As of late, life at the school had become painfully dull, especially for someone like Mairead who suffered under dull and boring circumstances. She needed something, anything to keep herself busy. Otherwise, she just might go mad, and that wasn't an understatement. Mairead bored was almost a death sentence to whoever ran into her. Unless of course you were Train, Ace, or Kolm.
Unfortunately none of them were around. Mairead had somehow climbed up onto the roof with out anyone catching her. Currently, she lay on her stomach, her arms folded over the Roof line, head resting on them as she watched everything happening far below. She twitched, suddenly getting very annoyed at just about everything. Everyone running around with their friends. The birds flying around with out a care in the world. Even the sun for being so... cheerful and bright.
Mairead grumbled, shaking her head a little and closing her eyes. "Stupid day..." She grumbled again, growling a little. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid day."

*Train was also board and he felt very alone right now. He walked past people with lovers and friends, smiles on their faces and not even noticing anything else around them. On the other hand Train was actually looking for Mairead but didn't know where to look, he already checked the training rooms and her room and even Ace and Kolm. He was sure she was somewhere but had no idea where.*

If Mairead had known Train was looking for her, she'd be at his side in a heartbeat. As it was though, she thought he was with Hazel or Hank, having his weekly check up. It did annoy her a little that he had to go so often, but at least it wasn't as often as before. It seemed like his headaches were starting to ease a little, his attacks becoming less frequent.
She opened her eyes, staring down at the mutants again with slightly narrowed eyes. So annoying... Normally, she would have tried to disrupt their happy go lucky ways, but she didn't feel like it. The sun on her back... It made her lazy, just wanting to lay there and relax. And sulk, most definitely sulk, for being to lazy to do anything about the people. If only Train would hurry, and come find her. When he was around, she didn't get these destructive thoughts.

*Train was nearing the watch tower and thought he saw something on top of it. He decided to send Ceasar to run ahead while he started his way up there. He hoped that it was Mairead, but the heat was starting to make him dizzy and he started to sway slightly.*

With a sigh, Mairead sat up, trying to decide or not of she should stay on the super hot roof tiles or slide down onto a balcony. That is, until she spotted something small and puffy bounding up onto the roof. Ceasar? Yup, most definitely. She'd recognize that rat anywhere from all all it's time being a third wheel. She smirked softly. If Ceasar was there, that meant Train wasn't far behind!
She was instantly on her feet, balancing shakily on the roof line as she worked her way to the spot Ceasar had come from, scooping up the rat as she passed him. And there was Train, working is way to her. Her smirk softened into a warm smile as she hopped down onto the balcony he stood on. "All done with the doctors for the day?"

*Train was so glad that he found Mairead and he smiled at her.* Yea, it was just a quick check up. *He saw Ceasar who was now on her shoulders, making himself comfortable. He walked over to Mairead and smiled as he gazed into her eyes, he couldn't get enough of her beauty. His headache did go away slightly and he didn't feel as dizzy as before.*

Mairead smiled brightly then. "Well that's good! I'd hate for it to be another one of their 'lockdowns'. It's so hard to sneak you out of the school when every teacher is keeping you on a short leash." Of course, that didn't stop her. She'd still get him out of the school somehow, even if it did mean melting down a wall.
She paused for only a moment when Train was utterly mesmerized, gazing dreamily into her eyes like he often did. Mairead let him have his moment. But, only a moment. A few seconds passed, and she suddenly grinned, taking one quick step forward and balancing up on her tipy toes. Her arms instantly wrapped around his neck, her lips quickly coming to meet his. It was only a quick peck though, that mischievous grin on her lips as they parted. She was most definitely teasing him. "So? Were you looking for me?"

*Train allowed Mairead to kiss him then smiled back at her.* Yes I was, but you have so many hiding places. *He knew that if he kept thinking about Mairead and not about his head ache, it would go away. At least that was what he hoped.*

Mairead smiled sheepishly when he mentioned her having many hiding places. "I wouldn't say I have many, only a dozen or two." Yeah, more then a dozen wasn't 'many' hiding places, or so Mairead thought. But it did make it rather difficult to find her sometimes. There were places she did, of course, favor. Like the roof and lake, but even then having to search those spots had proven to be either dangerous or time consuming.
It was then, she noticed that the very slight strain on his expression. Her eyes and smile softened a touch. "Is it hurting again...?" She was in sync with Train when it came to his headaches, able to pick up the subtle hints of either a growing or fading headache.

*He smiled, hiding it less.* It's fine, its just a hot day and lots happened that I saw. *He was referring to present and past. He constantly had nightmares of that fateful night when his power activated and he saw his parents die.*

"Do you want to go in then?" She didn't want the heat to give him headaches if she could help it. They didn't seem to get rather bad when she was around now a days, but before he would pass out from them. She didn't want to risk that happening again.
Right then, of course, she smiled just a tad more. "But shouldn't you be used to extreme heat from spending so much time with me?" Mairead did control immense concentrations of heat after all, and had used the power more then a hundred times around Train.

*That coment made Train giggle a little bit.* It's strange but sometimes it comes when it's really hot out. *He didn't understand it but the more he thought about it the more it started to hurt.*

"Hmmmm...." She gave him an extremely thoughtful look, as if trying to figure out why it was like that. After a few moments she gave up, grinning brightly. "Well then. We should get you back inside then where it's nice and cold."
Almost reluctantly she unwrapped her arms from around his neck, though quickly took his hand in her own, entangling her fingers with his as she tugged softly, leading him back inside the school and off the balcony.

*Train held tightly to Mairead and allowed her to take him inside. Once inside he swung her around so that she was in front of him and wrapped his arms around her tightly. Staying there for only a moment he let go and looked down at her.* What shall we do now?

Mairead giggled softly when he swung her around and wrapped her in his arms, though the disappointment when he let go was instantly visible on her face. After a few moments, she returned to her slightly cheerful self, making a show of being deep in thought. "Hmmmmmmmmmm....." She tapped her chin softly, her lips pursed over dramatically and hip stuck far out to the side. "I'm not sure. What did you have in mind?"
