a hood. the hood was pulled on her head and her lower pair of arms where crossed. the wallked smelled so metallic for her. She heard a faint humming sounf and entered the room that she hears it from. It was like she was in a cocpit of an aircraft... screens, buttons and dials everywhere. there was a mikerophone hear the middle and a large window there. She went over to the windo and froze in shock.
There was a huge metal room there that was sprouting a complease terrain and simular and a girl was standing there. She would see the wild smile on her face. What was this crazy room?!... how did it change into smething else? She knoked on the window and showed the girl that she needed help on finding her way around. She would take a close look at the wild room. She left the room and walked towards where she gruessed where the rntrance to the huge room was. She suddenly found herself in a dead end with massivle metal doors... she walked up to it ans as they ovened she was inside the room. She was even more shocked... the place smelled like it was an actally landscape... she stared around the place and then finally at the girl.

The room sprang panelled Walls and a smooth wooden floor and nix looked around herself and them stood up straight and rolled her eyes ,"really? The mansion? You have to be kidding me..." she muttered in an annoyed voice and then looked over at the door way and sighed ,"very original" she called out and then the noise stopped and she was in the same corridor she had just walked down. It was dark and the windows showed the moon gleaming in the night sky and nix nodded ,"very nice, now what the mission and what am I fight?" she muttered and rested her hands on her hips and looked around.


She heard foot steps above her and looked up at see another person, who ever the female was it seemed she didn't know about the room or was confused at least, nix was only 16 herself but she had been a the mansion for about two years now and had been using her powers since she was only 11. Nix raised a gloved hand and waved to the other female and tapped her head in a slight salute and smiled up and her as their was another whir and basic holograms started to appear in front of her, not in form and only looking like blank figures for the moment

Vampira smiled at the girl still very confused and then involontarily vaved htih both of ther left hands. She looked down and then grew der from embarasement and pulled her coat tigher over herself.
She looked at the cute girl with her yellow eyes and then struggled to speak.
" What... this... room? " She uttered ounding like an evil demon or something. what happend to her vouce ws something she could not remember... then motioned to the girl and then to herself and then motioned around the room. She wanted to do some fighting too... but she did not know how to. She then showed the girl her talons on her hands and then tilted her head in a question. Vampira then motioned again at her and the area. She wanted to know if the girl would allow her to train with her. She turned away and firts pulled back her hood revealing her blak furred medium sided catears and then slowly took off the whole coat, exposing her long cat tail that was sweeping the flor and twiching slightly. An then her black smybols on ther back and then her tow pairs of arms. Wehn she turned aroun she was even redder from embarasement and did not look into the girl's eyes. She was always wearing a gold choker and a dog tags with on with only her name and numbers on them. She did not know why.

Nix tilted her head to one side and smiled at the other girl and then curled her hands into fists and closed her eyes ,"if I scream, don't worry, it's normal" she said with a small smile and then brought her hands together near her chest and closed her eyes. Her shadow leaked out from her curled hands and wrapped round her back and nix dropped forwards on to her knees and the sound of ripping fabric filled the room. Nix felt her eyes water as the skin on her back ripped open and huge black feather wings forced themselves out from her back and through her t-shirt, Blood soaked through her shirt and dripped down her back and nix screamed in pain and clawed at the wooden floor as a small forked tail forced it's way out from just above her trousers where her tail bone was.

She felt the pain die away in moments and she panted on the floor for a moment and then forced herself up on to her feet and held out a hand to the other girl and then tipped forwards ,"one, this is the danger room, it's a room the loads mutant training programmed and two, I'll happily train with you, I just need a moment to soak up a little more life energy" she said with a small grin as her tail flicked behind her and her wings beat very gently

Hear ears and head jerked as she heard the scream forcing her to cover her ears. Then she smelled something really sweet... she smelled blood. She took a deep sniff and then closed her eyes in cleasure... the smell of blood smelled so good to her...when she opened her yes she grew starteled and froze in place from surprise. The girl had huge beutifull black wings and a demon like tail... she was really nice like that... she was wierd but had something really beutifull about her. She smiled wiedly and heached out shaking the girl's hand. She could not help looking at her... she was beutifull. She nooded as she heard that she neets a bit of time to get herself together and waited patiently once again sniffing into the air taking in the great smell of blood.
She then suddenly smelled something very sweet and it made her nose tickle... she felt a sneeze comeing on and turned away... her sneeze was far more powerfull then any human's but it felt natural to her. How could she sneeze like that or why?
She suddenly had to sneeze again... trying hard to hold it back but it came out with even greater power.

