"Yes your timing was rather...off."
He smirked, looking back at Yuriko as he began the final preparations to give Logan his metal back. It was tough getting her from the lake, and even more tough getting the massive amount of metal out of her body. That was how he had gotten the adamantium to put into Logan's body. The whole story about it being an alien rock was true, but how he had gotten the metal wasn't.
The final button pressed, and a hissing down began coming from the tubes. He saw Logan's body began to squirm and jerk as the heated metal began to course along his skeleton. He smirked, though following the treaty, he always loved the chance to see a member of the X-Men squirm. Logan began grunting and yelling in pain as the metal reached well over one hundred degrees.
"I'm sure you will have plenty of time to chat once this is over."
Was he going to hold his promise to Yuriko? Of course not, he had gotten her onto the brotherhood team, and that's what he wanted. He wanted a mutant with the same type of ability as Logan, and if she wanted him, then she would have to work her own way into getting him. It wasn't long before Logan suddenly laid still, and his vital signs shown that he had died. Apocalypse just smirked, having lived this event with Yuriko, and knowing what lied ahead.

When he commented on her timing, Yuriko’s bright and metallic silver eyes narrowed at him before crossing her arms over her chest. She understood why he would want her to stay around. She had been a few experiments after Logan, one of the few surviving ones, which meant she was much more agile then him, and stronger thanks to her little operation. The only advantage Logan had on her was more experience fighting. However, she considered Logan lucky. She would have given anything to not recall some of the things she had seen before her ‘surgery’. It wasn’t as if she wanted to remember her father purposely scarring her and her brothers because he was unsuccessful in commenting suicide in the second world war. She didn’t want to remember her brothers dying because her father her father was never happy with them. Yuri probably would have died as well were it not for her ability emerging. She considered Logan fortunate.
“My timing would not have been off had I been informed about our guest’s arrival sooner.”
Normally, Yuri was accustom to seeing others in pain, even Logan consider they had their…lovers spats from time to time. After all, he wasn’t the only one who could take a bullet to the head of a blade through the gut without having as much as a mark to show for it. However, his adamatium injection was vibrantly reminding her of her own operation. She examined Apocalypse’s smirk and her eyes narrowed again.
“You’re not going to let me talk to him, are you?” she snapped over Logan’s screams. “If that’s the case then perhaps you shouldn’t have told me you would. You should remember that once I keep my promise I won’t have anything keeping me here so you might want to be somewhat nice to me.” She knew that the only other mutant like her and Logan was a young girl that was only known as X-23. But Apocalypse didn’t know that. She knew things that few others would be willing to confess and she would keep it that way if Apocalypse were to be dishonest with her.
“It’s becoming a good thing that I’ve never promised to share some of the secrets I learned over the years.”

"As I said earlier, you may speak to him when he awakes."
He found her temper to be a little more then humorous. Every member of the brotherhood d how he seemed to not care about their feelings. That's because, honestly, he didn't. His goal was take control of the planet, rid it of humans and mutants that fight for them. At least that's the plan after Cain was taken care of. He raised a brow as Yuriko spoke of the things that she knew.
"Do not think me a fool, Yuriko, I know more about you and Logan then you believe. Do not forget it was I that brought you back and took the metal from your body. Otherwise you would still be weighing down the ruins of that island."

“I plan to.”
It was a good thing that Yuriko had become mostly temper, brains, and brawn over the years. She had to. The temper was one of the few things that remained from her personality before she discovered that she was a mutant and became merely another experiment, thanks to her dear father. The brains was one of the things that everyone seemed to think she was lacking, but she always found a way to show them wrong. She had to be intelligent. She was the CEO of her father’s company before her power revealed itself. And then there was of course, the brawn. Not only was she tough on the outside, but she was tough on the inside. Having her feelings belittled was ordinary for her. Her eyes narrowed at Apocalypse once more.
“I’m sure there are many things you do not know about. After all, not everything ended up recorded. Well, not on paper at least. There are secrets that I have which are impossible for you to know. No files, no tapes. Even the scientists are dead and gone. There’s nothing except my memories. Besides, you’re only keeping me around because I’m one of the few who is like Logan here. You should just remember that I’ve made a promise, which I have every intention of keeping. However, once I help you bring Cain down you should just remember that I have no more ties to you.”
She smirked and turned on her heel for the door.
“He should be right as rain in a matter of minutes. I’ll see you then.”
The massive doors slammed shut behind her and she proceeded up the steps, waiting until Logan would come around

"Must you think you have control of everything?"
He smirked as she began continuing on how much she knew and he didn't. It was just like the female to think that her knowledge was hers and hers alone. Had she known that he had extracted all the information he needed from her while she was under, she would no doubt be this cocky.
"Yes, our ties end there, but I may have need of you further in the future."
Apocalypse had a failsafe, as he did with all of his brotherhood members. He planted it in Yuriko, Mystique, and even Alex's brother. It was why he didn't care if any members of the brotherhood went off on their own endeavors. They were all connected to his craft by a small chip in the back of their brains. If any were to turn on the brotherhood, or endanger himself, the ship's computer would automatically activate the device, sending a toxin into the brain. It would render them mindless drones, and completely under his power.
"Yes...he will see you there."

