There was a familiar 'BAMF' noise that the Night Crawler had become accustomed to as he teleported to different spots outside the jet. First the right wing, then the left, and so on. He finally settled on the nose of the black jet that was owned by the Xavier Institute. The place he called home. He smoothed the lapel on his long duster with his 'claws'. Admiring the beauty of the jet. Kurt longed to fly it, but after his last stunt, he'd lots his privileges with the jet. "It couldn't hurt just to take it for a little spin," The Night Crawler said in his thick accent. Contemplating whether or not to take it for a ride.

"Depends on what your definition of 'hurt' is."
Rose sat against the wall, half obscured from view by a few crates, an open book in her hands. It was then clear why she was there. She'd been looking for a place to read. Away from the prying eyes of the other students, away from the annoying teachers, away from everything. It just so happened that when she'd gotten to the Hangar, she had been the only person there. After only a short time this tall, older man had appeared in a puff of smoke and loud crack. Wait a minute.... Was he blue?
Squinting a little, her suspicions were confirmed. He was, indeed, blue. With a tail. And pointy ears. How interesting.
"Besides, why would you even want to take it for a joy ride? Sounds so boring." Near everything sounded, or was, boring to Rose.

The sound of the girls voice was unexpected. There was another 'BAMF' noise and now the Night Crawler was on the ceiling, cocking his head to the side and examining her. Recognizing her instantly but feeling silly for the way he'd acted. Kurt rubbed the back of his neck before speaking.
"Well Ms. Nightshade, you just haven't lived until you've been on a joyride with me," Night crawler said, accompanied by another puff of smoke. Now he was sitting cross-legged in front of her, grinning a friendly smile, fangs glistening in the dim light. "The names Night crawler. But you can call me Kurt," he said, extending his blue, odd looking hand.

Rose blinked, not in pure surprise, but obviously as a reaction to his own surprise. A second later, she couldn't help but smirk. So he hadn't seen her there before. With all his teleporting around she was sure he would have spotted her long before now. Guess not. "Why's that? Flying isn't all that interesting to begin with. How could you flying it make any difference?" Really... Now she was being a spoilsport. Like she was most the time. But with all her serious exterior, there was a normal, teenager girl inside.... Somewhere.
Slowly she blinked again, but more as a shield this time as he appeared right in front of her from the smoke. And then he had a hand offered to her. A hand with only three fingers. Even more interesting... She didn't hesitate, reaching out to firmly shake his odd hand. With the greeting over with, she released his hand, pulling it back to herself. "Well, Kurt. I don't remember meeting you before. How do you know who I am?" She paused. "And I'd prefer Rose." A dead serious expression glued itself to her face. Ms.Nightshade reminded her to much of her family. And she didn't want to be associated with them. Ever.

"Well then Ms. Rose," Night Crawler said, his accent shining through as he pulled his own hand back. "There is really no way for me to tell you. So I'll just have to show you," he said, smiling again. Kurt extended his hand to her once more. This time, as a way of asking her to join him in activities that he knew Xavier wouldn't approve of. "Live a little," he said to her. Life was to short not to, with this war going on.
This girl was intriguing. She wasn't like normal teenagers. She looked like she'd seen things that no teenager should have to see. Though he was pretty sure that everyone at the institute had that thing in common. Night Crawler wanted to get a reaction out of her, a good one at that. Something to make her smile, or even laugh. "Whaddya' say?"

"No. Just Rose. No Miss." She was really dead set on it. She went by Rose, and only Rose. Well, unless you were Rose's older sister Sky, then you'd be able to call her Ro-chan. But Sky was the only one privileged to use the name.
Show her? He wanted to take her along with him as he hijacked the jet for some joyriding? What should she do? Go? Stay? Tell someone on him? Ugh, to many choices. But getting out of the school did sound rather tempting... And for a reason other then to make sure you're friends didn't do something overly stupid. "Sure, why not. Not like I have anything better to do." No hesitation again as she reached forward to clasp his offered hand. This time though, she didn't let go. If her guess was right, she wouldn't want to lose her grip on him.
Whether Night Crawler would get a reaction out of Rose was questionable. Some days, she seemed more prone to being a 'bit' more normal, while others she wouldn't even crack a smile no matter how hard you tried. But what sort of mood was she in today? He'd just have to wait and find out...

Kurt teleported with Rose as soon as their palms were together. For Kurt, teleporting was sort of, exhilarating. For most people though, it was like the wind had been knocked out of them. Sometimes they would gasp and cough. For those strange others, it was just like they closed their eyelids and when they opened them they weren't where they were before. Of course, this was only what he'd heard.
Night Crawler was now sitting where the pilot would sit. Sliding Logan's card into a slot in the jet. This whole act had been premeditated, which was why he had Wolverines card that would give them access to the jet. If Logan was ever to find out, Kurt was sure he'd be turned into a blue skibob. As anxious as the Night Crawler was to get into the air, it wouldn't stop him from checking all the gages of the controls. He had to think about the safety of him and his young companion.
"Takes a while for the jet to power up," The Night Crawler said, half to himself and half to rose. In the time it would take, a student could easily walk in on them. Or rose could decide to walk out on him. Night Crawler was grinning with anticipation.

