*Shakaku smiled with Gisli's giggle fit. It made him chuckle a little too. But it was true. Trouble and him were good friends and with what they've been thought, it was hard to separate them. Even if he was trying to stay out of it, it always found him. One time a kid pretended to be burning just because Shakaku just looked at him. He got sent to Xaviers and missed the rest of class. But the kid looked disappointed when he found a note from Shakaku on his desk thanking him from helping him get out of the class. It was hard to get one up on Shakaku, he would just do his best to turn it around.*
You don't have to apologize. I don't think I've ever seen you giggle so much before. *He was glad that she was more comfortable with him now. He felt like he could be more of himself with her around. It was the same with Kaitou. But still both expected things from them. Kaitou expected him to always want to prank and get back at people, and have fun. Gisli expected him to be selfish and only care about himself. He was both, but for some reason he was less of those, sometimes.*

Truly, Gisli wasn’t a giggler. Ever. She’d never been one in her entire life. She didn’t even want to be a giggler! No way was she going to make a habit of it now! “I don’t do that very often…” A complete understatement. It probably was the first time he’d heard her giggle that much. “I can’t even remember the last time I laughed that much.”
Gisli still felt the urge to start giggling again, but managed to restrain herself. If only she could hide the broad grin on her lips. It was a good thing no one else had been in the room, otherwise she’d be blushing like crazy, embarrassed by it all.
It wasn’t that she always thought he was selfish and self centered. That was just how he usually acted around her. Only on the rare occasions did he act selfless, and those times when he had… Well it hadn’t been the response she’d wanted at the time. Hopefully he’d learn from those mistakes.
They needed a new topic now. She didn’t want them dwelling on her giggle fit. “So? How are you going to survive with all the new rules and stuff?” Specifically she wanted to know how he’d survive the Uniforms. That wasn’t exactly a rule he could go around breaking and not be noticed. Not to mention his style didn’t exactly… fit the uniforms in any way. “Not going to try and make a statement are you?” He just might…

*Shakaku wasn't happy about the rules. He was eight teen and didn't really have to take that crap. But then he would have to take more crap with being a stinking X-man. But then he could keep his piercing and hair style. He just shrugged, he wasn't sure how he was gonna survive it. He knew that with his reputation he would be watched carefully, one slip up and then he would be in trouble. He licked his lips, tasting the metal of the hoop that went around his lower lip. He had two piercing near his lip and the ones on his ears. That would be such a hassle taking them out for class then putting them back in after. But he didn't want the holes healing on him.*
Not sure, seems like they made some with me in mind. They'll be keeping an eye on me. Unless I become an X-man. But that doesn't sound lots of fun.
*Why was he confiding in Gisli about this, these were things that he should be thinking, not saying. This sucked, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Now witch seemed less aggravating, and less of a hassle?

Oh great. Another giggle fit was coming. All because he mentioned some of the dress code rules only being written for him. Gisli didn’t giggle nearly as much as she had the first time, but it could still be called a giggle fit. It took even less time than before to get them under control. “Maybe. But I don’t think you’re the only guy around here with extra piercings.” She smiled a little. At least she could still wear her earrings in class. If only his piercings were as easy to remove as earrings.
“So you don’t plan on staying after you graduate?” Both her eyebrows raised. Sure, not all students stayed, but quite a few did, and some of those that didn’t actually came back after a while. She hadn’t really asked him what his future plans were. “If you aren’t staying, what are you going to do then?” She already had an idea what he might do. Go back to Japan probably… That was his home country after all. For some reason, she was sad, dwelling on the idea of him leaving. Why did it upset her like this?!

*Shakaku thought about her question. He thought for a bit.* Can you really see me as a X-man? I don't think they would even let me, or they'd put me incharg of something, hoping to use my anger problem to their benefit. *He could go back, his parents have a long list of Japanese girls they want him to date. Both his parents wanted him to mary a Japanese woman and have a Japanese family. But partially because they want it for him, he doesn't want it.*
Leaving would be nice, but then what? Here, I know it's strange to hear it from me, but I kind of feel like a team, like I can actually do something... worth while.
*He thought about it often, but not recently. And he hadn't thought of a solution to the problem yet. There were things that made him want to stay. The school, oddly enough, was one of them. But another was Kaitou, and Gisli. He smiled at her.*
Well If I go home I'll probably be forced into an omiai. *Pausing for a bit, realizing that Gisli probably didn't know what that was.* That basically means a meeting where two strangers meat and possibly get married later on. *He didn't sound happy about it, by the way he spoke.*
*Gisli would probably start laughing again. Seeing him get into an arranged marriage, and the girl being alright with it. That was a strange, yet funny thought.

