Bobby stood there stunned at what Rose was suggesting. He had never heard of these bounty hunters, but the way she described them made him wish he never did, but it seemed like he was about to. Apocalypse stood there with his fingers drumming on his arm, looking at Rose with a look that only said he was thinking on the news.
"I have heard of these bounty hunters. I have made sure my minions avoided them at all costs."
He continued to listen to her as she spoke about someone owing her a favor. What bounty hunter would owe Rose a favor? What did she do that would've made the woman even think of paying off such a debt.
"These bounty hunters are not careless fools. What did you do to make her owe you anything? And what makes you think she won't turn on either of us once the task is complete?"
He knew that Bobby wasn't exactly a powerful mutant, not yet anyway, his only worry was the leader of this mission as well as his own safety. Once Crystal was back with him, he would be able to return to his base and begin his operations on moving the starcraft.

It was no surprise that Bobby didn't know a word she was talking about. It wasn't a subject you learned in school after all. The only Bounty Hunters the school had ever seen were stupid humans getting in over their head because they thought the school would be an easy hit. Only when she was asked how one owed her a favor, she smiled slyly. "Why do you want to know?" She paused for a moment, shrugging dramatically. "It's a secret. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone what happened, so I can't elaborate more then that." Another pause as she blinked in surprise. "She's from the Order. They don't randomly attack any mutant they see, and they don't always kill them."
Rose had paused yet again, sighing. "The Order is an organization of Human Bounty Hunters. But they are more like mercenaries. They'll do anything you pay them to do, whether it's assassinating a bothersome mutant, or even catching a dangerous runaway and taking them somewhere where they can learn to control their power. They're specialty isn't assassinations. It's simply overpowering mutants in general." Yet another pause as she thought. "Not to mention, they aren't always the enemy to mutants. I've heard of plenty of mutants using them as well. The Runaways in Canada often use their services to track down dangerous mutants who can't live with society."
Rose ran her fingers through her short hair, still bothered by the length, thinking once more. "She won't turn on us. I can promise you that." Finally she focused her gaze on the two men once more. "If you want... I can call her, have her come here to prove her worth?"

"So...the Order is like some sort of control group for mutants?"
It still didn't sit well with Bobby, thinking about a group of humans who spent their time tracking mutants and bringing them to more "secluded" areas. How many of them had tracked mutants and brought them here? The thought brought chills down his spine, and he was use to the cold.
"I dunno, it seems a bit risky, but if you're ok with her then I guess I'll believe you."
He still had his doubts, but he trusted Rose and she hasn't let anybody in the mansion down yet, not willingly anyway. He looked up to Apocalypse who's arms were crossed, but instead of that blank stare he usually had, he had that half smile that often meant he was thinking of something that would either end up helping them or hurting them. He had a feeling it was going to be the latter half.
"Very well," Apocalypse said in a challenging smile, "Bring your friend. Let us see what she has to bring on this mission. See if she's...worthy enough as you say she is." If bobby's face could drain anymore color, it did then.

Rose just shrugged at Bobby's question. "Well, that's one way of putting it." A control Group. It made sense, after all, it'd be chaos if humans couldn't stand a chance against mutants. IF that were the case, humans would have become extinct long ago.
When they both seemed to give in, Rose smiled brightly. "Believe me, you won't be disappointed. I get have her here in a few hours." She turned on her heels, running back to the infirmary to use the phone there. Considering Rose's own cell phone was... well gone, she had no other means of contacting the bounty hunter then the land line. Thankfully she remembered the number to contact the Order, and they were able to patch her through to the specific Bounty hunter. In only a matter of minutes everything was handle, and the Bounty Hunter willing to come to the school.
Rose returned to the two, with a bit more of a serious approach. "Two hours. She'll be here in two hours, tops." Her smile was small, as if pleased with herself but unwilling to express herself more then that. Soon they'd see exactly what she'd meant when she said even the most powerful of mutants should fear these people...

