As he drug her to store to store Nick was shocked she had spent hours trying on things,. Most of the stores seemed the same to him. Bags, necklaces, bracelaces, ear rings there where a few things that stood out at some of the stores but mostly it seemed the same for him Nick wanted to get something for Chris but he couldn’t think of what to get her When Chris was in side one of the stores something finally caught his eye that was in the store right next to it Nick slipped in and got it asking for it to be put in a box togh the owner of the shop gave him an odd look when he did ask Nick just said it’s a present and he gladly put it in a box before Chris got out of that store.
At another store something else caught his eye why Chris was shopping Nick had found some little turtles in a shop he knew they were illegal because they where to small but looking at the poor things made Nicks hart sink, he had to get one and the school rules said nothing about a pet being to small and these little guys would never get to big he could put it in his room he could get a tank on his way home latter and right now the little guys where so small that he didn’t need large tank he could keep them in a plastic tub until she saved up enough money for the. The shop owner saw him looking them over and tried selling 3 to him as much as Nick wanted to take them all home he knew how unhealthy it was for them right now but there was no way he could buy them all and with that many he didn’t know where to put them all.
Finally Nick caved and got one it was one of the larger ones so it was almost legal to buy it came with a little container it was still to small you couldn’t tell if it was a girl or a boy but it was worth Chris dragging him around everywhere cause he was able to get something out of it. Zoya was not to happy that he had gotten a new friend she had sniffed at the thing all ready once and sneezed on it to prove she was not happy.

*Cris was, to put it bluntly, having the time of her life. She was with her big brother, and she was running all over China Town, shopping…with her brother! Buying bags, necklaces, bracelets, ear rings, scarves, shoes, and whatever else caught her eye. She had the biggest smile she on her face that she has had in hears. Every store seemed to offer something different in each sore, all of them different from when she came earlier. She noticed Nick moving to a different store. But that didn’t bother her much. She would check out this store and catch up with him after she was done, if he hadn’t caught up with her first. But the met up again shortly after she left that store, with another bag in hand. She noticed that in another store something else caught her eye. This helped Chris think that it wasn’t just for her, but for Nick as well.*
*Chris saw the thing that Nick wanted to buy, and also saw Zoya’s dislike. But as she was looking something caught her eye across the way. She waited for Nick to buy his little creature and then she grabbed his arm, dragging him across the way to a small buffet. She hadn’t eaten much today, she was planning on eating during the long trip back, but all this moving around was making her hungry.*

When nick drug her to yet another shop Nick rolled her eyes a little making sure that his little turtle was not bumped and scared to death and the other box that he gotten was not ruined. But when they got to this store Nick eyes lighted up, Food. Yes he could deal with a food market very much so you can’t get bags, ear rings, and other girl crap there he’d never say that out load to Chris but besides the turtles there was nothing that caught his eye.
Nick smiled was big when he saw all the different types of food some of it was questionable and nick was going to stay way form but most of it looked pretty o.k to eat and it can’t be as bad for you as a new yourk hotdog.
Nick grabbed a plate and started pilling food on his plate form what ever looked good to eat some peaces of sushi, noodles, a few dumplings, some rice until his plate was full if not over filling a little. He was a boy he needed to eat and this was a good day so far and an All you can eat beffet only made it better for him.

*Chris hardly noticed Nick’s annoyance with her dragging him around. She was just having way to much fun to stop now. But she did, in fact, notice how happy Nick was when he saw the food. Seeing her brother instantly go for the food she went to the desk and paid for a buffet for two people, her and her brother.*
*Joining Nick at the food she filled her plate and found a sitting place. She had some peaces of sushi and a good portion of good looking and tasting noodles. She giggled, seeing all the food her big brother had on his plate.* Have I run you so ragged that you’re now starving? *She joked. She knew that he was a boy, and most boys ate lots. No matter what age they are. She started to eat her food and gave an “mmm” sound, showing her appreciation for the food. Eating what was on her plate she stood for seconds.* I’m going to go and get some more, don’t get up and disappear on me. *With a wink she went and began to put plently of other food on her plate. It all looked so good. She even grabbed one or two questionable looking things. Sometimes the worst tasting things tasted the best.*