Nix beat her wings gently as the blank holograms around her began to shift and change shape in to what ever the programme had decided she would be fighting ,she never got the chance to do team work programmes as people never liked her or her power and so she was never picked to do danger room sessions with others. This was her first ime in the room in about three months and she had only got in as she had come after hours so it didnt really count, she turned her head and looked at the other girl and gave her a freindly smile and then curled her hands in to fists again and looked around.

The mansion floor had a red dot on it that moved around back and forth and nix paused and titled her head to one side and had been about to move forwards when a second appeared. She looked over the floor and watched as about tewnty diffrent dots began moving across the floor and then she hissed ,"laser sights" she muttered and looked at the other girl ,"sniper guns with darts, dont let yourself be hit or you'll be knocked out by the drugs" she called over to her

She grew wied eyes as the 20 laser points that where closing in on then. She remembered something simular. When the troops started firing the darts, she acted on instinct. Like she already knew how to react in this situation. She started moovieing and hoping and fliiping. She grabbed the girl's arm and they ran along the hallway. She stopped for just a second and looked around. She could use her suoroundings. She saw a marble bust of an old guy and took it off the stand. She then tossed it towards the troops with all her might. It hit and injured several of them and slowed several more of the enemy down. Vampira also took the wooden stand, useing it as a makeshift shiled. She was spinning it and deflecting several rounds that where airmed at her. All this while she was in constant motion. Suddenly she was hit in the arm and the neck. She let out a yelp and pulled out both darts in fear. In a second she felt pretty dizzy but after shaking it away, she was not dizy anymore.
She looked at the darts and tossed them at the enemy, letting ou She once again toop the girl's hand and they ran some mort a catlike hiss. She suddenly stopped and listened. She could hear there breating and there movements. They where close.

Nix felt the other girl grab her hand as the holder of laser pointers came into sight. They were wearing all black camouflage suits and each held a gun and a taser in each hand, nix felt herself being pulled down the corridor by the other girl but she soon let go of her to start fighting and nix took her chance, she beat her wings down and shot up into the air above the attacked and and trust her arms out towards them. Nothing happened for a heart beat but then two lines of dark purple shadows shot out from no where and blasted into two of the men and they were thrown back against the wooden walls and didn't get up, nix gave a dark smirk and slashed her hand across the air and seconds later her shadows followed her hands movement and cut straight through one of the men and he fell to the floor in two bits.

Nix looked back at the other girl and her eyes narrowed as she saw a man come up to the girls back and nix hissed and flicked her hand out towards him and a bolt of shadows shot through his chest and he dropped the ground only a hands breath away from the other girl and nix nodded and then something shot past her wing and she turned back to focus on the men who were trying to get her

She was worried as she watched as Nix killed the troops. Suddenly, Nix cut the person in half. completely stunning Vampira. She looked at the blood splatted on her body. She stopped and looked at her blooded hands. She suddenly froze. Vampira remembered a situation EXACTLY like that... suddenly she had an unbarable pain in her head and ears. She dropped to her knees. She saw that she was in a wintered forest and was figting Weapon X agent... she rememberd that... the figher that was mercilessly massacering them was not somebody else... it was HER! She then was in another situation she was being cornered by an animal... a wolverine. As she looked into the eyes of the raw fury ,something inside of her snapped... she wanted to just rip it apart in fury... she let out a snarl and ran towards it.
In a second Vampira's eyes shot open and was back in the DR. She felt a sting in her arm... and then her eyes went from yellow to fully black. She let out a yell as her soul was filled with rage and anger and limitless courage. She let out a scream that resembled Brian of AC/DC singing. She then ran at the nearest troop and without hesitation, slashed at his neck, and then with the same motion kicked another one in both knees, breaking them.