Shakaku’s question was odd, to say the least, her response being a shrug. “Have you even seen Logan?” If anything, Shakaku was a slightly more violent version of Wolverine. Wolverine was not known for good manners, or controlling his anger. And if Logan ever felt the need to use those claws of his, he would without any hesitation. “If you wanted to stay, I doubt they’d turn you away.”
Gisli shifted a little on the bed, crossing her legs Indian style, a thoughtful look on her face as she half stared at him. “I mean, why would they even think about turning you away? Sure you’re not exactly the most… peaceful person around, but you’re a hell of a lot more useful than say, me, when it comes down to it. What with all your training with that Dragon Lady, before you know it they’ll be asking you to stay.”
It wasn’t that she thought little of her own abilities, they just had a nasty habit of turning on her, and quite literally! She didn’t practice any more then she had to, if only because it meant using real people as guinea pigs… Her curses weren’t something she willingly used on others, and thankfully Shakaku had never seen her have to resort to them.
Omiai? What in the world was that? When he explained, she frowned. That was basically an arranged marriage! She would have scolded him for even thinking that would happen when her thoughts wandered. Shakaku… In an arranged marriage…
Gisli quickly covered her mouth as a single giggle escaped. No way was she going to have yet another giggle fit! “You? Agreeing to an arranged marriage?” She couldn’t hold it back any longer. More giggles escaped. “Aren’t you a little too stubborn to agree to something like that?”

*Shakaku leaned back getting even more comfortable. He thought about Logan, that was true. Once he became and X-man, if he did, they would probably put him next to Logan, they would probably become somewhat buddies. Maybe.*
*Dragon Lady? That was new, but not untrue. Freya could be quite nasty at times, especially when she was in a bad mood. Then the giggles came. She was so cute when she giggled. But she did have a point.* I wouldn't agree, but my father is just as suborn and make me go. But it's only a meeting. And that's only if I go back, and if I leave the mansion.
*Deep down, somewhere, he wished that they would ask him to stay and become an X-man, but he didn't think that would happen. He looked at Gisli a small smile came to his face. He didn't know why, but he liked spending time with her, he looked forward to the times that they got together. When he saw her at his door he was glad to see her again. What was this? Dang those questions were beginning to rise up again. But he wouldn't let them get in the way of their relationship again.*

Dragon Lady was almost an understatement. Freya was worse than a dragon, or so Gisli had heard. Didn’t she and her sister Tari destroy a hotel just because they got pissed at each other? Still… She’d never met the woman. She wouldn’t know for sure until she actually stood face to face with her… Not that Gisli ever planned on that happening!
“True. Only if you go back. But if you did go, and went to that meeting, if your dad is as stubborn as you say, wouldn’t he make you go again?” She had her giggles under control again, finally deciding that the whole Winter vacation had made her unusually giddy. She was sure it would wear off soon enough, and she’d go back to being giggleless… Hopefully.
Gisli blinked when she saw that look on his face as he just gazed at her with a small smile. She’d seen that look from him once or twice, but that was about it. Again, she quickly changed the subject. “Anyway, I just realized something. What are you going to do about Furai? I mean, you don’t want your extra roommate finding out about her and all…” Where was the little creature anyway? Wait… No, it was winter. She was still hibernating. How could she have forgotten that?

*Gisli mentioned Furai and Sahkaku looked to the small table with a lamp on it. He opened the top door, witch was slightly open. There was the curled up ball of fluff known as a flying squirrel. She had quick breathing and looked fast asleep. She also looked happy with assorted soft things to keep her comfortable.*
I've thought of that. I'll just be late to my first period. I'll make sure that he is gone then slip her into my pocket, then head off to class. *Sluffing, or being late to a class wasn't new for Shakaku, he did it for most of his classes. He was going to try to do better, and not be as late to the classes, but old habits die hard. That would be his excuse.*
Plus, if he does find out, I could always threaten him. *Shakaku would risk getting thrown out of the school if it meant protecting Furai. She had been there for a long time, and was always there for him...always. She, like most pets, could sence when something was wrong and other emotions of Shakaku's. He then closed the drawer carefully as to not disturb his pet. He left a small crack for air then turned back to Gisli.* She'll get used to the new acomidations. Eventually.

Gisli had to lean over a little to see inside the compartment he’d opened. Furai looked just like always, though Gisli hadn’t seen her in hibernation before. It was a little odd to see the small creature actually sleeping and not scurrying about, climbing over everything she could.
“Well, at least you don’t have to worry about taking her with you until she comes out of hibernation. By then, that’ll only be a few months of carrying her around like that.” She didn’t like the idea of him threatening the mystery roommate, her frown making the feelings known. It wasn’t anything knew, she never liked it when Shakaku picked on, or threatened other students. Thankfully he never did it with her around…
“You know, threatening isn’t the only way to get people to do what you want. You could always try to reason with them first.” She paused, returning to her previous position. “Wait… Do you even know who to reason with people without threatening them?” You would think she was joking, but her tone and thoughtful expression… She was quite serious! She’d never seen him resolve something without threats! Well… Other then when he was trying to resolve something with her.

