*The preparations had been made and it was June 23rd, the big day. A small church closeby had been found, decorated, and prepared for a wedding. Soft green cloth entwined with cream-colored ribbon lined the pews leading to the pulpit. Most of the Runaways and maybe a few others sat in the pews, waiting for the bride to enter. Connor stood with the priest, awaiting.*

*Conner was standing still, nervous for no aperent reason. He was figiting with his tie, untill one of the runaways got his attention and told him to stop doing that. He now only waited for his beautiful bride to come. Seconds passed by, but it felt longer, was she baling on him? Did she change her mind? But then he had to shake his head and realize that she would never do that, not Nelly.*

*Nelly stood behind the two-door entrance, figiting with her boquet. She was nervous as heck. She knew Conner was the man she wanted to be with, but somehow her knees were shaking horribly. Nelly did not know if she could do this. She started pacing. The organ was playing beautifully, telling her it was time to come out. But, her legs weren't getting the message that they needed to move. She started stressing so much that one of the flowers in her boquet started dissintegrating. Nelly looked down, shocked, then slapped herself with her gloved hand. She stood before the door, taking a deep breath. She could do this.*
"Ugh, why is fighting people so much easier than doing this?"

*Conner would have agreed with Nelly, if he had herd her over the sound of the organ. His hands two were gloved and he was all covered eccept for his head. But that didn't matter, he knew that he was sucking up energy, he assumed that it was because he was so nervous. So he started to releace energy slowly into the growned, he didn't know where else to put it. He hoped that it would do, but he didn't have his meater on him, it was back in his changing room with the cloths that he wore to the church.*

Wicked, like most of the Runaways(other than Maron), was most definitely in attendance for the wedding. No way would she miss a chance like this! Ah, the first wedding among the Runaways- Uh… On second thought that was a sort of creepy idea. Would that mean soon they’d have second generation runaways running around? The thought made Wicked pale. The crying…. Screaming…. Lack of sleep…. Oh Dear Lord. She’d have to make sure they built their own little house on the Runaways land so no one else would have to deal with the chaos.
But, she had to give them both her best wishes. She’d already harassed Conner plenty, teasing that he wouldn’t be able to flirt with any other girls, and how he’d permanently lose his bet with Xenthron… If that bet was still going. Now it was Nelly’s turn. For some reason though, when she saw the red haired bride pacing like she intended to wear a path in the floor, all thoughts of harassment went flying out the window.
Sighing, she approached the bride, wearing a simple, pale blue dress and long white gloves she caught hold of both Nelly’s shoulders and spun her around, where Nelly would see probably the softest smile Wicked had ever given. “Calm down. You’re only making yourself even more nervous. Just take a deep breath and think. What’s there to be nervous about?” She paused. “You have the most beautiful dress. You look absolutely stunning. And you have the most absolutely perfect guy waiting for you, willing to spend the rest of his life with you! If you’re nervous just think how he feels. Not to mention I didn’t exactly help reassure him…”

*Nelly breathed with Wicked, so glad that she was here to help. She was right, what was there to be nervous about. All the things she said were correct. They were getting married. Finally... But wait.*
"Wait, what did you do to him?"
*But before Wicked could explain, the two doors opened. All the blood drained from her face as she realized how many people were looking at her. But then she looked at Conner and everything else seemed to drift away. Without noticing herself, her feet moved her along the carpeted aisle and she approached the pulpit. ((Now to reveal the dress))*

((Dont want to change so I'm gonna be both Conner and Xenthron in this post))
*Xenthron was there, in a black hoody and long jeans, with boots to cover his feet. He had the hood up and his sunglasses on. He wasn't going to take any chances. But he also wasn't going to miss this. He did have many bitter feelings twards Conner, he was the first of the two to get married, and Xenthron was older than that brat of a boy. He gritted his teeth in silence as Nelly started to make it to the pulpit.*
*Conner was stunned, there she was, the most beautiful girl in the world, and she was just about to marry him. He smiled but kept on draining the constantly coming in energy. He knew that there was going to be trouble if he got to much energy.*

There was no time to explain what she might have done to Conner, but her usual, name sake, wicked smile crossed her lips. As if to leave it to Nelly’s imagination. Knowing Wicked, it could be quite a few things, but none of them were pleasant. Most likely answer? She’d probably threatened the boy guy witless if he ever did anything to hurt Nelly, intentionally or not. And knowing Wicked, she’d most definitely go through with the threats.
Only when the doors opened did she give Nelly a soft push to get started, before sneaking in to take a seat in one of the aisles. And so the first wedding among them began. Thank God Wicked hadn’t been the first. Actually, she was sure everyone would laugh until they died if she said she was getting married. But that was besides the point. Today was Conner’s and Nelly’s day. And she’d make sure everything went according to plan…. By any means necessary.

*The priest started, giving the usual marriage sermon. He droned on and on, but as Nelly gazed into Conner's eyes, holding his warm hands, she listened to every single word. They meant something to her, something that would bind her to him.*
"Do you, Conner Allred, take Nelly O'Reilly to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

*Conner was also worried about Maron, and wanted her here, but as soon as Nelly took his hand he was absolutly hers, all focuse on her. He didn't even here the sermon eccept for when the priest mentioned his name and asked the question.* I do *He smiled at Nelly, he was so happy, that he almost forgot to keep draining the energy into the ground.*

*The priest nodded at Conner then turned to Nelly. He asked the same question, though putting the names in the right places. She looked at the priest when he asked, took a breath, and spoke.*
"I do."
*She smiled back at Conner, so glad she was able to say it. The priest smiled as well, then continued.*
"If there be any who do not think these two should be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace."
*They all waited, knowing no one would speak out. Why did they even include this part anyway? The priest was ready to continue...*

There was one, very good, very frightening, reason no one would dare to object, even if they did have objections. And that, was Wicked. She'd faded into the background during most of the wedding, but snapped into full attention when the Priest addressed the community. Oh, she would not let anyone object! No way in hell! With half narrowed eyes, she let her gaze wash over the other celebrators, half daring them to even think about objecting, and half threatening them if they did.
And if Wicked were to object, it would be for one reason. To make them both swear to get their own house if they had any kids. Sure, they'd still be on the Runaways' land, but most took refuge in one building. No one would want little rugrat children running around. For one, that would be extremely dangerous with some of their residents, and it would just plain get on Wicked's nerves. But no, she wouldn't bring up an objection for that. She'd just drill it into their heads after the reception.

*No one seemed to have any objections, so the priest smiled. He went on for a sec about something random then finished.*
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife."
*He looked at Conner and smiled.*
"You may now kiss your bride."

*Conner once again zoned out for the rambling that the annoying priest did. But when he looked at Conner he looked at the priest. Smiling he then turned his attention to Nelly and passionately kissed her. He focused all that he could not to suck any power from Nelly.*

*((Since I can't think of anything really to say, they left the church and headed off on their honeymoon, since Nelly did NOT want to have a reception. She wanted to get out of there as soon as possible... And be all alone with Conner, if you know what I mean ))*
