*Darin sighed. Then at least he was safe...for the most part. He wouldn't be killed. But she wanted to capture him. That was even worse then death. He was sure that she wouldn't let him die. She was doing it for the money. And because of that he was sure he was going to be forced back.*
Well then congratulations. I know when to give in. I could always jump, but you would stop me. You want your money. So there's no way out of this.
*Darin smiled and looked up at the sky.* I guess the Devil has finally caught up to me. Time to go back to Hell. *To people who didn't understand how terrible his life was it would just seem like a phrase or something. But he truely felt that the life he was going to go back to was Hell. There was no way out, and he was constantly watched over by his father. Being monitored for everything. Every breath he took had to be in the right place at the right time.*
So how much did he say he'd pay you? I'm sure the only heir to the Lloyd family would be important enough to pay lots, but how much did that man say I was worth?

He didn’t even look when she spoke, which was interesting. Usually the mutants wanted to know just who was coming after them. And then they’d put up a fight. That was the routine. And this guy was breaking it. Great. Something else to bug her today. She shook her head, approaching where he sat, and grabbing the back of his shirt, yanking hard to pull him away from the edge. He might even be surprised, since she was a lot stronger then she looked. Pushing him back she leaned over him with a dark, and still feral stare. “You know nothing of Hell.” Her voice had gone ice cold, as if daring him to try and convince her that living his life was worse than being raised with no family, no love, no sympathy. At least when he made a mistake he got scolded or grounded. In the order? You make a mistake and you could get killed.
She paused when he asked about the bounty on his head. Either he was being curious, or was wanting to up the bid so she wouldn’t take him back. Either way, she didn’t care. “You’re not the only heir. You’re just the male heir. Your sister could easily become Duchess. But you Royals are so stuck up, you probably didn’t even know that.” She released him, stepping back only a step. “As for price, it’s probably not as much as you’re worth, but it’s reasonable.” She didn’t name it though.

*Darin was surprised when he was forced back. But he layed there, not putting up a fight. So it was a girl. There was nothing wrong with that. He had no pride to get hurt. Plus he liked it that girls could do just the same things as boys. He listened to her short rant. He smirked at her when she pointed out that he was nothing but a male heir.* That's true. So Then why do they want me back? They could just train my sister. She's young enough.
*Yea, he was spoiled and stuck up. But that was the only thing that he knew. He wished that it was different. He stayed on the ground looking back up to the sky.* I wasn't going to pay you if that's what you thought I meant. I have very little money. I just want to know how much my life is worth to that man.
*His father wasn't a very good father, but he was a fairly good man. So "reasonable" how much is that? Enough....enough to make her go to such lengths. He was just a bag of money to her....to everyone.*

Merfonde rolled her eyes. He didn’t even recognize her? Men were so visual, they didn’t even recognize someone because of a small difference! Sure, the tattoo on her face wasn’t exactly… small, but she’d been sure he’d at least realize after a few moments that she’d been the girl from earlier. She’d been following him all day.
“I don’t know, I don’t care. Their your parents. I don’t think any parent would like the idea of their kid running off.” She paused for a moment, scowling. “Even if their kid is more then old enough to do what they want.” Sure, it was a little crazy that they were paying her to bring back there 26 year old son, but it was quick cash. It wasn’t like they could physically confine him to the house, and if they did they could be prosecuted for kidnapping, even if he was their son.
“Your sister can’t claim the title unless you renounce your birthright, or die, idiot.” Really, what sort of Royal was he? Not even knowing that much… He’d probably ignored his studies his whole life, only doing what he had to do. It was stupid, definitely stupid.
“How much your worth to him?” She scoffed, rolling her eyes again. “That’s not the price he is giving me. You really are an idiot. He doesn’t put up one big bounty, that’d be stupid. Because all the Bounty Hunters would be at each others throats trying to get to you.” She paused for a moment. “The amount is how much is reasonable to hire me. You’re just the target, status doesn’t change the price in the least.”

*He sighed again. He saw her point, but...he knew his father. He was the heir. He wouldn't be allowed to renounce his title. Unless he was dead.* I know that you have been trying to get me. Thats why you got me that drink.
*He did recognize her. He just had to think about it for a bit. But why was she talking to him. Shouldn't she try to take him back now? All she was doing was talking, trying to convince him to be grateful for things that he wasn't grateful for. He wasn't looking for her sarcasm or a speech.*
Well if your going to take me back "home" then better do it now. I've given up. I know that you'll win, so why keep trying?
*He closed his eyes moving his hand back to the phone in his pocket.* Well guess I didn't need it anyway. *He wished that he had destroyed the stupid thing much earlier. But it was off so it was pretty much a useless peace of metal and plastic. But why was she hesitating. Or was shy trying to get him to fight back. Well if that was the case, it was futile, he had already decided, and figured that it was no good fighting back.*