*Shakaku shrugged and looked down at his laptop, mostly to avoid her gaze. He didn't he knew that he had a problem but he as bad at talking, and good at threatening and attacking. He was so good at it that it just came naturally. Changing might be much harder than it is to just do what he wanted.* Not really, I've tried a few times, but it doesn't seem to work as well as threatening people. *Plus the person would probably kill over laughing before coming up worth a reasonable solution, witch would make him mad...then something would really brake, and it would hurt....lots.*
*He could actually speak calmly to only three people, with out stressing to much on staying calm. Those people were Gisli, Kaitou, and now, Freya. He felt like he could go and talk to them willingly, and not have to be tough, and he didn't want to scare them. Well he couldn't scare Freya, she would just beat on him, or make his training more like Tarterus, then Hades. The others just seemed more like friends, the only two friends he had. He didn't want to ruin it, and have no friends. Then he would for sure leave the mansion.*

Gisli was smiling softly again, shifting so her back was against one wall, her feet handing off the edge of the bed. Staring off at the rest of the room, she shrugged. “Well, you’re not the only one lacking negotiation skills, as shocking as that sounds.” Okay, it wasn’t shocking in the least. The idea of Gisli being able to negotiate with people was even more laughable then Shakaku trying!
It wasn’t that she was ‘uncooperative’ like Shakaku, it was more of a ‘Can’t get her to talk enough to negotiate’. She was nowhere near, say, Train, when it came to being shy, but she was still one of the shyest students at the school. Not even a teacher could get to her talk in class. If they tried, her cheeks would just turn pink from embarrassment and she’d look like a deer in headlights. Usually they didn’t call on her because they knew she panicked… Shakaku on the other hand wasn’t called on because he’d give them grief…
“You know…” She started, with another thoughtful look. “How is it that we get along? I mean, we’re almost polar opposites.” This wasn’t new for either of them. Both of them knew they shared very little in common when it came to personality, yet they could sit like this, for hours on end, and never once even think angry thoughts about the other, let alone act on them! Shakaku had never once tried to pick on her, yet she knew she was exactly his victim type! Gisli smiled a little, looking back at Shakaku.

Kaitou had just checked out a couple of books from the library and was heading back to his dorm room. Kaitou already knew that he was rooming with Shakaku, not like that was a huge surprise, but he couldn’t help but wonder who his other roommate was. Xavier’s had gone through massive renovations during the winter vacation and now students were required to room with two other roommates. Kaitou was still wondering how that was going to work. Obviously Kaitou was going to have to play mediator or else his other roommate just might end up fried.
As Kaitou neared the dorms he looked for the room number that had been mailed to him at his house in Texas. “Let’s see room 100. Ah there it is.” As Kaitou opened the door to his dorm room he saw that Shakaku was already there accompanied by Gisli. Kaitou walked into the room toward where one of the two remaining empty beds were located, and then just for the fun of it started to make fun of Shakaku. “Shakaku has a girlfriend. Now there’s something I hadn’t expected.” Kaitou was probably the only person that could get away with saying something like that and live, or at least escape from being seriously fried.

Max walked into the building, dragging his suitcase with him, he made his way up to his room. Room 100, he hoped that it wouldn't be one of those typical boarding school films that he'd seen where one of them gets bullied because it'd most likely be Max because he was short, slim and of course because of his sexuality. He opened the door and saw two boys and one girl already in the room. "Oh, hey." He had no idea what to say but both boys and the girl were taller than him and he walked over the the bed that wasn't taken. He started unpacking his bag, he liked the look of his room mates but he wasn't sure what to expect from them. He just hoped that if either of them was aggressive that his powers of Molecular Density Control and Telekinesis would be enough to fend them off. He was also wandering if he'd develop a third power like his brother had but he shrugged it off and got on with unpacking his case, he'd tried to keep everything 'straight-looking' to avoid any conflict with his room mates.

((Actually, Gisli is smaller then Max. Max is 168cm(5'5), according to his profile. Gisli is 157cm(5'2). XD)) The moment the door opened for the first time, Gisli fell silent. It wouldn't shock Shakaku, knowing how shy she got around strangers, but the transformation was almost instant. Even her body went tense! As if expecting the worst to happen as the door opened! It was an Asian boy... Who obviously knew Shakaku. This had to be the infamous Kaitou she'd heard about. It was the first time she'd ever seen him before though.
His comments, though, even though they weren't addressed to her, made her blush a bright red. It wasn't that she was angry at the accusation. It was more of an embarrassment that he would think that... But it wasn't like she didn't like Shakaku...
Then, the third and final roommate had entered. If it were possible, she seemed to grow even shyer then before! "I should probably go, I still have unpacking to do..." Her voice was barely even a whisper, so only Shakaku might hear... Hopefully. Slowly, she slid off his bed, heading for the door but stopping by Max. "Try not to provoke Shakaku... If you push him he'll set you on fire..." Again, her voice was quiet, but it wasn't a whisper this time.
She continued to the door, opening it and leaving, though paused to give a small wave back to Shakaku before closing it.
