Parker just looked at Hank, with a blank expression.
"I never intended to go with Rose. I need to stay here...I'll leave her with Ian for now. But...what will Sky do when she realizes you let Ian stay with Rose?" He had a slight smug look on his face. "You never told her that. She's going to be furious when she sees them." Parker went back to his usual expressionless face and closed his eyes. "I've relied on Rose long enough. It's time I protect myself."

Professor Xavier thought, closing his eyes, hands folded in front of him on the table. Ian going with Rose? It was possible. He hadn't thought that Ian would be able to bear being near Rose in such a state though. Perhaps... Ian was stronger then Charles had first anticipated?
Finally, he nodded. "It can be arranged." He paused for only a moment. "But, I hope Ian is prepared for the outcomes. If her memory returns before she is mentally prepared, like when she is absolutely sure she can trust Ian, she might have a horrible reaction to remembering her final memories. She might have the same reaction as before, or she could act out aggressively." If she recalled her memories with the Nightshades, before remembering anything else, she could fall back into the 'mold' of the Nightshade family. And that was a frightening thought. Especially if there was no one there but Ian to try and stop her.

Hank narrowed his eyes at Parker as the boy made his comments. Hank was use to iness from Logan, but a member of the students isn't something he would tolerate it from, and he made sure to let Xavier read those thoughts. He looked to Xavier as he thought, knowing that something was working in his mind. Usually when Charles gets that thoughtful look, he was considering alternatives, or maybe danger.
As Charles explained his worry, he nodded his head. If Ian had managed to get Rose's memories back, any of the bad ones before the good, Ian would be in dangerous trouble and possibly putting his life in serious danger.
"Perhaps we should discuss this with him before making a final decision. It should be his choice as well, in case he isn't sure."

Parker then nodded and headed off in the other direction. "I suppose you no longer need me here. I'm off, professor." In reality, Parker needed to start training as soon as possible and he headed toward the danger room to begin.

Charles could 'hear' Hank's annoyance, but it would have to be pushed to the side for now. Other matters took priority right now. The sooner they could come to an agreement, the better, and safer. Cain wouldn't know where either Ian or Rose was, if all went according to plan. He just nodded a farewell as Parker left, no need to express a farewell in any other way. "Yes. Ian needs to know what is going to happen. He needs to make his own decision if he will go or stay." He paused, closing his eyes. "This matter can't wait. I'll call him now. Hazel will be able to watch Rose while we discuss this further."
Ian... Please come down to the assembly hall. It is urgent.
That should be enough to get Ian down here with in seconds.

Hank continued to watch Parker as the boy left, following him out the door. He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he always did when he was irritated or tired. He nodded when Xavier said it couldn't wait and called Ian up. They didn't have long to wait, but it didn't take Ian a quick time to get here either.
The wounds in his legs had healed, but he couldn't run as fast as he use to, not with his legs cramping up in that one spot after a while. Ian still couldn't believe that Black Cat had shot him. Did the guy really think that the legs were the only part of him that was fast? But still, Ian had managed to be at the door in less then a minute, passing by Parker on the way. He stood there, the growing ache in his legs trying to be ignored.
"You wanted to see me sir?" he looked from Charles to Hank, "I mean uh...sirs?"

Hank and Xavier waited in silence as Ian came. He knew Ian might be a little slower then usual, with his recovering injuries and all. It would take some time for Ian to work up the muscles again, to be back at his old speed, but it was possible if he worked at it.
'Ah. Ian. There you are. Please, take a seat." Professor Xavier motioned to one of the open seats near the older men. "Hank, why don't you explain."

