Night Wolf was laying in a bed out cold. He had passed out from the effort of getting that girl Alex back to the institute. He had known traveling that far with her was going to wear him out, but he hadn't given himself enough time to fully recover between travels. He was just laying on the bed with only his underwear on, he had pushed the covers off as he had thrashed around while out. His right arm was covered in scars randomly thrown all over it and his torso was riddled with scars almost of all of which were centered around every spot that someone could attack for a fatal blow. He looked like a mess, his skin pale and a thin sheet of sweat covering his body. He had gotten a high fever for some reason due to the side effects of him over-using his powers.
He had calmed down and was just laying in the bed now calmly asleep. Anyone could do anything they wanted to to him right now and there was a good chance he wouldn't wake up. He had made some growling, yipping, and barking sounds while he was asleep.

James entered the infirmary with a look of concern on his face. It had been a couple weeks since he had hurt his arm near the Danger Room, and it still hadn't healed properly.
It was however getting better. What had once been a large black bruise along the extent of his forearm, had now calmed into less disturbing colors. Right now his arm was a mixture of yellow and red for the most part, with only one small subsection stubbornly clinging to black.
Unsurprisingly his arm hurt quite a bit when he attempted to do anything strenuous with it, thus leaving activities like weight training, and the mysterious Danger Room out of the picture, much to James chagrin. For the most part he had been wandering the halls and observing students(keeping any sign of injury invisible to all who looked at his arm), trying to get a sense for what this place was really like, but, that was boring now. He needed to be active again, or he just might die of boredom.
After being looked at by some nurse, and being given the 'sucks to be you' assessment, he left the doctor's with no real applicable advice, except for 'maybe put some ice on it' ya he never thought of that one before.
On his way out he heard what seemed to be loud whining coming from a room by the exit. Curious as to why a wounded dog would be here he took a look inside, only to find a man sweating profusely and breathing heavily. The guy looked really messed up, to say the least. Picking up the chart at the end of the bed, James noted a passage highlighted and circled at the bottom, 'Side-effects from mutant abilities most likely the cause of condition'.

Night Wolf was still making canine like noises as he now began to move around on the bed. He has having the nightmares now. They always found a way to him when he had over-used his shadow manipulation powers. Normally shadows were would be a nice and friendly thing to night, but when he had the nightmares they changed. They became twisted and vile things that always seemed to be whispering what you feared most and they always played out scenes of what was the most horrifying things that you could possibly witness, like a demented shadow puppet play. Night had dealt with the nightmares before though when he was younger. He did his best not to listen to them and ignore their twisted little plays as he walked around in the vast emptiness that was the shadow plane. They usually ignored him when he went through, but when he brought someone else they always took interest in them and he had to absorb some of them into himself. It seemed that having taken this many in caused him to have the nightmares once more.
He had calmed down again finally and had stopped making the strange noises, only because he coughed up some blood on the bed sheets. His body was being tormented as much as his mind by his new little visitors. Who knew how long it would take him to recover from the damage they inflicted this time.

James studied the chart carefully....not that it did him much good. He knew little to nothing about medicine and medical technology, let alone experimental mutant physiology. His concentration was broken by a distinct hard hacking cough coming from the patient. Lifting his eyes over the clipboard he realized to his horror that the man was coughing up blood. His fresh dressings began to be dyed red as the copious amounts of blood began to soak into them.
James hesitated....only for a second he found himself at a loss for what to do, then he came back to his senses.
"NURSE...NURSE!" The clipboard dropped to the floor with a clang as James dashed out of the room in search of anyone who could help. Going down the hallway he glanced into each room calling for help has he jogged. Eventually he found the nurse who had examined him a moment ago.
"Nurse the patient in the room near the front of the infirmary is coughing up blood...!" 'Oh dear...' was her only response as she scuttled down the hallway towards his room, James following in tow behind her.
The nurse took a green paper-like handkerchief from the dispenser on the wall above the man's head and began to clean up the blood that was pooling slightly at his chest. Once she was done she took his vitals and blood preassure, and then turned on the vitals monitor next to him.
James watched and paused for a second as she had evidently finished. "That's it...? Aren't you going to do something? He is probably bleeding internally, he could die at any second! James said, his voice a mixture of outrage and confusion.
"I am afraid that is all I can do hun. You never know every mutant is different, you could kill them just by trying to save them...besides I'm not really trained for this sort of thing...The real doctors and healers are busy running tests on this man right now so that we can determine what's wrong with him and how we can help him."
Her reply seemed genuinely caring, and James believed that she was honestly doing the best she could, but this didn't really stop him from being concerned. "Well could you stay around here please?...In case I need to find you again." "Of course deary..."[/b] she said without looking at him as she made a note in the man's charts and scuttled out the door.
Already emotionally exhausted and wondering what he got himself into, James collapsed into a cushioned chair next to the bed and watched the man as he lied there.