Yuriko merely folded her arms over her chest and glared up at Apocalypse.
“I could ask you the same question.”
She rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. “You may have need of me, but with the way you’ve been behaving there’s a good chance that you’ll have to supply that need with someone else.”
It was clear that Yuriko wasn’t faithful to Apocalypse. She wouldn’t turn on him unless she had good reason of course, after all he was right, had it not been for him then she wouldn’t exactly be accessible to movement. However, he didn’t control her and he never would.

"How little you know of me, Yuriko."
Logan was starting to stir, and that meant he would be waking up soon. Apocalypse looked to the man, a small smile growing on his face. He didn't expect Logan to recover from this so soon. Perhaps he misjudged the mutants regeneration? Maybe, though Apocalypse was never one for mistakes, but he had made some miscalculations.
"Perhaps you will get your chance to talk to him sooner then you think."

With this, she returned to the room and pulled a chair against the wall.
"You're not going to hover are you?"
She questioned, not really in a demanding way, but a curious one. there really wasn't anything she could do if he was going to hover, but she would have prefered if he didn't. Yuri was as uncomfortable with spectators as almost anyone else.

"Of course not, I have better things to attend to. If you'll excuse me."
Apocalypse gave her a half smile, then exited the room, the doors opening and closing as he passed. He walked past where Rogue was hanging around, walking up towards the top of the ruins. There were things he had to think about, and that included what he was going to do with the two sentinels resting at the bottom of the ocean. Such valuable material would be useful.
Inside, Logan gave one more groan as he opened his eyes. He could hear voices speaking, one he recognized and the other...it sounded familiar. He laid there and opened his eyes, the straps that held him releasing and moving into the sides of the bed. He sat up and held his head, feeling like he had had one too many shots of jack. The pounding in his head only showed that he was indeed alive, but did it work? Was he really back to the way he was before?

Yuri was growing tired of waiting when suddenly, she seemed to either feel or hear him open his eyes. She waited for him to stir a bit more before speaking. Once she felt as if enough time had passed, she leaned forward and got onto her feet before walking over to him, her heels making a soft clopping noise on the ground.
“You seem dubious, Logan. You don’t think you’re just here for repeated emotional trauma do you?”
Expecting that he wouldn’t be too happy to see her, she took on a defensive stance, her own claws ready to spring out were they needed. It wasn’t as if she’d be seriously injured if he stabbed her, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t defend herself if he tried anything.

That voice was becoming more familiar, and she even knew his name. He looked towards the voice as his vision began to grow clearer. He expected to see Rogue or even Apocalypse in the room, but instead he found himself face to face with a figure he hadn't seen in a long time. In fact, the last time he saw her she was sinking into the tub after he pumped her with adamantium.
It came back to him then, she was standing in front of him and they were alone in the room. He jumped onto the bed, standing and ready for anything. He growled angrily, extending his claws which gleamed with renewed metal. He waited for her to strike, his reflexes prepared for any maneuvering he would have to do.
"Where's Rogue?"

Yuri couldn’t help but to laugh, her stance relaxing.
“Oh, Logan, you’ve become so soft. The swamp rat is fine. You don’t have anything to worry about.”
She examined his metallic claws and couldn’t help but to smirk.
“Well well well, we match again.”
She extended her own claws before swiftly retacting them. She walked back to her chair and crossed her legs as she sat.
“Now why don’t we have a little talk where one of us isn’t under the influence of mind controlling drugs shall we. I’m going to assume you don’t remember me.”

He growled when she called Rogue "swamp rat". When her claws extended, he prepared for battle, but watched her curiously as her claws retracted and she walked over and sat across from him. He stood up on the bed, his own claws retracting back into his hand. She asked him if he remembered her, and he hopped down from the bed and stood there staring at her.
"Why should I remember you? Last time I saw you I was pumping adamantium into your body."
(bah! Short post attack)

Yuriko laughed.
“Don’t get so defensive over the little southern belle. I’m sure she can take care of herself just fine.”
When he snapped at her, she exhaled an annoyed sigh.
“Oh you poor thing. You really did forget everything. You’ve really forgotten about all that we went through together before my father decided that we were nothing more than lab rats? Your head is far worse off than I thought.”

He growled a little still, not really finding the girl's words comforting. When she sighed, speaking of their life together before her father used them, his body began to relax. How did they know each other before the island? What did they have in common besides how they were, and what was so special about them. Obviously something must've been going on with them to make her upset about him not remembering.
"Who are you? Why don't I remember anything about you?"
