((XP *dies* Alice… Not April. You keep doing that. April is the teleporter.))
Hazel blinked, at first a little surprised that he’d taken it that way. A second later, she laughed. “No, no. I don’t mean that kind of strength.” She contained her laughter, though couldn’t hide her wide grin. “I meant if he came to terms, and accepted it. No longer letting his hatred run his motives and actions.” She paused. “He must decide, whether to fight for lives already gone… Or lives yet to be taken.”
Much like what many of the X-men had once faced, and probably why they were so good at what they did. They did not fight for personal gain or revenge. They fought for those that could not.

((yeah yeah))
He understood his little flaw in what she said, and couldn't help but smile when she did. He sighed and took another look at Hazel, then looked to Tokra.
"I just hope he's strong enough to decide."

Hazel smiled, though it was just as sad as the one before. “You’re not the only one.” She finally paused, sighing and rubbing her nose. “Well. Now that your patients have been attended to, it seems we both have some time on our hands.” She paused for a moment, her smile warming up again. “Would you like some coffee?”
Ah, Coffee. At times it felt like she lived on the stuff, as sometimes you found you didn’t even have enough time to sneeze, let alone sleep.

Another sigh as more thoughts about what could happen when and if Tokra woke up plagued him. He took off his glasses, his eyes almost red from lack of sleep, he rubbed the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger. When Hazel mentioned coffee, he stood up and looked around, making one last check on his patients. He couldn't help but feel more relieved that Hazel had "come to the rescue".
"Coffee sounds like a dream come true. I would love some"

Hazel chuckled softly, her grin warm and bright as she rolled to her feet. "I know exactly how you feel. At least you're only exhausted." She worked her way towards the back office, leaving the door open as she began to prepare some coffee with the coffee maker that was always back there. "You'd probably be a patient yourself if Heather was one of these four. She'd give you such a headache with all her jumping around, and yelping and refusing treatment as she tried to escape out the door." She paused. "Well.. You might actually have more luck with catching her then I do."
Obviously Hazel couldn't keep up with the part tiger woman, but seeing as Hank's mutant powers manifested in a physical manner, he'd have a much easier time with a critically injuried heather.

He groaned a bit as he stood, his muscles aching from lack of relaxation. When Hazel commented on knowing how he felt, he smiled a bit. He followed her into the back office, pouring himself a cup of black coffee, which he had gotten use to over his time as a doctor below the school. He laughed when she made the comment about Heather.
"Ah, Heather, yes I've had a run in with her. Never seen a more frightened woman when it came to a doctors office."

Hazel poured herself a cup as well, blowing softly on it as he laughed and spoke. She just grinned, shaking her head. "Just wait until you see her in the infirmary. Even a locked steel door won't stop her." She took a quick sip from her cup. "Well, At least Heather isn't extremely destructive when she's in here. Rose Nightshade tends to make things explode."

"Well, it seems we'll need to make some repairs or make another room to look at those two."
He chuckled at the thought of Heather and Rose. He wondered about what kind of mess the two of them would do to a room like this together, let alone seperately. He sat their drinking his coffee, feeling the hot beverage make it's way through his system, heating away the aches and pains in his body

Hazel leaned against the wall as she took a longer gulp of the hot coffee, sighing after she swallowed. "No matter how hard your day has been, I'm amazed how just a little cup of coffee can help."
She finally registered what it was he had said, contemplating on the situation, and almost snorting to hold back a laugh. "I'd rather not consider how much damage they could cause. I doubt my paycheck is even big enough for those kinds of repairs."
After a few more gulps, she set her cup down, slightly folding her arms and smiling. "So? How has your stay been so far?" She hadn't been in town when he'd rejoined the X-men, seeing as this was the first conversation they'd had since that time.

"Indeed, I doubt the damage would be beyond even the mansions financial situation." He looked to her, his smile fading when she asked how his stay has been, "To be honest, I have had better days."
For the next few minutes, he told Hazel everything about what has been going on at the mansion from his arrival. He told her of his meeting with James, and how a human boy ended up in the middle of a crater in front of their school. He told her of how the meeting with Storm, Logan, James, Faith, April and himself ended up being a dispute on what to do about a being produced possibly inside the mansion. He finally ended it with Ian and Isis into the infirmary and the short argument between him and Ian that happened. He ended it with Crystal's arrival which led to another dispute of Ian coming with them to Tokyo and what happened there.
"Add that to the wonderful company we have here, and I'm already planning a vacation."

Hazel listened to everything he had to explain, her eyes wide as he proceeded farther and farther into the tales. When he finished, she shook her head. "If I didn't see those four out there, I'd probably think you were joking. How could so much happen in only a week or two?" She sighed. "I really need to plan my vacations a little better."
She paused, smiling softly as he spoke of planning a vacation himself. "After all this, you most certainly deserve one. I've never had to handle this many critical care patients at one time since before I joined the X-men. How you managed to do it..." She paused, her smile seeming to compliment him. "Well, you most certainly are one of the most accomplished doctors I know. Everything you have to deal with after this will seem like nothing."

"It's the life of an X-Man, my dear, never dull, never ending."
He looked up from his cup with an appreciative smile when she complimented him on his doctoring skills. He was grateful for her company if anything else at that point. Truthful enough he wanted to lay down and take a long deserved sleep, but this was just as good.
"I appreciate the compliment, Hazel. Honestly at times I don't know how I pull it off myself. I just thank my mutant abilities that I can handle the work more than any normal man or mutant."
To call a mutant normal caused him to chuckle a little."

She laughed, shaking her head. "Of course. And if someone happens to jump out of a plane or try and stop a truck by themselves, it's a daily occurrence."
It really was. It would probably be strange if someone wasn't trying to get themselves killed in some insane way. Normal was the abnormal at this school.
"Then we both can thank you're mutant abilities. With out them I don't know if anyone of them would have survived." She smiled.

He chuckled at her logic, knowing she was right. If at any point the mansion could go through a day without someone getting injured, killed, or threatened, it would probably make the evening news. That is...if the evening news didn't mind making stories that wasn't out to make mutants look like monsters. He looked to Hazel and smiled at her thank you.
"Well since you're speaking on behalf of our guests, then you're welcome." He said, raising his coffee cup in a small toast.

Hazel grinned, picking up her Coffee cup to raise it in the toast as well. "Even if some would probably never voice the thanks to begin with."
Specifically, she meant Apocalypse. No one really knew this man, so many doubted he would 'thank' them for anything they did. Suddenly though, she was curious, even worried about what Apocalypse would do when he awoke to find himself at the school. "Does it worry you? Knowing that he might lash out and try to destroy us when he wakes up..?"