Alice had felt someone leaving the shadows earlier in the day, but hadn't dared to leave her darkened room until later in the day. When she finally did leave, she searched for the source. She wasn't sure what it had been, but when she finally came upon the Infirmary, the last place she'd been willing to search, she recognized it immediately. Huh... Night.
Even more interesting, James was in the room as well! What was he doing there? Did he somehow know Night? Well, didn't matter. She was more interested in wondering why Night was unconscious in the school's infirmary.
She didn't even say hi to James as she approached the bed, he'd probably go into shock if she had greeted him. Instead, she stared down at the unconscious man for several moments, before scowling, as if expecting him to wake up right then. With out any sympathy, or regard for anyone else in the room, even if they did protest, the whole bed was sent tumbling over, the shadows beneath it leaping upward to topple the object.
There, she waited, ignoring everyone else still, as she watched Night, head tilted slightly.

Night Wolf hit the floor hard, causing him to cough up some more blood. He could feel what had happened even in the nightmare and he noticed something strange, the shadows seemed to have stopped for a moment as if they heard someone calling out to them. He didn't wait for them to go back to normal before he left the nightmare by doing something like a mental traveling. His eyes began to slowly open as he came back around. His entire body felt as if it had been beaten to a pulp, ripped to shreds, and was on fire. The first thing he saw as his eyes stopped blurring so much was the blood he had coughed up onto the floor. He began to lift himself up off the floor weakly and wouldn't have managed to get into a sitting position with his back against the toppled bed if not for sheer will power. He looked around himself slowly and noticed he was in some strange room with three people around him. One was a guy he didn't know and the other two were Alice and Alex. He knew they had said some stuff to him, but he didn't come around enough to understand them.
" What did you say?" Night asked in an extremely weak voice. " Whats going on? Where am I at?"

"Are you alright?" James said getting up from his chair finally beginning to take in the circus around him. It was an impulsive statement to make, and a dumb one at that. Are you alright? of course he wasn't alright he was nearly dead bleeding on the floor...and not in the good way, if there was such a thing.
James walked in front of Alice facing the injured man and offered a hand to him in a half kneeling position. "Here I'll help you up." He glanced back at the pair of unintelligible girls behind him. "One of you go find a doctor, a real doctor, and one of you help me get this bed back up before he bleeds to death on the floor in front of us.
You know things use to be simple before he came here wishing for a new 'experience'. Doctors were doctors, peoples' physiology was all the same, and students (at least most of them) were not ridiculously insane unique, and interesting individuals. Things were predictable, things made sense. James sighed as he realized he left that world behind, and he better get use to this cause there was no going back.

All that rambling....
Alice slowly looked at the younger girl, a completely disgusted and horrified expression on her face. It wouldn't shock anyone, what would was the fact that she didn't turn on the girl right then, or at least send her tumbling out of the room. ".... You should shut up." Well wasn't she blunt today? Usually she might have put it at least a little nicer.
Her attention returned to Night, just staring at him, waiting to see if he woke or not. If he didn't, she'd just try something else.... That would probably be far more painful then just being sent tumbling to the ground. hearing him speak, an almost smug look crossed her face. Though she was a little disappointed she couldn't come up with other ways to wake him...
Of course, that smug look vanished when she realized James was in the room, her gaze focused on him as he basically blocked her line of sight. Hearing his request, she looked at the disgustingly loud girl, her expression blank. "I think he means you." Who knew who Alice would bring back if she went. She personally didn't understand the purpose of doctors or medicine. But that was from spending to much time watching Logan...
Once again, she shifted her focused to the two men, or Night in particular. "You're not allowed to be sick." The way she said it actually demanded that he get better now. And now meant now. She folded her arms across her chest, as if waiting for him to recover. "You still promised to play with me, remember?" She seemed pretty determined to make him play with her right then and there....

Night Wolf sat where he was and listened to the tail end of what the young man had said. He could smell that Alex had taken off to find a doctor so he couldn't tell her it was fine and she didn't have to. He seemed like he didn't know what was going on at first when the young man offered his hand out to him, and it was possible that it just didn't register in night's head what was going on. He waved the young man's hand away.
" Don't worry about me bleeding too much, it isn't nearly as bad as I have had it before." Night said with an attempt at a smile. " And the bed is fine where it is at, I can't sit up like this if you move it."
He heard Alice tell him he wasn't allowed to get sick and then reminded him he still needed to play with her. He looked over at her and gave her a smile, this was the second time he had been unconscious in front of her and he felt kind of embarrassed.
" Alice, it will take me some time to recover enough to play." Night said to her with a weak smile. " Just be patient and when I'm feeling all better we can play as much as you want. I wouldn't be any fun right now if we played any ways, so you just need to wait some."

