"Perhaps we can arrange a solution to both problems then."
He was just finishing up with his "patch work" when Chez just evaporated. A surprised look formed on Hanks face as he stood up and looked around for his recent patient. He spotted Chez by the door and picked up his things, walking over to the young boy. It was irritating to have patients moving around on him, but what bugged him more was there was no sign of Hazel. Guess he'd have to do things himself.
"If you didn't want to be laying outside, you could've said so." he said with a joking smile. He then knelt down, placing one of Chez's arms around his shoulder and helping him up, "Come on. Let's get you inside so we can really fix you up."

*Chez wasn't paying attention to Hank, he was trying to find that dang mercenary. He knew that guy was out there, but where. When Hank garbed his arm, Chez jumped a little but allowed the man to lift him up. As they walked inside Chez watched over his shoulders as much as he could until he was inside. He definitely didn't have enough strength to evaporate now, he would have to wait a long time until he could do that again.*
There's someone after me.
*He felt bad getting this school in the middle of it, but what else could he do? He couldn't fight right now, and he couldn't evaporate so he was stuck here, placing everyone in danger, especially himself.*

"Then it is wise that we get you in doors."
When he got Chez inside, he looked out of the doorway, thinking he had spotted something in the trees. He reached out and closed the door behind him, paying no mind to the fact on what Chez said ment. It didn't matter to him, if this school wasn't in any sort of danger, then it wouldn't be part of this planet. He smiled at that little thought and began walking Chez into the upstairs infirmary.

Chance just watched as his target disappeared from where he was and he raised an eyebrow. So this target was a mutant. His clients didn’t mention that. It was going to cost them extra. Mutants were tricking prey and it took more time, especially if they wanted them alive.
Chance dropped out of the tree into the shadows below. He was completely silent, and there was no trace that he was there. He then looked around to see where his target went. Dang he’s to close to the house! Not that that would be a problem to get him, he just hated breaking and entering. This job is getting worse then it first seemed.
Chance then sighed and silently walked toward the building, sticking to the shadows that made him disappear from the outside world. He finally reached the door to the building and silently slipped inside. As long as he was in the shadows no one would know he was there, that is if they didn’t have strong mental powers.

*Chez agreed with Hank. He knew that it was important to get away from this man. He did his best to stay off his injured leg and limped along with him. When he herd that he had to go up the satires he let out a large sigh. He had no idea what would happen.*

"Hank.... What are you doing...."
Oh, did Hazel sound pissed right now as she came bounding up the stairs, the gurney folded under her arms. She was behind them almost instantly, the gurney set down and grabbing both of them by the collars of their shirts. She wouldn't be able to move Hank McCoy, but the meaning was still there. "You let him move?! And you have him walking?!"
There was a reason Hazel was the senior doctor around here. Her commanding presence that Hank was to soft to show, her 'I won't take any crap' attitude, and her over protection of patients. "Why didn't you just wait for me!"

He could only smirk when Hazel came up and grabbed the two of them by the collar. He looked behind him and saw the gurney, helping Chez back onto it. He couldn't understand why one doctor was scolding another who had experience in both the medical and scientific area. He wasn't about to say anything though, not when there were other problems.
"Don't worry, Hazel, he's alright, we just need to work on tending to his wounds. I had to get him inside because there appears to be someone out to finish the job." he looked to her and smirked, "and you were taking too long."

Hazel scowled, glaring at the large blue man. "Do you know where this Gurney was, exactly?" She paused. "It was buried! I had to get a bunch of students to come help me get it out!" She scowled even more. "Hank, we're not all as strong as you, you know."
None the less, she helped get Chez back on the gurney, scowling still, but not as bad. She hated looking like a fool in front of patients. And Hank was making it look far to easy to do it. When Hank said someone was after the kid though, her scowl vanished, her expression stern. "Do you think they'd be stupid enough to follow into the school?" She slowly grinned. "I'd like to see anyone try to get past us."
Sure, they were both doctors, but they had wicked powers, that made them worthy adversaries in a fight.

He smiled when Hazel realised he was just messing with her and trying to make her look foolish. He had to admired how she was able to compose herself, and when she spoke of "us" as if they were an automatic team, he couldn't help but smile even more. He looked down at Chez.
"You're in good hands, son." then looked back to Hazel, "No, I doubt getting to him will be easy with us around."

*Chez was getting confused. Of course the loss of blood wasn't helping. First they were heading for the stairs, next there was something attached to his shirt. Then he was being laid down again. He barely herd their conversation because he was trying to figure out it the assassin had followed him in. But he did hear what the man, Hank had said. He wasn't entirely sure but he thought that they could be trustworthy.*

Hazel was still muttering to herself, somewhat miffed that Hank hadn't just waited for her. But she put the feelings aside for now. They didn't have time for something as childish as that. Chez needed medical attention, and not just first aid kit medical attention. They had to get him to the infirmary, and fast. But the idea of an intruder so desperate for the boy that he would enter the school had her worried. It would mean either the assassin was over confident, which she bet on, or was fearless, which she bet on as well.
"You see, Chez? Nothing to worry about." She smiled warmly, and so the quick journey to the infirmary began.

Chance just looked at the three people in the hall; Making sure to keep most of his attention on the two doctors. His target, in the condition he was in, was of no threat to him, but the two doctors were. He could tell that at least one of them was a mutant. He would have to time this perfectly or he would have to face two angry doctors.

It took a while before Hank and Hazel had managed to get Chez down to the infirmary, but it didn't take long at all for the two of them to begin working on the young man. Hank was getting the charts ready when he heard a voice coming from the doorway.
"Excuse me, Miss Evans, Mr. McCoy? I'm here for my monthly checkup." David had entered the infirmary and looked around for them. He spotted Hazel by the bed and laying in the bed was..."Woah. Chez? That you? What happened to you?"
Hank silently cursed when he heard David's voice. He had made sure that mutants had check ups a lot more frequently then humans, since the mutant race seemed to be having more issues with their DNA as well as sicknesses that were being created against mutants. He came out into the doorway in time to hear David's comment towards Chez.
"David...do you know this boy?" Hank asked.
"Yeah, we met at the beach a few days ago. What happened?"
"We're not sure, I was hoping Chez could tell us." he looked from David to Chez, "Care to tell us?"

*Chez was doing everything in his power to stay awake. He was focusing on their conversation. He herd a familiar voice and he knew his name. As the question arose to how he had gotten this injured he smiled slightly.*
I don't exactly have the best of friends around town.
*He had to stop to catch his breath, there was more pain now, and he was getting less conscious as time passed.*
They came out of no where, I wasn't expecting them.
*The rest was fuzzy, at lest now, but once he was bandaged and wasn't exhausted from trying to stay awake.*