Ian just nodded as he moved to a nearby chair. He made sure to pick the chair that was across from Charles and Hank so he would be able to see them easily. Hank looked to Xavier as the professor addressed him, then nodded his head and looked back to Ian.
"Ian, tell us about your relationship with Rose."
"Sir?" Ian asked, not really understanding.
"What are your feelings towards her."
"Well...I guess it's no secret that I like her. I would do anything for her honestly."
Hank nodded, seeing his opening. "And if she were to be put into a different place temporarily, just to help her with her amnesia, would you be willing to go with her and help her. You may not be able to return for some time."
"I...I would be honored, sir." Ian answered, trying hard not to hide his excitement, "but...what do you mean I wouldn't be able to return?"
"It's a decision that both Charles and I have come to an agreement with." hank began, "Rose will have to leave the school, just so she won't feel rushed at remembering in these surroundings. We were going to put Parker in charge, but he needs to work on his own powers to prepare for the battle with Shadow, which we are sure is coming soon thanks to your intel. Do you agree?"
A nod from Ian, not saying a word. Hank continued.
"We decided, due to your closeness to Rose, that you are to continue to be her "bodyguard"." Hank smiled, knowing the promise the two made long ago, "You will be staying with her at her new place, and help her bring her memory back."
Ian was about to speak with excitement, but a stern look from Hank made him calm down immediately. Ian had a feeling there was going to be a down side to this.
"I warn you, you must not allow any word about Rose to leave. Not where she is or her condition, do you understand? I will see if I can talk Sky in to being your connection to us, but only through telepathic communications only." Ian nodded and Hank continued, "We warn you, there may be consequences to her recovering her memory."
"Sir?" Ian asked curiously.
"If she recovers her memories of you, she may remember the last moment you two had and may retaliate immediately." a wince from Ian, still beating himself up from what he did, but not as much as he use to, "Worse, she may recover her memories of the Nightshades first and believe that she belongs with them. You may have to face her, are you prepared?"
"I am. I've been thinking about it and I promised her I'd help her out, and if I have to face her then I will. I'm not afraid to do what's right." was Ian's response.
Hank couldn't help but smile at Ian's response. The boy had grown over his experience with Tokyo and being captured by Cain. He looked to Charles to see if the professor had any closing words.

Professor Xavier let Hank explain everything that would, and may happen. Ian seemed to understand everything that was being said, and openly accepting it. No questions asked. Ian really had grown up. One thing still worried Charles though, but he waited until Hank had finished. "Ian, if Rose does remember her Nightshade days and attacks you, do not let your feelings for her stop you. She will not hesitate to try and strike you down."
He paused for a moment. "You will need to take precautions. Always keep sedatives on you." Another, short pause. "You won't always be alone though. One of us will be checking in, in person, one a month." Charles sighed. "You must not tell Rose's, or your host family anything. They are trusted individuals of mine, but we can not risk any information leaking. If Cain were to discover either of your vulnerabilities, he would take advantage of it."

"I understand professor, I won't let you down."
Though he hoped that Rose would remember her time with him before anything, he knew that he would have to be prepared. That meant going to the infirmary and getting sedatives to help with Rose. It hurt him inside to understand that he would have to fight the one he would die for if worse came to worse.
"Get yourself ready, Ian, you and Rose will leave in the morning." Hank added.
Ian nodded and walked out, heading down the hall as he did. He didn't want to think about hurting Rose in any way, but he knew that he had to be prepared. Hank watched Ian go, a worried look on his face. May god help us if she remembers anyone other than Ian. he thought with a sigh. He stood up, straightening his clothes and looking to Charles.
"If there isn't anything else you need to speak of, I think I'll turn in."

It would be hard. If the time ever came when Ian had to subdue a raging Rose, it would emotionally hurt him to do it. But, Ian knew what had to be done. No matter how much it would hurt, it would be done. No doubt about it. Charles nodded a faint farewell as Ian left, to prepare, to do anything that needed to be done before the next morning began. If his intuition was correct, things would be getting very dangerous, very fast. The whole world was going to Hell. But at least one matter had been solved.
"Yes... We've finished for now. Get some rest, you'll be needing it." Hank and Hazel never knew when a crazy day would start. They needed to take advantage of the quiet times.

Hank didn't know how tired he was until Charles mentioned getting some rest. He couldn't help but love the idea of laying down on a bed and sleeping even half the day. He gave Charles a nod, followed by a hopeful look. Things were getting bad, and they may just start getting worse, that thought still in his head as he walked down the hallway.