“You didn’t know until now. Did you really expect some friendly woman to be a Bounty Hunter?” Merfonde rolled her eyes. “Seriously, what sort of man suspects a woman?” She was scowling again, and she knew it was true. He hadn’t suspected her at all. Sure, he’d thought she had some motives for talking to him, but he’d never thought she was the one after him.
“Get up then. I’d rather not drag you all the way back.” She could, if she wanted, but that was just a waste of energy. She wasn’t hesitating, as he thought. She just wasn’t in a big rush to get him back the second she caught him. Usually there was a small fight, she won, and the person submitted to her control and she took them back. Today was just… different. He wasn’t putting up any resistance, so she felt no need to take him back quickly incase he tried to escape.
She had a bored expression on her face now, but she was obviously getting annoyed from waiting. Impatient, she grabbed him again dragging him to his feet and shoving him in the direction of the Airport. “Get moving already. You said you would cooperate after all.” She pulled her phone out of her pocket, redialing the number from earlier. When the Duke answered, she spoke. “I have him. He’ll be at the Airport in twenty minutes.” She hung up. The Duke would have someone there to pick up his annoying son by that time.

Not at all...that's why your probably one of the best. *It wasn't like he was trying to flatter her. It just seemed true. That girls would be the best for this job because no one expected them to be bounty hunters. He was slowly getting up to his feet when she quickly forced him up and pushed him.* Yea yea, I'll behave, but I'm not paying for anything. I have not money.
*So. She didn't now about the heirloom. Good, then he might be able to get some leverage on the man to pick him up. Plus all his stuff was there. He didn't have a lot but he had enough... Since most of it is things for street life, or "poor peoples" life his father wouldn't care if he left them. But the item.... that was a different story all together. But he was off to England. He wondered if he would ever be able to go outside the house at all... for anything other than apperences. And that included fancy parties, press conferences, and just being seen doing something for pablisity, because that someone payed them to be there and be seen. Yea...that was the life...the life he dreaded.*

Merfonde just rolled her eyes, finally a look of disgust on her face. Finally her true nature was showing through. She hated men. And that included even their unintentional flirtations. “Whatever. Just get moving, you’re royal pain in the ass.” She was obviously annoyed with him. Why? Well… He probably wouldn’t even realize why until he realized he’d half flirted.
She lead him off in the direction she knew the Airport was, staying right next to him, acting more like a girlfriend just so no one would suspect her of doing something suspicious. The entire walk was done in pure silence, Merfonde keeping a close eye on the heir and the crowd. Finally…. They reached the Airport.
Several of the Duke’s men stood out on the runway by a plane, obviously owned by Darin’s father, waiting. When they reached the men, Merfonde pushed him towards them. “One runaway heir.” She rolled her eyes a little, still annoyed he hadn’t put up any fight what so ever. One of the men held out an envelope, Merfonde snatching it up instantly. With ease she flipped it open, her eyes scanning the contents as if making sure everything was there. “Alright then. Have fun in your mansions.” She rolled her eyes again, turning away from them and leaving without another word.

*Dang, this girl couldn't take a complement...at all. Well he wasn't good with girls anyway. All the girls that he was forced to be around were flirts and nobles. He didn't want to be there so he just ignored them for the most part. Or complemented and had small talk.*
*Walking to the airport with a girl who wants to kill you isn't exactly the easiest thing. But he dealt with it. Darin recognized the plain as soon as it was in his view. He sighed heavily, with nothing to do but to accept his fate. The transaction went down smoothly but when the main guy asked for the item a smirk came to Darin's face.* What you think I'm that stupid? To keep that on me at all times. Don't be stupid.
*The man was obviously distressed. His orders were to bring the heir and the item back. Since he only had one, the plain couldn't fly off the ground. But Darin was keeping his mouth shut. He wasn't going to leak the information out. He just walked into the nice plain and got comfortable. He put on the mask of a noble. Acting like he had missed the high life, and all its advantages.*

Merfonde hadn't gotten far when one of the burly men grabbed her by the arm, pulling her back and saying something about only doing half the job. That was not a smart idea. Especially when you were dealing with Merfonde. Especially when you happened to be a man. Either way, the situation went from a normal exchange to very dangerous in the blink of an eye.
Merfonde flipped around, grabbing the man's arm so hard that it would bruise and flung him clean over her shoulder and onto his back. The commotion was so loud even Darin inside the plane would hear it. Before any of the men could react she'd pulled a pistol from it's strap around her ankle, around aimed at the man. All the other men's guns were aimed for her, but none dared to fire for one reason, she was a better marksmen then them, and she happened to have her weapon trained on one of them. She wouldn't miss from this distance.
"You listen hear, you overgrown gorilla. I was only hired to return that brat. I don't give a damn what he may have taken with him. Why should I care if he had some stupid heirloom with him?" She paused, glaring at him. "If you want me to get find the stupid thing then call your boss, because I'm not going to do it for free." All the while she kept her gun trained on the man, who dared not to even move a fraction of an inch.

