Mystique knew for a fact that this would bring Logan to Apocalypse, just as he had wanted. She smiled and pulled the girl in the back seat of the car out by her arms, which were bound together in front of her, a black sack secured over her head. The girl was gagged and struggled to protest, but Mystique paid her no mind.
She shoved the girl along into the ruins until she found the way to a holding cell that would suite her well. No windows, one door, which was constructed of thick metal that couldn’t easily be broken through, and a guard outside at all times.
Before Mystique threw the girl into the cell, she reached into her jean pocket and pulled out her cell phone. She then took off the bag and kicked her into the room before slamming the door shut.
“There’s a knife on the floor.” she stated icily through the door as she opened the phone and browsed the contacts until she found Logan. She walked away from the room and called the number. It went to voicemail, and for Rogue’s sake, Mystique truly wished that Logan checked his messages often.
The phone beeped for her to leave her message and she smiled slightly. “Well hello Logan. It has been far too long since we’ve seen each other. I have something I think you might want back. If you want her, you’ll have to come and get her.”
Mystique smiled and hung up the phone. It was only a matter of time now.

Logan was busy working on his bike that he had gotten back from Pheonix. He was just getting the last touches on it when his phone started ringing. He growled, not in the mood to be talking to anybody. His bike was a mess and he had just gotten done with it. He was going to take it for a spin before something told him to answer his cell.
He stood up, going over to clean his hands before picking up his cell and listening to the voicemail. His anger flared as he heard Mystique's voice, placing the phone in his pocket and getting on his bike. This time he was going to finish the job he had started on Liberty Island. He revved up his bike and sped off down the road.
He didn't think that it was Rogue that Mystique had captured, instead he thought she had gotten Storm again. He didn't care if his claws weren't metal anymore, he was going to make sure they ended up inside Mystique either way, and this time he'll make sure she didn't survive it. It took a while but he was soon on the island.
"Mystique!"

Mystique was fiddling with a computer out of Rogue’s ‘room’ before she heard Logan screaming her name. Her devilish grin appeared on her face and she ordered another Brotherhood member to watch the door as she left for the entrance of the ruins, where she found a livid Logan.
“Well well well, Wolverine. I most certainly wasn’t expecting you to come here so quickly. I’m surprised you didn’t bring along some of your little friends for the rescue of my daughter.”
Suddenly, she realized something.
“Oh, I suppose she hasn’t told you. Either way, it brought you here, which was all I wanted. For her trouble I suppose I can tell Rogue what she wants.”

He was breathing heavily as he looked around, his bone claws out and ready to slash at anybody that came near him. He stood straight and growled, smelling Mystique's scent in the air, his head turning sharply towards the entrance when he heard her voice.
"What are you talking about?"
He asked when she mentioned her daughter. It couldn't be Storm then, but his eyes widened when she mentioned Rogue. She was Rogue's mother? He growled again, sprinting towards Mystique in an attempt to strike at her. He was ready in case she decided to jump, preparing to jump towards her as well.
"Where is she?"

Mystique averted his attack easily. Logan was a good fighter, and could hold his own, even against her, which in itself was impressive, but he was more brawn than brains. Mystique, on the other hand, was all brains with a bit of brawn.
"You seem just as upset Rogue being my daughter as she was when she figured it out. You don't honestly think I have motive in kidnapping her besides getting you here, do you? If I wanted to kidnap her on my own then I would have done it in Quebec."
She glanced over her shoulder, wondering when Apocalypse would arrive. She knew he wouldn't be happy with her for kidnapping Rogue, but at the same time he had not ordered her against any of her methods to getting Logan into the Ruins, which she had done.

"Stand down! Both of you!"
As if on cue to Mystique's thoughts, Apocalypse's voice rang out from inside the ruins. He had told Mystique to get Wolverine to come here, but he was more then furious about her kidnapping Rogue. As he walked up to stand between the two, and as bulky as he was, his quickness was not burdened. This was proven when he had Mystique held in the air with his hand, gripping her throat tightly.
"Must I remind you the truce we have with the X-Men? You dare endanger that by taking one of them?"
To say that Logan was surprised was an understatement. He was thinking Apocalypse would be coming at him, but instead he had grabbed Mystique. So this was what everyone was talking about? He had heard about the Brotherhood and the X-Men teaming up, but he didn't believe it until now. He watched as Apocalypse practically launched Mystique from his grasp.
"Remove the from her cell. She is not our concern."
Apocalypse gave Mystique a look that clearly stated he wouldn't be denied. He then turned to Logan, seeing the bone for claws instead of the metal. So it was true what he had heard, Wolverine had indeed lost the metal, but how much of it? He took a few steps towards Logan, Logan on the defensive.
"How much of your metal was taken?"
"What's it to you, bub?" Logan said, almost in a sneer.
"I'm willing to offer you the chance to regain that which was taken, if you are interested."

