Yuriko slapped her forehead. This was going to be harder than she thought and she was starting to doubt her patience for his depleated memory.
"Alright, let's start this from the start. My name is Yuriko Oyama. I was born and raised in Japan and my father was the CEO of the Oyama corperation. I don't expect you to know it. It's just a big company in Japan. I don't even know what they do now. It's been a very long time since I went home. Anyway, my father was a big financial provider for experements that concern..." she paused to think of the word, extending one of her claws slowly and examining it. "Special subjects such as you and me. We were...sort of a couple before my father found out about you and found a way to provide you to the scientists. Stryker put a bullet through your head. It must have been made from the same metal our bones are coated in or else it wouldn't have done anything, but I'm guessing it scrambled your brain around a little bit. I was among the last of the experiments. My father loved me very much."
It was obvious she was spiteful against her father. Could you blame her?

As she spoke, he listened, but what happened on the inside was something else. Her words seemed to echo in his mind, drawing out images that seemed to affect him. He pictured a man, older than he was, looking almost exactly like the in front of him. He then pictured him struggling against scientist, Yuriko almost crying as others held her back.
"Yuriko..."
More images came. Taking walks along a street he couldn't remember, stopping at a house that he didn't know where, and then...a kiss. He was kissing a young who was Yuriko, having the kindest and most gentle look in her eyes. When he came back to his senses, he looked at Yuriko with a new look in his eyes. He stood up from the bed, walking over and looking the woman over. He reached up, touching her hair and cheek softly, wondering if this was more then just images.
"I thought I lost you. Why couldn't I remember us? I only see pictures, but they were important to me."
Then she mentioned Stryker and how he put a bullet into his brain. He couldn't imagine how that was possible, but when she mentioned the material it was made with, it made sense. Adamantium can only hurt itself, so it was likely that's what happened. Another reason he was glad the old man was at the bottom of the lake.

Gentleness was about as alien as to her as Apocalypse's ship. She had never really had a gentle existance and Logan's new found revived affection for her was a bit unnerving. When he asked why she had escaped his memory, she pursed her lips together to fight back a chuckle, but to no avail.
"Well we weren't exactly the happiest couple."
Granted, they had their moments, but they fought worse than cats and dogs. Sometimes even worse than mutants and humans. The term fight didn't refer to the constant screaming and petty arguments that most couples declared were fights. They got into actual fights.
"If i didn't heal then I could name countless times when you would have killed me."
Looking back she saw that most of their fights were because Yuri wouldn't leave her father simply because he was her father. Logan had wanted her to run away with him quite often but she refused to and when she was finally more than willing to leave, he had already gone and she had already undergone her own surgery. Were her father not already dead she would have been more than happy to ensure his blood was on her hands.

"Knowing how we were on the island, I'm sure it was normal."
He smiled a little when he heard her chuckle. He wondered exactly how much of his memories of here did he want to remember. He was sure her father and him didn't get along if both Yuriko and him were experiments used to test the metal material.
"Well at least Stryker's now taking a permanent swim along with the rest of his lab." he smiled, but then a thought hit him, "Which reminds me, how exactly can you be here when you're suppose to be at the bottom of the lake as well?"
He didn't know about her or what had happened between the time he supposedly killed her at the mansion to him standing in front of her now. He took a few steps back, giving them space in case being close was making her uncomfortable. He didn't know what else to do or say, never being one for conversation. He did hope that where ever Rogue was she wasn't getting into any trouble.
"You can name as many times as you want but I can garauntee you I won't remember any of them."

She smirked at this and shook her head.
"Oh Logan. You were on the island, not me. I was taken to some hell hole in the middle of no where. In fact I think they've only just recently shut down. Or at least I'm hoping. We weren't the only ones who the metal became fond of. I know of a young girl whose...well let's just say she's even more out of control than I've ever seen you...and I've seen a lot. Last I knew she was still locked up. They never even called the poor thing by her name. It was always X-23. But I'm sure that one day she'll find a way out, and when that happens I'm sure everyone is going to know about it. She's not really subtle like you and I...most of the time."
Then came the question. She had to smile. It was impossible not to. "You know the latest and greatest craze that all the fat people keep going after? They jam a needle in there and they suck everything out. Let's just say your provider wasn't exactly honest about the source."

"So they separated us."
Logan was a little shocked, but nowhere near surprised. He knew how heartless people could be, and no doubt they separated both him and Yuriko to turn them against each other somehow. Good news was that he was able to escape from whatever they had planned. The bad news? Yuriko wasn't so lucky. He looked at her when she spoke of another , someone like them only more untamed.
"We have to find her. If anything then to keep her safe from the world and vise versa. Do you know where we can find her?"
Again she told him news that didn't surprise him. He knew Apocalypse wasn't telling the full story on where he got the adamantium, but did he really go so far as to trench the underwater lab and get Yuriko out? He was going to ask her how she survived being brought back, but he thought back to his captivity with Cain. No doubt that's why he hadn't seen her until recently and why she was back to moving around. He couldn't help but smirk at the fortune though.
"At least you have your own mind this time, unless Apocalypse has you by the ropes to."

"Not...exactly. It's a long and complex story. More like you got sick of trying to get me to leave my father because I wouldn't simply because he was my father." she rolled her eyes at this, thinking back to how consumed by culture and honor and everything else that made her life hell back then. Had she simply left with Logan the first time he asked there was a good chance they would both be very very different people. They would have had regular skeletons and everything.
Yuriko shook her head.
"I wish I did. I'd go back there and unman every 'scientist' there if I did." she said the word scientist as if they were making a mockery of the title, which she supposed they were. "They relocated right after I ran away. I think they knew we hadn't parted on the best terms and I wouldn't be very happy to see them again. They're predictable though so my first assumptions would have to be either China or Russia. They like the cold, it seems. But if it's Russia, it looks like most everything's already destroyed there."
She rolled her eyes.
"You have no idea how infuriating that was. At least I know that you've gotten a little smarter in your fighting instead of running in swinging mindlessly."
Yuriko was a fairly feirce opponent. She was a trained assassin after all.

"I couldn't imagine why." he said with a bit of sarcasm, "You and your dad got along pretty well I guess."
He was going off of what she was telling him mostly, but the thought of searching to find this third mutant did peak his interest. He thought about it and decided that he needed some time out of the mansion. He figured that going to find another mutant to hopefully rescue and get on their side would be a good idea.
"I could use a vacation anyway."
He smiled a bit, enjoying the idea of just getting away from the mansion and everything else happening there. The only person he would really miss would be Storm, but he was sure she'd understand once he was able to explain to her why he left. He had no idea she would be miles above the earth by the time he got back to the mansion. He smirked when she rolled her eyes. Yep, she was in control this time.
"Well you weren't exactly sloppy in your fighting either. Maybe we can try that again sometime, now that you have your sense back where they belong. Or will we have to get permission from Blue Boy out there."