Both Bobby and Apocalypse exchanged glances when she smiled and took off out of the room, waiting patiently for her to return. When she finally did return, her smile seemed smaller, as if she was wishing to keep herself in more control then before. Apocalypse continued to stare at her before averting his eyes to the hologram, his own thoughts wandering as he worried about Crystal.
"Um...I guess I'll go do some training. Call me when she's in ok?" he looked to Rose before heading out of the door.
Apocalypse still just stared in silence as they waited, paying no mind to Rose for the time being. He then looked up at her, as if scanning to see if she really was the Rose that had died not long ago.
"Tell me. How is it you came to be standing here. Last I remember, reports said that you had died trying to save that boy and his little friends. He was a poor excuse for a mutant after your passing. Couldn't even run the grounds in less than a second."
He smirked at that thought, though his curiosity as to why Rose was alive was more then his little about Ian. He did find Ian's loss of powers amusing, but something about Rose dieing and coming back made him more curious.

Rose just when Bobby left, asking that they tell him when she got there. She'd go find him when that happened. It was then that she was left completely alone with the man, Apocalypse. He was giving her a strange look, before finally saying what was on his mind. Rose's small smile vanished. Was he one of the people that needed to know what happened?
She sighed, leaning against the hologram projector and staring at it's current projection. "You can't tell anyone, I promised I'd only tell people that need to know. Everyone else... Well I'm supposed to tell them a telepath moved my consciousness." Her tone had gone serious, barely loud enough for Apocalypse to hear, obviously not wanting any eavesdroppers.
"I did die, sort of. But there's a split second after you die that you're still there, in a way, right before you disappear. It's not much, but at that time someone pulled me away from vanishing. I don't know what she did exactly, but she put my consciousness in a barely passed body. She told me that no one should have to die that young..."
Rose sighed once more, not reverting her gaze from the image. "She told Ian about me not being really dead. That's how he got caught, he went to find me while I was still under the illusion of being the former host." Her eyes were emotionless, but it seemed like anger was welling up inside her. How could Sky do this? How could she be trying to take out revenge for Rose's suicide on Ian?!

"I see. Could such a mutant posess such power?"
He thought for a moment, trying to figure out who would be able to do this. He continued to think even as she began to talk about Ian. He looked to her and smirked, giving his own soft laugh as he did.
"It was a foolish quest the boy chose. If he had the sense he would've just ignored what was said and continue on with his life."
He found the fact she was growing angry not worth his attention. Emotion was never something he considered worthwhile, which was partly why he found Crystal's company slightly...comforting. No emotion and no willingness to disobey him, just a girl who answered his questions and gave advice.
"I hope she will arrive soon. The more they have Crystal in their grasp, the more likely she will reveal both the brotherhood and X-mansions weakness."
He didn't really care much for what happened to the X-Men, it was more the brotherhood he was worried about, but he figured that if he spoke about the X-Mansion it would cause her to try and speed things up, though he wasn't sure if this bounty hunter would be able to complete the quest.

Rose slowly nodded. "You might have heard about her. People with heavy connections to the mutant world can sometimes hear rumors. When I was with my former family, I used to hear stories, but I never thought they could be real. They say a woman who can live forever was the founder of the Milena's, that even though she's hundreds of years old she can look as old as she wants, and she's been able to watch over her descendants with out ever being seen." She was staring off into space, deep in thought as she tried to recall anything else she'd heard about the woman. "That's all I really remember. You'd have to ask someone from one of the Ancient families for the rest." If she'd known he actually did have a member of an Ancient family on his side...
Rose's smirk saddened, her gaze dropping to the ground as she took a few steps away from the hologram and leaned up against a wall. "I sort of wish that to. I hate how he let my 'death' completely destroy him. He knew there would be casualties in the war, some closer then others. Even if the closest person to you dies, you shouldn't let it stop you from doing what needs to be done." It might hurt Ian's feelings if she told him that, that if he had died she would have mourned for him, but if anything it would have motivated her even more to end the war, that she wouldn't let a person's life hinder her abilities. Perhaps that was the Nightshade part of her, but it was something you had to learn in a world filled with war.
"She'll be here soon, just be patient." She paused for a moment, closing her eyes and folding her arms. "Crystal. How important is she? You guys make her sound like a little kid, so how would she know the Brotherhood and X-men's weaknesses?"