Rogue was more than happy to leave her ‘room’, but she knew that she had only been a pawn to a greater scheme. Once she entered the room with Apocalypse and Logan, she suddenly realized what had happened. Her mother greeted her with an evil glare, and this only made her smile. Mystique had probably gotten into trouble for snatching her. After all, she had heard the rumors about the truce that had formed between the brotherhood.
She held her hand out and Mystique slapped the phone back into her hand. Rogue sent Bobby a text message telling him that she was in the ruins, but Logan had come to get her and she would be back at the mansion before he knew it.
“You’re secret is out.” Mystique informed Rogue, nodding in Logan’s direction with an evil smirk on her face. “The only thing he doesn’t know if how close to related you two are.” Rogue glanced at Logan with a terrified look on her face before glaring back at her mother.
“You bitch!” Rogue shouted at her mother, advancing and slamming her closed fist into Mystique’s stomach. Mystique doubled over, but she knew that fighting back wasn’t an option. Apocalypse was already upset with her as it was, dispite the fact that he had not informed her of the truce between the X men and themselves. However, that didn’t mean she couldn’t block her daughter’s attacks.
Rogue slammed her mother against the wall, pinning her neck with her forearm, cutting off her windpipe and binding her arms with her other hand. “You really think I want the world to know that I share your DNA on your terms? You know you can fight back, so do it!”
Mystique freed her arms and pushed her daughter away, rubbing her throat.
“It seems you’ve learned since Canada. Perhaps I’ve grown on you.” she snapped back
Rogue’s eyes narrowed at this statement. “I prefer cancer.” she walked over to Logan and hesitantly embraced him. “Can we go home?”

"What are you talking about?"
He looked towards Mystique when she mentioned Rogue and him being related. He's never even heard of Rogue until the day he met her. Then again he didn't really remember much before then, but nothing that came out of Mystique's mouth seemed truthful to him. When Rogue hugged him, he could tell something was off. He nodded his head when she asked if they could leave, but Apocalypse stopped them.
"How can you defeat Cain with only bones for claws?" Apocalypse asked
"I'll think of something."
"Would you like to have your adamantium skeleton back?"
That made Logan stop completely. The look on his face answered the question, but he looked to Rogue and then back to Apocalypse. What could this man know about Adamantium? What would he be able to do?
"How would you know anything about it." Logan asked.
"Because the meteorite the metal came from is from the solar system of the spacecraft we are standing on right now, buried under the ruins." he smirked, turning and walking down towards the lab, "Follow me, if you wish to learn more."
He watched as Apocalypse began walking away, then looked to Rogue. He wanted to protect her, but his curiosity told him to see where this was going. That and the want for having the metal skeleton back was more then just a little tantalizing. He gave Rogue a squeeze, then started following Apocalypse.

Rogue decided it was best to not say anything, but she stayed close to Logan, deciding it would be best only to leave if Apocalypse snapped at her, but she would willingly take freezing out by the bike instead of waiting with Mystique. Lucky for her, Mystique left to prepare herself for the lecture that Apocalypse would undoubtedly give to her. The gaze that she gave to Logan said that it was his choice. She, personally, wouldn’t have wanted to go through it, but she wouldn’t have blamed him for wanting it back. After all, he had known the Adamantium skeleton for as long as he could remember. Rogue could understand why Logan would want it back.
On their way down the ruins, she inched next to him, pulling him back slightly to make it at least feel like their conversation was somewhat private.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell ya about Mystique bein’ my mother. If it makes ya feel any better, Bobby’s the only one that knows. That and your friend Remy LeBeau after he found me in Canada when she decided to run instead of just talkin’ to me. I have two brothers, both of which ya at least know of if ya don’t know them. Kurt, for one, yeah the Nightcrawler Kurt, and Graydon Creed. The politician Graydon Creed. Graydon is my oldest brother, and as it turns out…he’s your brother’s son. Technically we’re not related, but we’re pretty damn close.”
She looked down once she was done with her little speech. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell ya before. I haven’t even told Kurt yet, and it aint from a lack of tryin’. Have you tried finding’ that teleporter? It’s tougher than it seems.”

"Rogue." he stopped, Apocalypse continuing on, and turned to place both hands on Rogue's shoulder, "I really don't give a dam how we're related, I care more about you being safe then anything else."
He smiled at her, giving her a gentle hug before he continued on. Whether they were related or not, he looked to her as family either way. But Kurt being her brother? He could understand how Kurt and Mystique could be related, but not Rogue. Well...her feisty attitude definitely resembles Mystique from time to time.
"There will be pain, you must know. The same amount that you felt when it was taken away."
Apocalypse voice could be heard even as Logan entered the lab. The lab was becoming more and more fixed up, and the alien technology seemed to be able to finish with it's own repairs. A table with metallic bands rested at the far end of the room, and Logan had a feeling that's where he would be laying.
"How do I know you won't pull anything?" Logan asked.
"I hold true to my word with Xavier, the X-Men and members of the school are not to be harmed." Apocalypse looked over to Rogue, "By anyone. Those that do will be punished."