Nix paused in flight as a wave of sleeper darts shot up towards her and she beat her wings down hard to send the back down towards the men, the wave dropped on the men who had shot at her and they dropped down to the floor ,unconscious in only a few short seconds. Nix lifted her head to look up to the roof of the mansion and saw that the windows had been blacked our and she nodded to herself and then called back to the other girl over her shoulder with out turning her head back ,"these are pawns, they are going to fast and to easy, there's going to be something big coming soon, watch your back" she called out and an dart shot past her ear as the glass above her shattered.

Nix cursed and flicked her hand out to the man who had shot the dart and pulled and she shot forwards at him, he lifted his gun to shot again and she turned her wings up and caught his neck with her tail and pulled up straight and a crack filled the air as be dropped to the ground dead. A huge metallic ball dropped from the shattered ceiling and nix cursed again ,nearly all the men who had joined them firstly were dead or unable to fight but the other girl was on the opposite side of this new thing to her, and nix knew they'd need each others help now

Vampira was sunfused but was still killing the troops. Where did her memory come from... what was she?. Who where the enemy weapon X agents. She suddenly felt a wierd urge to step away from her current position and fhe took 3 steps backwards. She suddenly heard a cracking sound and then a second later a huge matalic ball dropped from the cieling, smashing into the ground. She flipped backwards in surprise and let out a yelp as the noise was too loud for her. the wooden debris and splinters was practically raining on her but she did not care. All the dust was too much for her and she was choughing a lot and chocking at once. She shut her eyes and waited sor the dust to settle some. she waiting like a minit and then opened her eyes and just as she smiled to herself she felt a sneeze comeing on. She tried holding it back but the sneeze came out. stirring the dust and smaller bits of wood again. Vampirasneezed 5 more times. And then notised that the dust was practically cleared from her area. She looked at the huge metal ball and studied it. She had not idea what they would do now.

Nix looked over the ball as it hissed and something shifted in side it and it clicked, one side of it made a whirring noise and there was another click and nix found her self muttering again, "just get on with it and come the hell out and try And flicking kill us so we can destroy you like every thing else" she hissed aggressively. The side thst had come out towards her clicked again and a long metal cord stretched out from deep in side the ball and then formed a leg and it tilted it's self up slightly as it tired to stand. It made the same clicking and whirring sounds again and she saw steam come out from the other side and geysers that another leg must have been coming out near to where the other girl was standing alone and with out help.

She muttered darkly and then beat her wings down and shot into the air but a small gun flicked out from the top of the metal leg a shot a bright red laser in her direction and nix dropped back to the ground again and growled in pure anger ,"I just want to be there in case she needs help" she roared in anger

Vampira heard Nix say something and then metalic glanking and whirring. She then heard Nix scream and she jerked in pain as it was wy too loud for her. She watched as steam shot from her side of the metal thing and then it opened. She backed away slightly and waited for something to happen. She then saw moovenent and a large metal robot got out from inside the ball. She stared at the size of it and figures it about 15-18 feet tall. The robot was more then 3 times her size making her back up some more. She listened for more troops that might be comeing, but after finding no sound, she turned back to the robot. She saw a huge fist come towards her and scazy speeds and doged it in time. Vampira, let out a yelp of fear, as she was almost hit. She was pretty surprised by her own speed. No ordinary human could have dodged that punch. She then jumpled away from another pounch that made a nice dent in the floor. She then looked at her hands again. By now the blood has dried and vondered how sharp her talons where. She ran at the robots legs and slashed at it with both of her right hands. She ran a few more steps and then turned back to see the nice slashed marks in the metal. She smiled to her self and waited the robots next move.

Nix heard the sound of ripping metal and nodded ,clearly the other girl had some sort of weapon or power she clueless use to fight the over grown tin can. Nix folded her wings in close to her back and then pressed herself against the wall and closed her eyes, she hissed in pain again as her skin ripped open and the huge feather wings were pulled inside her and blood dripped down from the open wounds, nix's dark grey t-shirt now had long red lines marking where her skin had opened but the worst of the pain was over and she could still stand which was the important bit.

The blood was sticky on her back but she had needed to get rid of her wings, they were too big and too much of an target for the laser zapping robot. Nix stepped away from the wall and wobbled slightly as her blood flow got running again and as her system got used to their lose of wings and then straightened up and pointed her hand and palm at the robot. She flicked her fingers slightly and shadow reached out from her hand and wrapped around it's metal body and nix nodded ,"take a shot" she called out to the other girl as she felt her powers draining
