Pitsha was always on the move, she never waited for Lorelei as it wasn't necessarily Lorelei's character to mindlessly follow. However, she always seemed to find her way. This time however, Lorelei had found her partner in the midst of an interesting situation. With her second sight active and her presence concealed by the distance she'd placed between herself and Pitsha, Lorelei could clearly make out two other forms. By the looks of it, they were male, tall and well built machines, no doubt mutants and they both seemed to carry all the flaws of a man as well. 'Tall and proud with a weak foundation hidden behind over compensation to look tough. Hmpht.' With her overall disapproval of Pitsha's company, Lorelei hunkered down ever more into her surroundings, taking a more predatory body position in which she would be able to dash quickly to the side of her partner should anything go wrong.
With her initial examination of the situation, Lorelei now took to fully scanning her surroundings. With her second sight still in affect she immediately examined the building, taking note as to all of it's flaws and structural weak points. Then, she examined the ground, looking for any obvious fault lines or fracture points. While the information she was gathering seemed insignificant, an assassin must always take in to account that which can be provided from their surroundings. And in the world of assassination, none were better than Lorelei who prided herself on doing everything just as it should be without half-assing or overlooking anything.

Pitsha smirked again, once again satisfied he didn't recognize the name. Good. He hadn't spent to much time in the subject she wished to bring up with him. All for the better though. Oh but there was that child like antics again. "Now now, little boy. There is a time and place for everything. You can go play with your little toys later."
Pitsha didn't concern herself with the actions of men, cities were built and destroyed every day! Why bother growing a sentimental attachment to them when you were someone like Pitsha? "No, I have other matters to discuss with you. But that depends on if you will let me get to the subjects with out be so rebellious. Didn't your mother ever tell you to respect your elders?" Again, she used that tone that would trigger Cain's memories, only this time she'd said a specific word, 'mother'. Perhaps he might figure things out then, why he felt so drawn to Pitsha.

"You test my patience, Pitsha. What business do you have with me."
Her words seem to pluck at forgotten memories in his mind, and that's what irritated him the most. He continued to watch her, hearing the words in her head. When she asked him if his mother taught him to respect his elders, his eyes widened slightly. Of course! That's why she looked so familiar to him. His mother...she looked just like her, but how? The look of surprise slowly left him, but the effects stayed in his mind. So they were related somehow, but how he wasn't sure. He smiled at the thought of his parents, how they always tried to raise him to be good and kind to others, until....
"Yes, my mother and father did try to teach me good manners," a cold, half smile grew, "until I killed them."

"My my. You really are an impatient one. I would think you'd at least give me a few minutes of your time with out trying to threaten me." Pitsha smiled softly, looking not all that disappointed that he was so straight to the point. She'd done her research. She knew what to expect of Cain.
But then his next comment registered in her mind. She frowned deeply. What? So he was the one that had killed the second to last woman in his line? Foolish move on his part. "That's a shame. They could have told you a great many things if you'd let them live longer." She paused, smirking again. "Perhaps even where you're mutant blood comes from." She was baiting him, trying to catch his interest, make him curious.

"I threaten who and when I choose. Family is no different."
It was his turn to give her the smile when he watched her frown. So he had struck a cord inside her this time. He always enjoyed getting the uperhand in a conversation. When she spoke of how his parents could have told him many things, like where his powers originated, that peaked his curiosity. It made him almost upset that he had killed them...almost.
"They were a bother and a bore and had to die. However," he crossed his arms, taking the stance he usually took when his interest was peaked, "I am always one for a history lesson now and then."

So he had made the connect? Or... Only a small portion of the connect. It made her smile. How surprised would he be when he learned the true connection. No, family was only a fraction of what Pitsha was to Cain.
It was annoying how he'd looked so pleased at Pitsha's show of surprise. Oh, if she could she would have punished him for such a thing, as it was, she had no authority over the boy. Yet.
But then his interest was back, just in time to. A slow smirk touched her lips again, not even bothering to hide her pleasure in having him wrapped around her fingers. "Tell me, what do you know of your family? Origins, members, anything at all. It doesn't matter. I would hate to drag on and on over useless information you already know." She was curious herself. What had his parents gotten to telling him before their passing? Of course, they wouldn't have told him about Pitsha. It was privileged knowledge, one they would have told him when they felt him ready for the knowledge.

"I never bothered my family with their history. My interest was only power, and power they couldn't give, or wouldn't. So, I had to...detach myself from them."
He didn't want to show that his curiosity about her was growing by the minute. He discovered that they were related, and he could tell he was right from her smile returning. Again, she had gained control of the situation, and again he was left being the learning student. He realized things were growing more and more interesting as minutes past.
"Enlighten me. What is it that I'm missing out on?"

A short chuckle escaped Pitsha's lips, her head shaking. "No wonder you have no idea." She paused, smirking still. "Boy, power isn't just physical strength or dominance of abilities. There is always someone out there that can destroy you in a matter of seconds." She paused, to let her words sink in. Cain might not have realized it, but there was someone out in the world, that Cain's powers would be rendered useless against. "No, true power comes from knowledge. Being able to perceive the world in a thousand different ways. And that is why you're plans are being thwarted by the X-men so easily. You see only one path in this life."
She paused once more, letting silence engulf them both as he soaked in her words. Someone about the way she spoke, it would sound as if she had lived through it all, that seeing the world in a thousand ways had already long since passed. "You're family is an ancient one, Cain. You may not carry the last name of the clan, but their blood runs through your veins. A family who has been filled with witch doctors, and warlocks, Sorcerers and Wizards, for near one thousand years. You're mother carried the gene as well, alas she never manifested her abilities." No, Cain was not a no name, first generation mutant. His family tree was filled with the gene. Perhaps not as strongly as the Nightshade's, but damn near close.