*While on the plain, waiting Darin found an outlet with an I pod in it. It was his. It had all his music on it and everything. So taking it in his right hand he focused. He was "charging up" he didn't know what would happen, and he thought he should be ready for anything.*
*After he was back in his seat he herd the commotion. He walked to the enterence of the plain and sat there. He put his fake smile on. Even thought he as truly glad to see those munkey-for-brains "henchmen" get what they deserved. He knew that he couldn't escape, but he could watch. His father obviously thought he was stupid. Caring around a priceless heirloom just waiting to get caught. Not likely. He didn't pay this girl to get the item, but he prayed that he didn't start. Once he said she would get paid, then he would be forced into it. This girl didn't fool around.*
Guess it's true. Hell hath no fury...
*He smiled at the woman who called herself Mary. She was good and that was his way of complementing her. All though he did speak softly, not even sure she would hear.*

Merfonde didn't move for several moments, her gun trained on the man on the ground, her gaze on the others, as if daring them to fire their own weapons. She spotted the heir watching again, and she just gave him that same bone chilling stare as she was giving the others. It was obvious. She wouldn't even hesitate to fire if they pushed her to much. She really was a trained killer, giving no second thought to taking a life... Finally though her gaze dropped to her 'hostage' and she smirked when she spotted his horrified expression. "Are you going to try and touch me again?" He shook his head quickly, and she finally lowered her weapon, taking a few steps away so he could stand up and retreat to the others. They hadn't lowered their weapons yet, obviously not trusting her.
Again, she just smirked, as if finding it hilarious that they were distrustful of her. Of course they should be. They'd paid her for the job, and now she held no allegiance with them, at least.. Not anymore. A mercenaries allegiance lasted only as long as the contract. And when the job was done, they'd even kill former clients if another paid them well enough. Now they had to decide, leave before they pushed her any more, or call their boss and see if they should pay her to find the heirloom.

*Darin had to do something quick. He would be "doomed" for sure if this plane left the ground. But then he thought of something. The money. True he had none, but...that was it. He stood up and leaned on the door frame.*
You should check your money. Make sure it's all there. I wouldn't trust those baboons with any amount of money, and not spend a little.
*The shocked looks on their faces turned to curiosity, and one to horror. That was it. Darin was right. It might only be a penny, but she was a mercenary. She did a job and got paid the promised amount. if they weren't payed properly...then...well he didn't know what would happen. But he was curious to find out.*
*He let a heavy sigh leave as a portion of his true self let loose. He didn't want to go back, but what choice did he have. If he tried to leave the monkey's would tackle him down, not caring what happened to his body, just as long as he was alive. And that girl could always shoot him. She would probably shoot his legs or something...*

Merfonde actually froze when the heir mentioned the money. She wouldn't have been quick as shocked if she hadn't spotted the men's horrified expressions. She didn't bother opening the envelope to check the amount, their reaction alone said that they'd spent some of it. Her expression lost all emotion as she stared at them. If anything this look was even more terrifying then her last, if only because it was bare of any real reaction. There was one thing you never did to mercenaries, and that was not pay the full amount. Otherwise... Well things wouldn't end well.
Finally though, Merfonde started smirking, as if debating what she should do. Killing them wouldn't be a good idea, but she wasn't going to let them leave with out giving her the full amount. Or... She could just take the heir back until the full amount was paid. That would be the best plan. Because she wasn't letting him leave until she got the promised amount. "Change of plan." She crossed the distance between them, gun still in hand, finger still on the trigger, but it wasn't aimed at anyone.. Yet. "I'm keeping him." She pointed at the heir with her free hand. "Until you idiots get double. You don't short change me."
And just to make sure they didn't try to leave with him, she raised her gun again, pointed at the henchmen. "You don't have a problem with that, do you?" Her gaze was just as dark as before. Finally, she approached Darin, grabbing him by the arm and pushing him away from the plane. She pulled out her phone, redialing his father's number. "You're men are idiots. And because of them, we've had a few.. changes. I have your son, and I'm not going to hurt him. But unless you want me to bring him back, you owe me double. You try and hire another bounty hunter, they'll deny the job. I'm calling the Order now, and no one will accept a job from you again. You don't short change us."
She hung up, but dialed another number instantly, it was obviously the Order. She was going through with the threat, calling the order to deny all jobs from him. She explained quickly, and hung up with out another word. She glanced over her shoulder at the men, her gaze dark and weapon still in hand.

*The mask never came off as she rushed towards him. That got her. He wasn't tricking her. But that also meant that he couldn't be free anymore. Weather he wanted to or not she would hold him. Probably in a hotel room or something. it would take a while for everything to prosses in everyones minds then another while to get the money to France...safely. He stayed silent for the two phone calls. He then looked back at the men with a blank expression. The were idiots and no one could deny that now. But after this Darin was sure that they would be idiots with no jobs.*
So now what?
*He was new to this hole hostage situation, and wasn't exactly sure what mask to put on for it. He wasn't that scared because all she wanted was her money. She wont hurt him, even if she had threatened to kill him if the money wasn't payed. If he's dead...there's no money. She would have done this job for nothing. Witch mercenaries didn't do. He was sure that how ever long this happened for...it would probably be better than being back home.*