James took away his hand gracefully rising to stand as he looked at the man sitting before him. The man was slumping forward slightly under the strain of his own weight, and his eyes were barely open, and it occurred to James that for someone this beat up he didn't seem that worried, he was confident even. That at least gave James some indication that this man knew what was going on, which was a relieve. Nonetheless he still would rather have a doctor check him over before releasing him to the wild. Never know what even the smallest of injuries may eventually cause after all.
He heeded the man's wishes, and listened as he responded to Alice's demanding cries. Stepping out from in between the two James tried hard to get a fix on their relationship with one another telling himself it was important for this man's safety, as indeed it probably was. Reading the man was a tough call, given that he was more asleep then awake to begin with, but it was clear he had made some sort of arrangement with Alice in the past, and he genuinely intended to follow through with it. Alice's expression however held something much more sinister (or playful?) in his mind. It wasn't a look James had seen on her before, but he got the feeling that this man clearly didn't realize what he was getting into.

Alice didn't like having to wait. He'd already put it off for how long now? How long did he expect her to wait? In the back of her mind, she actually set a deadline. A week. If he didn't play with her by the end of the week, she didn't care if he was still recovering or not. She didn't care if she killed him. He'd promised, and she'd hold him to it. "A week. No longer." With out meaning to, she actually sounded like she was threatening him. A silent message in those few words. Warning him, she would try to kill him. Sadly, James probably wouldn't know she was serious. After all.. He hadn't seen what happens when this girl fell into a bloodthirsty state...
And now, as expected, the girl seemed determined to wait out his recovery, sitting on a chair with her legs pulled tight against her chest, arms around them. If you didn't know better, the intense stare she fixed Night with a look that told him she planned on sitting there, not leaving, until he recovered or didn't meet her deadline.

Alex took off to find a doctor and brought one back as fast as she chould with a small smile on her face, but the smile disapeared when she saw Night, Alex rushed over to his sided not caring how many people where around him right now.
“Are you o.k o my god you scared me so bad don’t you ever do that again ever ever ever you didn’t need to do that at all i chould of found another way home i promise i was fine, you chould of died or something and wicth one of you threw the bed that wasn’t nice he’s hurt you chould of killed him he’s a good person i like him and there no reason to hurt him he didn’t hurt you”
Alex looked at Night a sturn look on her face he really shouldn’t of done that at all that for her and gotten him self hurt if she whould of known there was know why she’d let him and now there was no way she was going to let him leave untell he was all better she kinda wanted to kick everyone else out she didn’t know that Night and the mean girl had meet before and she didn’t know who this other guy was she chouldn’t turst them tell they proved to her they wherern’t going to hurt him and throwing his bed wasn’t winning any points with her.

Night Wolf looked over at Alex as she began to ramble on and on. He noticed the doctor and frowned slightly. There was nothing the doctor could do for him and he had a feeling the doctor knew that as well and had only come to because of Alex. The doctor had leaned down to examine him, so night took this chance to chat with the doctor really quick about why he was in this condition. The doctor tried to think of something he could do for a moment before he stood up and left the room saying. " He just needs bed rest for now and to wait this out."
Night waited until the doctor had left before he looked back at Alex and gave her a smile. He was glad to see she was doing well and he hoped that he had gotten her where she needed to go.
" Don't worry about it Alex, I just got you back home so you should be more focused on that then me right now. I'll recover soon enough so why don't you go sleep in your bed?" Night said to her to try and calm her down. " This is the place you needed to go right?"
He had asked her that, but turned his attention over to Alice before she could answer. She was sitting in a chair staring at him. He imagined until he was better.
" So this is where you live then I take it. You can go do whatever you want to do as well, I'll be here for at least two more days so I'm not going to be running off any time soon." Night said to Alice with a smile.

Alice was beyond aggravated by this point. She actually twitched when the chatterbox returned, going on and on about the stupidest things. There wasn't any thought process to what she said..... And it made Alice want to try to kill the girl.
With out even considering the consequences, but she never did so it was no surprise, a thin loop of darkness leaped off the floor to tighten around her neck. It was tight enough to make it impossible to breath. "If you don't shut up, I'll kill you rather then him." Her voice was dead serious, a dangerous look in her eyes. The cord tightened a little, to make it clear she'd have no problem doing it, before it finally evaporated, no mark left from her almost attempt of strangling the chatterbox.
She continued to fix the younger girl with a dark, menacing stare, just reminding her that Alice really wouldn't stop the next time this happened. Night might have expected such behavior from Alice, but James had yet to see how twisted and violent this girl could be, and, understandably, might be very shocked.
Finally, when she heard Night address her this time, that sinister look in her eyes vanished, the girl blinking as she looked at the man. ".... What else would I do...?" It was day outside. And during daylight, the girl usually just sulked....
