*Scelia had been in her bedroom for two days straight, not leaving for food, classes, or even training her swords. All she did was either sleep or lay on her bed. Never did she get up, never did she practice speaking, which is what she usually did in her room. All she could think about was what happened to Crys (read Relaxing) and how she wasn't able to help him. She rathered to die in her room than face him again... She had spoken for the first time in her life to him, and she had said HIS name. She never wanted to face that again.*

Crys was finally out of the hospital. it had been just three and a half days ((yes, he does heal that fast from a gun wound. if you notice on my profile, it says he is kindof super strong and everything; this makes his cells heal pretty fast too.)) he was extremely worried about her, and wanted to find her, but he didn't know where her room was. he searched the third floor, and asked students for directions. once he found it, he hesitated, not knowing what he should say. but then, he realized that she was probably really torn up about what had happened in the forest and how she had fainted down in the garage. he decided that it would be best if he were to talk to her. he slowly raised his hand, and softly knocked on the door.

*Scelia wipped a few tears from her face as she heard the knock. She sat up, for the first time in three days, and stared at the door. She decided she was strong enough to walk. She slowely got up off her bed and slowely walked to the door. She opened it, very slowely, but only a crack. She looked out and saw Crys. Her eyes widened but she couldn't do anything but stare, wide-eyed.*

Crys could hear from inside the door that someone got off a bed and slowly walked to the door. the knob turned slowly, and at the same time, Crys' heart sped up. the door cracked open slightly, and he saw someone peering out from behind it. his heart fluttered more. she must have been worried sick; he knew he had been. *Scelia? is that you? it's me, Crys.* he knew that it was her, but he didn't want to startle her. *i'm sorry that i didn't come sooner. what have you been doing in here all this time? Scarlet told me that you haven't left at all!* a tear slowly rolled down his cheek. *are you all right?* he said, his voice cracking. he didn't know what had come over him. he suddenly felt very emotional and concerned for her. his eyes welled up again, spilling more tears.

*Scelia nodded when he asked if it was her. Then when he started acting concerned about her and when he started tearing, all Scelia could do was turn her face downward. She didn't open the door or close it anymore than it was already. She just stood there, thinking how horrible she felt that all that was happening pretty much happened because of her. If she hadn't been trying to read that book in the courtyard that one day, none of this would have happened. Yes, they would have met later, but things like this wouldn't have happened...*

*oh sheesh, * thought Crys. he could tell from her body language that she felt that it was her fault. his tears fell all the faster. *oh, Scelia! this isn't any of your fault!* he said, sniffing slightly. if it hadn't been for him, they never would have happened. it was his idea to go on that flight. *may I come in?* he asked.

*Scelia looked up at Crys, her face obviously stained with three days worth of tears. She nodded slightly and moved backwards while pulling the door towards her. After that, she went to the edge of her bed and sat. There was an imprint in the middle of the bed, where she had layed, not moving, forever still.*

when Scelia looked up at him, he studied and memorized her face. he never wanted her to look like that again.he then slowly walked in the door, and closed it almost all the way, not quite latching. he didn't want anyone to intrude, but he didn't want Scelia to worry either. he carfully walked toward her, and opened his wings wide so that he could sit down next to her. on her right side, he put one wing off to the side and slowly wrapped his left one around her, cringing slightly from the pang of pain that shot up his arm. it wasn't entirely healed, but mostly. just a little sore. he had had some practice with sympathizing with girls before. whenever his sister had been sad for some reason, he had usually done this kind of thing. he stretched out the "forearm" of the wing and pulled Scelia in close. then, he slowly wrapped his real arms around her upper body, and let her lean her head in on his shoulder. *i'm so sorry* he whispered into her ear. he didn't really know what to say. sometimes a hug was all that one needed.

*Scelia didn't once look at Crys, even when he came and sat next to her and pulled her close to him. All she could look at was the floor in front of her. When Crys said he was sorry, Scelia's eyes closed, trying to push the tears away. She let her head rest on his shoulder, but kept her arms and hands clenched together on her lap.*

Crys noticed her hands, and moved his own back from around her and reached out with both hands and grasped hers. he wanted to make her not so tense. he could see that she still thought even remotely that it was her fault. he kept his left wing around her, and then turned slightly to look at her directly. *none of this had anything to do with you,* he said softly. *you were at no fault. please, Scelia, don't feel bad about me. i'm fine now. there's no harm done.* and with that he reached with one hand over to his right wing and ruffled up his feathers looking for a good-sized one; when he found it, he plucked it quickly out of his own wing and turned back to Scelia, and put the feather in her hair, then slowly moving his hand down to her cheek, just like the last time. *i'm sorry that I lost the first one, but this is to replace it.* he said, and dropped his hand back down to her hands, clasping them around hers. *please try to cheer up. you probably have classes to go to. you're going to get behind.* his expression was pleading, and soft. all he wanted was for her to come back to normal.

*Scelia jerked a little bit when Crys took her hands, but she relaxed her hands, the touch of his hands on hers comferting. When he said she was at no fault, a tear slowely crept down her face. As he put the feather in her hair, she slowely turned her own gaze upon his face, her eyes glassy from tears and her face having a sheen from the days before. She moved her hand to the feather, not removing it, but touching it in her hair. She had never had anything in her hair before, so this was something new to her (other than the time before, but that doesn't count since she fainted right after). Scelia looked away from Crys, but put her head back on his shoulder. She didn't want to move, though hunger and thirst ate at her. It was dangerous, since it had been at least three days. She was weak, and she didn't want to leave the comfort of Crys.*

Crys remained calm, but inside him was a boiling feelings, some of which he didn't know if he liked still, trying to get out of him. he pulled up his sweater sleeve with his hand and used the edge of it to wipe away her tears. then when she put her head back on his shoulder, he slowly rocked her slightly back and forth, putting his arms around her again. he looked down at her, and saw that it really was true that she had stayed there for days, not leaving. her hair was slighly messy, and there was a large indentation in her bed; she looked as if she hadn't eaten in a long time, and she probably hadn't. he suddenly remembered something! *oh, Scelia, I just thought of something,* he said, reaching with one hand down to his belt. he had a small package filled with food and a bottle of water in a pouch. he unclipped it and opened it up and pulled out a couple of muffins and some other food odds and ends; he had planned before coming up to her room, and baked a few things and got a couple of items from the kitchen. he handed these to her, saying,*you look terrible. you must be hungry and thirsty from staying here all the time. here, eat these.* ((just fyi, people usually are only able to survive for about 3 days from lack of water, so in the future, you might want to lessen the time, or have a small amount of water sometime hehe i know i'm such a nerd))

((Chris, do I have to specify everything? The reason she was moving so slowely is because she WAS dying. Gosh, stupid...)) *Scelia took one of the muffins (she likes muffins sometimes) and took tiny bites. Her stomach was extremely small at this point, so too much food, as she knew, would make her extremely sick. She sipped a tiny bit of water, but nothing really satisfied her. She pretty much still wanted to die, but now that she was in Crys' arms, she was feeling a little bit better about still being alive.*
*Never once did she look back up into Crys' eyes.*

((ok I see that. by the way you spelled slowly wrong. tee hee.)) Crys understood that she would probably only eat a little, but he knew that she would eat more in time. he squeezed her a bit, and sat there just holding her for a great long while. then he said, *would you like me to stay here for the rest of the day?* he didn't know what exactly he should do. if he left her again, there was no telling what she might do to herself. she still seemed to be deep in depression and think that it was all her fault still; if he stayed, nothing would happen, and the sun would go down. eventually he would either have to leave, or stay overnight in another part of the room.