He raised a brow at her when she addressed him as "boy". She was really starting to test him, and he had come close to doing to her what he had done to his parents. Then she mentioned his plans being thwarted by the X-Men easily, and spoke as if she knew what she was talking about. She continued to speak of different paths in life, and then about the family history.
It was then she mentioned how his family was not only ancient, but filled with power and magic. He didn't believe in magic or sorcery at first, but when she spoke, it was as if something dormant inside of him slowly awakened. A gleam in his eye showed something that hadn't been there in a while. It was a look of interest, something thirsting for knowledge that he knew she could give him. He was definetly no longer in control, she was. She was the teacher, and he the willing student.
"Tell me more."

His annoyance was obvious. He didn't like her treating him like a child. But to her? He was. An oh so rebellious child, who was long overdo for a good scolding. The poor child, he knew only how to act out in violence, and had thus become predictable. Anyone who got in his way was either killed, or turned to his side. Again, predictable. But no, she couldn't help him in this war he was starting. He had to learn from his mistakes, with no guidance from her. That was not what she had come to talk to him about, anyways.
It wasn't necessarily 'magic' that littered his family tree, but in other time periods, Mutants had been known by other names, witches, warlocks. Mutant was only the term of this century. "I will admit, I am great with miff at you, for making me have to explain this all to you. If you had just waited, you're mother would have told you all of this." She paused. "I rarely associate with trivial affairs such as this, but my hand is forced because you are the last male heir to the Milena family." Pitsha paused again, letting her words soak in, before finally speaking again. "And I, am the only reason you find yourself on this Earth today."

"Patience was never my virtue."
He smirked, every now and then relishing in the memory of his parents s. It wasn't his fault he felt they needed to die, he was just tired of them trying to control him. That made him smile when she told him how miffed she was and needed to explain things to him. He raised his brow again when she mentioned he was the heir to some family, and why he was on this Earth today.
"You make it sound as if my line is of any importance to me. Why? And how do you mean you're the reason I'm here?"

Pitsha just shook her head. A very rebellious child he was...
"It may not be important to you, but it is to me. If you pass on, the line ends. I will not let you're foolish mistakes destroy all that remains of the Milenas." She did look a tad angry that his antics might end their family. "Boy, sit down. I am sick of having to look up at you." Her voice was stern, leaving little room for argument. She made it clear, she would not stand for any misbehaving on his part.
She smirked again, trying to decide how to explain why his existence was all due to her. "It is a bit difficult to explain, I am afraid. But, in simplest terms?" She paused, pondering again. "I best tell you the story, then." Another pause.
"Almost One thousand years ago, the Milena family was made up of purely humans, well off in life. But, a plague was killing off all the young in the country, a young girl, nearing her sixteenth birthday, was one of the poor individuals. On her death bed, her own ability, power as you call it today, awakened, saving her life. But not in the way you think. Her body was long since dead when she awakened, in the form of a young child she knew well, a girl who had also been plagued by the disease, who had passed only minutes before." Would Cain be able to guess by now? She continued... "Her power enabled her to transfer her soul to a new 'host' body, one that had already passed from this life."
Pitsha stood taller, arms folded across her chest. "I have seen many things in these nine hundred years, and I will not stand for some immature pup who I am forced to call a Grandson treat me with such disrespect."

"I prefer to stand, it suits me best."
He chuckled when she told of how the line was important to her and how she ordered him to sit down. Did she really think she would be able to push him around with a story? But when she told the story, his interest in the situation grew. When she mentioned being his Grandmother, his posture almost collapsed instantly. Something flicked inside his mind, voices speaking of someone that traveled from host to host. He remembered sitting in his room, thinking those voices, his parents were mad, talking of a member of a line he knew nothing about like she was a ghost. But here she was, standing infront of him, ordering him like a soldier. No...not a soldier...a grandson!
"So it was you." this time, that chair sounded really good, "They spoke about you...talked like you were some...thing. But how...how can this be?"

Pitsha's frown returned. Stubborn thing, wasn't he? Well, he didn't know the first thing about being stubborn in the face of Pitsha. You learned a fair amount of things in 900 years, including how to never give into demands, or let others not give into them. To any eavesdropping on their conversation, they might have gone into shock at the knowledge, that Cain had a 'distant' relative still alive, one that seemed more then capable of handling Cain like he was just a child. Cain though? He might have been going into shock at the realization. "Hmph. They let you overhear them talking about me?" She tsked, shaking her head. Cain wasn't supposed to have heard anything about her until his parents had felt him ready. Obviously that had failed.
"I am not a thing. Is that anyway to treat you're elders?" She fixed him with that stern look, as if waiting for him to apologize for the slip of the tongue. "Like I said, they were supposed to have explained this all to you, in much more detail, when the time was right."
She sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "I thought you were paying attention." she paused, shaking her head again. "Alright, what was it that saved me from dieing of the plague?" The way she spoke, as if giving a pop quiz in school. She was done giving him the answers in which he already knew. He'd just have to give it out himself now.

"Do not speak to me like a common child. I killed my parents, which means I have no qualms about cutting other family lines."
He stood up once more as she scolded him, his anger returning. Relative or not, he didn't have the time nor the patience to be talked to like some garden variety child. She was trying his patients even more now then before. His fingers twitched at the thought of changing into the floor underneath him. What she didn't realize is that now that he was sure of what she was and how he knew her, he would have no trouble her.
"Yes your power made you move from a dieing to an already one." he didn't know what it ment at first, then he understood, "You can transfer to different bodies."