"Indeed."
He formed a half smile once more, knowing that he had indeed acquired a member of the ancient families, but he wouldn't tell Rose that. He looked at the hologram as well as she continued to speak about Ian. Though he had no emotions of his own, he had been around enough to know when someone was feeling a certain emotion.
"Love is a foolish emotion. Some say it brings strength, I have only seen ." he looked to her.
He truly had seen enough times where emotions such as love and companionship bring nothing but heartache and . It was one of the benefits of being emotionless, even with Crystal, whom he considered a valuable asset to his army. When she asked about Crystal and why she was valuable, he looked up to her.
"Crystal is a unique mutant. She knows nothing about what is going on in the world, yet ask a question and she will tell you everything about it. Though she suffers from headaches and fainting if given too much, she destroyed the device I created to subdue those side affects. Though she can still fall unconscious, she will tell you anything you wish to know. Anything. It is likely Shadow is using that to her advantage, to what ends I know not."

It was obvious, Rose's time in 'hibernation' had changed her. It'd given her time to think, to come to terms with things that before now she'd been uncertain about. Not to mention... This body was older then her previous, so she'd matured far faster then should be physically possible.
"Love something to much, and you'll only have heartbreak in the end." She paused, her gaze distant still. "True, sometimes you can't help it, but in a world like this... Who would do something so stupid..?" Previously, before her death she had liked Ian. More then a friend, more then family. But seeing how he'd suffered... How could she risk wounding her heart like that? How could she love someone when the chance of them dying was so high?
She listened in silence to what Apocalypse said about Crystal. The power was amazing, and terrifying in one breath. Someone that useful in the hands of Cain and Shadow was dangerous. They could know anything they wanted. "Then we had best hurry in rescuing h-"
Rose was cut off when someone, a student came running down into the room, panting from running a long ways. "A woman with a weird tattoo is at the gate looking for 'Lily'." "Could you take her to the Danger room, please?" The student nodded, before scurrying off, and Rose was smirking again as she looked to Apocalypse. "It looks like the Bounty Hunter is here. Oh... And please, don't let anyone know who I really am. Not yet at least." She shrugged away from the wall, heading towards the Danger room.

You could imagine Merfonde's surprise when she got a phone call from the supposedly dead 'Rose Nightshade', but the girl had just told her that she'd explain it all when Mero got to the school. She'd also mentioned calling Merfonde out on the favor she owed her, and swore that once Merfonde did this one favor, they would be through, Merfonde wouldn't owe Rose a single thing again. So, a little reluctant, Merfonde decided to go and check out this favor. And that meant going to the one place she'd never dared go before, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
It wasn't that she feared the place, she just knew if she ever had a job there it would be impossible. She might have skill and equipment on her side, but they had numbers, and when you got down to it, numbers were more important then skill any day.
Merfonde had been in New York at the time, so it wasn't a long way, only a thirty minute drive when you were going over the speed limit. Before to much time had passed, Merfonde was at the gates. With a sigh she swung her bag over her shoulder, running her fingers through her hair as she gazed upon the place. She looked like any woman on the streets except for one thing, a decorative tattoo was etched across her forehead and down the left side of her face. She flagged down a student to go tell 'Lily' that she was there, and when the student returned they lead her into the school, down into the lower levels to a room called the 'Danger Room', which was used for training.
'Lily' and her friend weren't there yet, so Merfonde leaned up against the wall, armed crossed and head bowed slightly as she seemed to meditate... waiting...