Rogue couldn’t help but to smile at him.
“Ya know, maybe havin’ an actual family won’t be as bad as I assumed it would. After all, it seems that the majority of ‘em are freaks like me.”
Rogue couldn’t help but to feel nervous for Logan. After all, his original operation making his skeleton metallic was what they thought had destroyed his memory. With his mind lost once more, who was to say if he would remember her once his transformation was complete.
Before he could even consider doing anything, she pulled him into a sudden embrace, burrying her face in his chest. Logan may have been her brother’s father’s brother, at least according to him, but he would always be like a big brother to her.
“Don’t forget anything ‘cause if ya do I know I won’t have fun teachin’ it to you again.”
She wouldn’t have been surprised if Apocalypse and Logan expected her to try and talk him out of it, but Rogue knew him well enough to be almost certain that Logan already knew what he was doing.
Rogue shrugged at Apocalypse’s words. “I figured I was bait. I don’t know why you couldn’t have just talked to everyone instead of makin’ a big secret ordeal out of it, but if it’s supposed to be a secret I can keep my trap shut, dispite contrary belief.”

Logan gave a half smile when Rogue called her family a bunch of freaks. He had to admit he shared the same thought when he had first came to the mansion. If it wasn't for Rogue, he would have left the place a long time ago. That and Jean and Storm had ended up befriending him, and he looked to Xavier as a mentor. He started to take a step forward towards the bed, but was soon found with Rogue's arms around him. He hugged her close, looking down at her.
"I won't forget anything, I promise."
He hugged her tight for a moment, Apocalypse waiting patiently at the controls. After releasing her, he walked over and laid on the bed, looking to Apocalypse and nodding. Apocalypse nodded back and turned towards the controls. A few buttons pushed, and the bands on the bed tightened themselves over him, keeping him strapped to the bed.
"You may feel some momentary discomfort." Apocalypse said, then looked to Rogue, "The fact that you were taken was Mystique's idea and hers alone. I would've prefered Wolverine come alone, but I would prefer you keep the source of Logan's new metal a secret."

She leered up at him.
“Well if ya do then you’d better be ready for me to confuse the hell outta ya. I still have Mystique’s stupid power from Canada. I ain’t ever really used it, but I could.”
She stopped herself suddenly. Logan didn’t know about her getting her guts beat out of her in Canada and she had a feeling that if she told him much more then his temper would get the better of him and currently they were outnumbered insanely. Not to mention, Logan had a knack for doing stupid things under the influence of anger.
Rogue rolled her eyes at Apocalypse, dispite how stupid she knew that course of action could be.
“I ain’t gonna tell no one. As long as I don’t gotta watch. If Logan wants me to stay, then I can, but I’d rather not. No offense, Logan. If it’s as bad as the flashes I’ve seen from your head, it don’t look pleasant.”

"When did you meet Mystique?"
His attention was fully on Rogue as he looked at her. She went to Canada? That was news to him, and it was news he planned to get as soon as they were on their way back to the mansion. As well as a full explanation to the whole "Mystique is my mother" story. He was still at a loss as to how they both were related to some senator who he was sure liked mutants about as much as every other human out there.
"Relax, Wolverine," came Apocalypse's voice, "otherwise it won't be as effective."
Apocalypse didn't have much time to explain things to Rogue. This was his island and the two of them were guests. When Rogue said she didn't want to stick around to watch, Apocalypse pressed the button to open the doors, allowing her to leave. He then turned to Logan, who once again nodded his head.
A few more buttons pushed, and tubes came out from the table, each aimed at certain parts of Logan's body. Two for the head, four for each arm and leg, and for lined up along the ribcage. Another press of the button, and the needles sunk into his skin, deep enough to penetrate the bone. Logan grunted as the entered, but that was nothing compared to the pain he knew was about to come.

Yuriko was far from happy when she discovered that Logan was already with Apocalypse to have his skeleton restored to its former metallic glory. Granted, had it not been for Apocalypse she would still be immobile, but the only reason she was even willing to agree to his terms was that she owed him. Dispite how much she was out for herself, she would always repay her debts.
Yuri entered the room just as Rogue was leaving, her metallic eyes locking onto Apocalypse, seeming to ignore Logan.
“Apocalypse.” she addressed him coldly. She was the only person she knew of who faced him without as much as a drop of fear in her. “You agreed that you would let me see him before he went on the table.”
Her silver eyes fell upon Logan, realizing it was too late. She rolled her eyes. “I suppose I’ve come too late.” A smirk pulled up the corners of her mouth and she leaned against the nearest wall. “Were that me on the table…again, I would suggest getting it done and over with. It gives you less time to think about how terrible it is.”
Yuriko stared blankly ahead of her, waiting for the procedure to be done. She cracked her fingers, one by one, the noise coming from her knuckles not being the mere pop of human bones, but the sound of metal popping. Yuri would never admit it, but dispite the differences she and Logan had had in the past, there was still a bit of a fire inside her that burned for him. However, last she had heard he had no more memory of her. She wasn’t sure if she should find this an advantage or a drawback. The last goodbye she could recall them sharing hadn’t exactly been under the best circumstances. No one had known she was a mutant back then, not even Logan. When she was finally open about her ability, her father made her another experiment with the adamantium. If Logan truly didn’t remember her then at least he would be able to see that he wasn’t the only one who had been on the exploding side of an experiment gone wrong.