*There was nothing better than sleep. Especially after finishing a long exam that had nothing to do with life experiences. When would she ever use trigonomical equations while fighting a member of the Brotherhood, or even a Sentinal. That's right, NEVER! So, after straining her brain for an hour or so, Kitty slipped through the ground to the basement and found herself in the jet room. She quietly phased into the jet, knowing no one was heading off on any missions today. She found a comfortable spot in the back of the jet, lay down, and fell asleep.*
*Just ten minutes later, the jet started rumbling to life, waking Kitty up. She jurked up and hit her head on the seat in front of her. Yes, she knocked herself out.*

The night crawler looked over his shoulder as he felt his seat move. Kitty? She was adorable, even when she was knocked unconscious. Putting the stray thoughts aside he started calling her name and gently moving her head from side to side.
"Kitty...? Wake up Kitty Pride," The Night Crawler said, waiting for her to come around. He'd always had strong feelings for all of his X-Men team mates, but especially Kitty. When they were both new to the x-men they'd developed a friendly relationship. Though she had not idea of his underlying emotions for her. Being that he was a little on the shyer side of this department, Kurt didn't think that he'd ever tell her.

Cacen was working on his homework in the quiet and stillness of the interior of the jet. Cacen had been trying to avoid all the chaos that the other students at the school cause. Cacen wasn’t exactly shy, but he didn’t like being the center of attention preferring to fade into the background.
He was just finishing his math assignment when he heard the sound of the engine starting. Confused he decided to go up to the cockpit and see what was going on. As far as he knew no one had a mission, which was one of the reasons he had chosen the jet in the first place. Most people went to the basement, but hardly anyone actually got onto the jet.
When he got to the cockpit he saw Kitty and Rose with a strange blue for lack of a better word thing. Cacen then quietly said, “Um what’s going on?”

*The shaking didn't work at first, but then, all of a sudden, Kitty regained her consciousness. But not in quite the right way. As she opened her eyes, she looked straight into Night Crawler's eyes and smiled. She hugged him tightly, but loosened, groaning a bit. She fell back, clutching her head.*
"Ugh, Lockheed, why does my head hurt so much? It reminds me of the time I lived with my parents..."
*Obviously, she was not in the right state of mind. She looked quizically at Night Crawler, then to Rose, on to Cacen, and back to Night Crawler. The wheels started turning in her head, her face showing this plainly. She turned her head one way, then another, all the while confused.*
"Something's not right here... Why is there a panda bear and a big brown bear? Did you make some new friends?"
*Kitty clutched at her head, then fell back on the floor. But she wasn't unconscious. In fact, she started lightly snoring. Obviously hitting her head after sleeping wasn't the best thing for her.*

Night crawler chuckled as she hugged him, which was something that he liked very very much. Seeing Cacen was something that he was not expecting. It all seemed to make the thrill of the soon to be joyride that much more fun. He nodded his head as a 'hello' towards Cacen.
"Yes Kitty, I did make some new friends," Kurt said, glancing at Rose. He puffed out his cheeks and made himself go cross-eyed. Hoping to get a reaction out of her. Night Crawler was distracted however by Kitty's light snoring. He knew enough about first aid to know that Kitty could have a concussion. He lifted her up of the floor, propping her up against Roses chair. Seeing her eyes flutter open momentarily, he looked toward Cacen.
"Don't let her fall asleep," The Night Crawler said, trying to speak as politely as he could. "Oh, and hold on." Kurt added, flicking a few switches and watching the basement open for the jet to fly out of. Their decent was slow at first, gradually picking up speed. As the black jet caught air they rose our of the basement, climbing rapidly into the sky. Kurt hooted, grinning happily as he was plastered against his chair.

Because of Cacen’s personality he didn’t know a lot of people out of paragon so he just watched the scene in front of him quietly from the door way, and gave Kitty a very curious look when she woke up. Apparently she wasn’t in the state of mind, for she was hugging the blue mutant? He still didn’t know who he was, but that probably went both ways not a lot of people knew Cacen, and she was calling him Lockheed, her pet dragon, and calling him and Rose bears.
When Night Crawler nodded hello to him he just stood still not really knowing how to react. As he kept watching the others in his safe haven he was wondering what he thought of Night Crawler. He seemed to have the exact opposite personality to Cacen, and when he asked for him to keep Kitty awake he just gave a slight nod and again said quietly, “But shouldn’t we take her to Hazel or Beast?” When he felt the jet raise in the air he hung as he mentally said, ‘never mind.’ Then he walked to a seat in front of Kitty.

Rose looked more then a little bored as Kurt prepared the Jet for take off. She even looked bored when the whole drama with Kitty Pryde started. It didn't concern he. So why should she care? And then Kurt was making weird faces at her. Rose just blinked, raising an eyebrow as if to ask 'Is that really supposed to make me laugh?'. He was trying, she could tell, but that was an almost pathetic attempt to make her smile or laugh. Very pathetic.
"Sure. You could take her to them. And then explain that you'd been on the Jet with out permission and probably get yourself a months worth of detention." If they were caught, she was positive the students would get detention and the X-men put on probation. It was to late to turn back now though. They were already in the air.

*Kitty's eyes fluttered open and she shook her head, trying to wake up. She had had the craziest dream. Lockheed was BLUE! And there was a random panda bear and brown bear. Oh well, she thought, now that that's over with... She realized where she was and what the jet was doing. She quickly stood up, pain from her head making her lose her balance and fall back to the floor.*
"Ugh, why is the jet on? And what are all you people doing here? And why does my head hurt?"
*She then recognized Kurt and tried to make an angry face, though it didn't quite work.*
"What are you doing?"