“What this is only the first plate, I’m going to eat tell I can’t move anymore ha ha” Nick smiled at his sister when they sat to eat Nick happily ate what was on his plate Zoya keep bumping her cold nose on there legs to try to get food form them why the other to boxes sat under Nicks chair.
Nick smiled when she said that she was going to be back in a few, Nick caved and gave Zoya a piece of pork at lest he hoped it was he herd that some places in china town liked to serve dog, he really never wanted to eat dog and he didn’t want to feed his dog, dog either. Nick looked down at the box with the gived that he he’d gotten Chris he didn’t know when he wanted to give it to her, he knew I shouldn’t be in the box long he knew that much about what he gotten her, but he also new that with everything else Chris would have a hard time caring it to store to store so I might be best if he weighted until she was done shopping he just prayed that she didn’t see the same idem and get it.
Nick finshed up his plate and weighted tell Chris got back he didn’t want to leave Zoya alone in Chinatown nor the turtle no one was going to be eating turtle soup or Zoya stew on his watch today. Nick did notice that Chris was grabbing some of the more questionable things that nick had turn down because they looked nasty and he didn’t know what they where all he could really think was good for her for trying something Nick wouldn’t

*Chris laughed at Nick’s comment. She looked down as she felt a little wet nose on her leg. She laughed a little bit, seeing the little creature begging relentlessly. After getting her second plate she came back to the table. She was so excited to try some of the food that she had grabbed. But she looked up from her food, with almost a sad look on her face.* Once we finish up here we should go to maybe one or two more stores. Then I should start heading back. While there was still daylight left. *Chris was more awake when it was day, and she didn’t like to travel too much during the night. She wanted to get a good head start before the sun went down.*
*Wit that thought she started to eat what she had gathered on her plate. She looked back up to her dear older brother and gave a big smile, after swallowing her food.* Is that ok? *She still was trying to figure out if she should tell Nick about her boyfriend. He was her big brother, but he was probably going to take on the role of father for now too.

Nick sighed when she said that she was going to have to go after this he new it that she have to go sometime but it just didn’t seem like they made up for all the time lost “Kay I understand, you wouldn’t want your friend worried about you anymore then she already is” Nick stood up “I’m going to get one more plate and then we can go”
Nick filled his plate just as full as before and then sat down eating his food as Zoya tried so hard to get some more food from the two. Nick looked down at Zoya with a stern look to tell her to knock it off seeing the box for Chris with the corner of his eye he sighed and bent down and picked it up and held it in his lap trying to figure out if he should give it to her now or latter he drummed his fingers on the box then looked up and smiled at her and handed her the box “Hey Chirs before we have to say good buy I got this for you” he carefully handed the box over the table making sure not to bump it to much to her, what was in it was a small little bonsai tree it came with a small card that said how to probly care for a bonsai tree and it also stated that it was a shaken style bonsai/ Chiu. Juniper he had no idea what any of that ment he just new that it was a tree and hopefully she’d like it.

*Chris nodded. Yea she wouldn’t want “her” to worry. She chuckled a little bit, knowing that her worried friend was a boy not a girl. She nodded, that sounded like a fair thing to do. She ate her food as she waited for him to return, not quite finishing it, yet. She smiled at the extremely full plate that Nick brought back to their table. But while he was gone she noticed a table of boys checking her out. They all looked around sixteen and seventeen. Much to young for her…wait…they wouldn’t think that. Chris gave a heavy sigh before Nick returned to his seat.*
*She saw his smile and the box, wondering what was in it. She was shocked, surprised, wondering what was in the box. She quickly moved her plate aside and opened the box, but carefully, she did notice that he was taking care to not bump it to much. She saw the small tree. Her face lit up as she looked at the tree. Seeing the directions for the care of the tree and put it in her picket. She would read that later. When she had a chance, and wasn’t busy with her brother.* I love it Nick! I don’t have one of these yet!

Nick smiled real big when she said that she didn’t have one of them yet to him it wasn’t much it was a tree that grew wired but she like that kind of stuff Nick new that she’d take care of it better then anyone else that would get the tree a million times better then he would anyway. “I’m glade you like it” he smiled even bigger when she said she didn’t have one, Yes nick did something right, she didn’t have a dumb little tree plant bonsai thing what ever it was called. He knew that he could never pick out a necklace that she like but a plant yes he could do that. He scarfed down his food in full delight very prod of himself. The last few scraps he gave to Zoya expect the small peace of raw tuna that he gave to the little turtle still unsure what to name the little guy.
Nick looked around and saw some guy who where checking out Chris well more like lusting after her you could see it in there eyes they just taught she looked good they didn’t care about her as a person that came latter. Heck it was how most men taught about it Nick hoped that Chris would never fall for anyone like that but then he guessed that most guys where like that to some level. Once his food was done Nick stood up and picked up the little box with the turtle and Zoya leach and smiled at Chirs patting his now full tummy “ready to go you said you still wanted to shop a little before you where heading back home right” he smiled yep today had been a good day.