Apocalypse smirked when Rose said that their "guest" was here. He was glad to see he had pressed the importance of Crystal onto her, though his thoughts about Ian were small. He really didn't care if the boy did die, his only thought was getting Crystal out of the island before Shadow did anything that would put them all in danger. He would find out what when they got her.
Merfonde could hear noises coming from inside the danger room. Crashes, and a strange sound as if things were being frozen solid, as well as flame throwers and other dangerous items. It was Bobby, working on the next level of his training. He was in full ice form, his entire body completely frozen. He had perfected his offense and had been perfecting an "ice sheild" to surround him.
The walls opened and flame throwers began firing at him from all sides. His ice sheild was holding, but barely. He gritted his teeth and pushed out, using as much force as he could. All at once the sheild exploded outwards, causing the entire room to freeze. He stood there winded, his frozen form fading to normal. Outside the room was silence.

Merfonde grew bored of waiting as Rose and Apocalypse made their way to the Danger Room. So, to pass the time she listened to the commotion coming from instead. With her eyes closed she could identify every sound coming from with in, her honed senses picking up everything. Someone was obviously training, and every few moments she would catch the sound of flam throwers, which ruled out this being a fire user. They were obviously ice, if only because that was the most frequent sound she heard. It was also only one person, otherwise she'd pick up the sounds of multiple people.
The commotion lasted only a few minutes, before everything fell silent. Slowly Merfonde opened her eyes, her hard gaze wandering to stare at the door. Somehow it picked up on her presence, seeing as she was right by it, and slid open, much like an automatic sliding door that opened whenever someone approached. Inside, she saw one man, who looked completely exhausted, the whole room was covered in ice. So it was an ice user. She smirked a little. The guy looked younger then her, and must have been a member of the X-men. He on the other hand wouldn't know a thing about her... Unless he recalled Rose inviting a Bounty Hunter to the school. He might jump to that conclusion, if only because she wouldn't be at all familiar to him.

He looked up when he heard the door slide open, wondering if it was Rose or Apocalypse coming to tell him that the guest had arrived. What he saw made him stand in disbelief, though standing was a little bit of a trouble. He hadn't used so much of his power like that before, but the result seemed to work the way he hoped it would. He looked around at his work before looking to the again, not really recognizing her, but then his eyes widened in surprise.
"Are you...her?"
Her being the bounty hunter Rose had spoke of. He was expecting someone looking tough and able to take down anybody in her path. The in front of him looked more y then tough, but he could tell she wasn't someone to mess with. To be honest, he would even say she was...cute. He looked around again as he realized that he had completely frozen the official meeting room it seems.
"Um...sorry about that, I was perfecting a new skill and I...guess I over did it." He smiled, trying not to look like too much of a fool as he stood there.

Merfonde's gaze was ice cold as she just stared at him, before shifting to examine his work a little better. Overdone it was an understatement. After a few moments her gaze returned to him, an eyebrow raising. "And her being who exactly? You really expect me to know what your talking about? Really, why do all of you just assume everyone can read minds." Merfonde rolled her eyes then. She was always this sarcastic, it wasn't anything personal.
She knew he was instantly underestimating her. She was a woman after all, a thin, slender woman. But that was how she worked, it was how she got all her jobs done, by being underestimated. If she'd known he thought she was cute... She might have shot at him. She wasn't one who took kindly to men complimenting her. Not to mention, she'd gotten the facial tattoo specifically to avoid the word!
Finally though, she sighed, pushing herself off the wall and turning to fully face the younger man in the room, not daring the enter though. Full view, he's notice a few things, like the gun holster around her belt, along with slight groves along her jeans and stomach where other weapons must be hidden. "You know why I'm here then?"
Just then Rose and Apocalypse came into sight, Merfonde's gaze already settled on the spot before they were even spotted.
