Alucard had entered through the large metal door and was walking through the place at a pace faster then he naturally could. The door had been heavy and locked, but neither of those meant much to Alucard since he was keeping his powers in a constant state of manipulation, which also explained how he was moving so fast. He wasn't sure what he would find on the other side of the door, or even cared for that matter. His mind was focused on only two things: finding Claire and slaughtering everyone involved with her kidnapping and imprisonment. He would have noticed that the place was narrow, designed to look like an insane asylum but built to allow the guards to defend against attacks coming from the hallways. He was moving far more silently then should have been humanly possible. He noticed when he came to the first cell with the tall blonde girl in it that the locks on the doors were electronic and required a card instead of a regular key. Whoever had designed this place had made sure no one but the one with the card could get in or out of the cells.
Alucard was looking at the lock on the door, when one of the guards suddenly appeared from a room farther down the hallway and seemed shocked to find Alucard standing there. The guard was a woman, which was surprising since the gang did not take on many women or at least not many survived the 'fun time' of the male members, and she looked to be about 23 or 24. She walked over to Alucard with a cautious guard up. She frowned as she got up to Alucard.
" Are you alright there young man? Did you get out of your 'room'? I haven't seen you before, but you might be from another section." the woman said to him. " You must be confused and lost, so I should take you with me. I swear I would never have run away from home and joined these guys if I knew I would end up here and doing this kind of thing. Never mind that though, just follow me and I'll find out from the doctor where you need to go."
Alucard silently followed the woman towards the guardsman room. He slowly looked around once he had gotten inside it. The hallways were designed so that they all branched out from the center guardsman room and were all straight and narrow as the one he was in earlier. There were two guards to every hallway, and six hallways total. The air around the guards was different then the gang bangers in the area before the hallways though, they were trained and disciplined while the gang bangers were not. Most of the guards seemed to be in the room, with the only about three guards out in the other hallways. He wasn't sure which ones they were, but he didn't need to know.
The woman ended up bringing him before an older man, who seemed to be in his late 40s or early 50s. The man was wearing a white lab coat and was in a small area full of beakers, vials, and other equipment. He was messing with some liquid and set it down and turned to face them when he heard them get close. He looked at Alucard and didn't seem to even notice the woman who had lead him here.
" What do we have here? A blood covered young man with, red eyes? Well this certainly is a fine new play toy you brought to me." the man said is a voice that didn't even show a hint to hide the fact he wanted to experiment on Alucard. " Where did you find him at?"
" So your the doctor then?" Alucard asked before the woman could say anything. " And that would mean that you have the card to the doors?"
" Yes, to the both of your questions." the doctor said to him. " But what does that have to do with anything?"
Alucard didn't even wait to give a reply before he simply removed the man's arms and legs. The female guard wasn't sure what to do and was just stunned by what he suddenly did. The other guards went to pull their guns and fire at him, but as they got their guns ready to fire, they were cut down. The female guard backed a few steps away and was about to pulled out her gun as well, but Alucard just sliced her head off before she could even get it out of the holster. He walked to the limbless doctor and began to search his person until he found the card to unlock the cells. He stayed bent down over the doctor and manipulated some of his blood into the man's torso. His wounds stitched over and the bleeding began to quickly stop, but as that happened, the blood he left inside began to strike at places that would cause a high amount of pain but not kill him. The pain that the doctor would feel would be unthinkable and his screams of agony echoed through out the entire place.
Alucard stood up and took the key and searched through every cell in every hallway, and to his misfortune and dismay, he found the one Claire was in last of them all. The guards that were left didn't see what happened to them coming until it was already too late. The people in the cells that could move either went and got their friends that could not and got them to safety, or simply ran for it without taking the time to help the others.
Alucard unlocked Claire's cell and found her on the floor. He bent down and gently picked up her up. She was burning up with a fever and had a look of extreme pain on her face. He was moving at full speed out of the place before he even realized what he was doing and had passed the last of the kidnapped people on his way out of the lab. He only knew of one place he could take her to for help, the institute, but it would take time that he did not know if he had with her. He feared for the worst, but that only caused him to move even faster and to push all everything to it's limits: his speed, strength, stamina, and his own mutation.
" I'm getting you some help Claire, so stay with me and don't give up. You can't give up on me and you can't lose to this. Your a strong girl who does what she wants and doesn't let anyone get in her way. I don't know much about you, but that I do know for fact." Alucard said to her in a voice that was both soothing and paniced. " Just stay with me Claire!"
Alucard keep talking to her the entire time he was on his way to the institute. His voice went hoarse long before he had gotten close to the institute, but he never stopped talking to her once the entire time.