*Chris loved to see her brother smile so big. When she saw the look on his face she could only smile, her brother still knew her well. Chris had always been fascinated by plants and gardening. Come to think about it it was almost the perfect time to guarden outside. That made her happy. She had almost finished her food so when he started to scarf his food down she finished off what was on her plate and waited for Nick to finish as well.*
*Little did Chris’ big brother know that Chris had a boyfriend of two days. Well it was longer now…but they had only been on two dates. But he was so much fun, and fun to play around with. He was also a wonderful kisser. That was important. She smiled at Nick who was now standing up. Standing up herself she picked up the sweet little bonsai plant. Holding it in her arms she picked up her purce, or rather bag, and the other shopping bags.* Alright let’s get going then. *As they left the buffet Chris drug Nick to three more stores then the two started to head back to the subway. Chris had told Nick where her care was and she was sure that he knew how to get there, that was faster than walking*

Nick went to the other stores trying to look like he was having fun for his sister, when it was over he actually was a little upset that it was over already, they hoped on the subway when Chirs stated where her car was Nick told her that the quickest way was just to keep taking the subway until you get to a street about a block form where she had parked and then walk he was more then happy to take her to her Car carry anything that she needed carried for her.
When they got to the car lot where her car was and to her car Nick looked down at his sister with a small smile, helped her pack everything in her car once everything was in he looked at her again put down his stuff and gave her a big hug.
“Hey Chirs drive safe” it was odd to think that Chris was driving now but she was old enough she even looked old enough he let go of her and smiled “your going to keep in contacted this time right” he narrowed his eyes a little his smile giving him away that he new already that this was not going to be the last time they saw each other he wasn’t going to let that happen.

*Chris too was a little sad that it had ended so soon. But she knew that she had to head home. Chris had given Nick some of her bags to carry. She had gone a little over board, but she did pay for everything. They got on the subway and talked all the way to their stop. Chris placed her items into her car and put the bonsai in the front seat so it would stay safe during the drive. She accepted Nicks hug and squeezed him back. They stayed in that hug for a few minutes, then Chris pulled away, not really wanting to.* I should get going. Thanks for everything Nick. *When he let her go she moved to her car door and opened it. He seemed concerned about keeping in contact. She giggled a little bit.* Of chores, you have my number. But I should warn you that I rarely answer phone calls.
*She could tell that Nick was worried about it, but she knew that they would see each other again. Maybe even in Canada. That would be great. She started her car and rolled down her window. Waving at her brother right before she drove off.* Oh yea, I almost for got to tell you. *Chris smile widened.* I have a boy friend. See you later big bro! Love you lots! *She then started to drive off, almost fearful of what he would say or do with that knowledge.*

“Kay I’ll keep that in mind I’ll text you my next time up or you text me next time your down hear Kay” he smiled as she got in the car it was still odd to think that she was driving it just didn’t seem right for little Chris to be driving. He waved at her and said good by and that she had a boy friend “Yea see ya love you….waight you have a”
“You have a what” Nick stood there his eyes wide open almost flying the car up in the air but then seeing that there where a few people around he didn’t need to scare them by turning off gravity or just making it lighter. Chris did that on purpose not telling him Nick hart had stopped a little he didn’t know this guy, was he a mutant if he was, was he a Runaway if so how easy could he lose control, how old was he there where all these things that he didn’t know and they where going to get answered Chris had driven off by the time the shock wore off and he wasn’t going to text her…yet asking but he was going to get the answers form her soon even if he had to pin her to the cling and tickle her to death to get them form her.
After a few moments Nick bent down gave little Zoya a pet on the top of the head sighing “o what are we going to do she’s such a trubule maker” the little dog licked Nick and he smiled and laughed a little “she is dead when I see her next I’m going to get her back for this” he grabed the leach and the little turtle in his box and started walking home.
