*Days after the wedding Xenthron was out. The sun had just gone down a little bit ago so he was riding around on his motorcycle. He was near the boarder between Canada and America. He couldn't help but be upset, but it wasn't about Conner beating him to the punch. He had been thinking lots about his situation, and had realized that it was near impossible that a girl would actually fall for him. He couldn't go out in the sun, he wore black a lot, and he was getting older. What girl would want him. Unless the girl just happed to be nocturnal also.*
*He thought about this as he rode though the night. He was unaware to his speed. Luckily he was on a road that barley anyone took.* I'm gonna beat him so hard *He was muttering to himself as he rode, and was planning on getting in a fight with Conner, it wasn't new but they rarely did it around people.*

Oh, if this biker boy had known he wasn't alone this evening, on this deserted road, he might have rethought his actions just a little. He might have touched the brake just a tad. Hopefully.
April was in her regular attire. Loose, spaghetti stap tank top, faded denim shorts, and plain tennis shoes. Like a regular woman her age. The only thing that stood out about her? her bright, BRIGHT blue hair, pulled up into a thick pony tail with bangs brushing just above her eyebrows.
Her walk was slow and casual, no rush whatsoever as she walked straight... down the middle of the road... Her arms her clasped behind her head, her eyes turned upward to watch the stars. Ah, such a pretty night. It wasn't to cold, wasn't to cold. She wasn't being eaten by bugs, and there were no city lights to hide the stars from sight. A perfect night. The only downside? She was far from most civilization. Why? Well, she'd happened to run into one of those drug dealers out for her head... And well, when they knew what you could do, they planted men everywhere. And when you stood out like her, it wasn't that easy to hide. Best solution? Get out of civilization as fast as possible.
Now though? She had absolutely no idea where she'd teleported herself. But for the moment, she didn't care. It was to pretty to care. That is, until she heard the engine of a motorcyle....

*Xenthron was mostly distracted he barley noticed the girl walking in the middle of the street. He slammed on his breaks and turned his motorcycle so that it would stop faster. Stoping only inches from the girl he noticed her normal looking apperence. Then he noticed her oddly colored hair. He let out a deep breath.*
Sorry about that, I'm not used to seeing people on these kind of roads.

April had vanished when the motorcyle came screeching to a halt. Literally vanished. She reappeared only a few feet, as if she had leaped backwards but she wasn't recovering from the leap.. She just stood there, staring curiously at this biker, head tilted very slightly. Who was this fellow? Instantly her nerves heightened, her defensive walls leaping forward and her hand touching at the small bag at her hip, where her small handgun rested. It wasn't visible, but the motion was enough for anyone to realize she was on the defensive.
After a few moments she smiled, trying to relax, but her hand never moving from the stop. She happened to have a Drug dealer looking for her right now, what if this man worked for him? No way was she going to give him the upper hand! "Oh, it's alright. No harm done. I hope you're okay. You could have easily hurt yourself stopping like that."

*Xenthron smiled back to her. He could tell that she was on the defensive but he understood that.*
Nothing's hurting at this moment, so I should be fine
*Xenthron could feel that his boot was burnt, he could smell it too. He had set one of his shoes down to help him stop, but he wasn't too worried. He really didn't care to much for his cloths, it wasn't like he had any attachment to them.*

"Oh. That's good then." Something was off about this man. What person drove around, in the dead of night, alone, in all black? She wouldn't put it past Wolverine, but he was a..... special case. This fellow though? He looked almost gothic, but not quite....
But he obviously knew where he was going! That could prove helpful! If she could get directions from him.. Wait! But what if he worked for the Drug Dealer?! He'd send her right into a trap! But what were the chances of that being true? Slim.... Still possible, but highly unlikely. Finally though she sighed, scratching the side of her head, just below her ear, out of habit. "You wouldn't happen to know where the nearest city is... would you? I'm sort of lost..." Her other hand had relaxed, but kept near her bag, just in case.

*Xenthron had to think for a second, he had to remember the lay out of this part of Canada was, he rarely took this road.*
I believe the nearest town is a few miles back, three to seven I think.
*He was pretty sure of himself, but he hoped that this girl wasn't planning to walk all that way.*
Do you need a ride?

April smirked softly. "Believe? Are you not sure?" And she thought he was a local. Gosh dang it. That plan had backfired. Her suspicions of him working for a Drug Dealer were starting to grow again. A Tourist would not be driving around like this, unless you were Logan. But once again, Logan was a special case! This fell though....
"Oh, it's alright. I can walk. It's a nice enough night as is." She smiled a little, to give her an air of innocence. "Besides, you may be trying to kill me." That last comment she kept to herself, mumbled under her breath so quietly she barely heard the words herself. Unless he has Supersonic hearing, there was no way he would catch what she had said the second time.

*Xenthron kept his smile.*
Well it's just that I live in another part of Canada. I was just driving around, thinking.
*He wasn't about to tell this girl, a total stranger, what he was thinking about or why he drove so fast, or even that he was a member of the Runaways. What if this girl was a member of the MRF. He might be able to fight her off, but he wouldn't know.*

"Ooooh. That would make sense then."
Great. No help at all. More suspicions about him being with that Drug Dealer. Fantastic! Could she not have a relaxing evening for once? Guess not....
"Well then. Thanks for the directions. I best be on my way." April smiled warmly, dropping both her arms to her sides and brushing past him. They didn't touch, but oh was it a lot closer then they had been moments before. He could easily reach out and grab her... THat is, if he could get grip on her before she teleported. Only if necessary though... She wouldn't give away her being a mutant unless she had to...

*Xenthron just let her pass, watching her go. There was something strange about that girl. But what wasn't strange about him. That only made him feel worse. He probably just looked like a gothic biker punk wannabe to her, and to everyone else in that matter.*
You sure you can make it?
*He was slightly worried, but she looked like a smart, tough girl to him so he wasn't to afraid.*
By the way, I'm Xenthron, at least that's what everyone calls me.
*He hadn't gone by his real name for years. He knew it sounded weird, but he liked it and preferred it to his real name, Seath. Who in their right mind names their kid some old bible sounding name? He hated it.*

April stopped, glancing over her shoulder at him and smirking. “Of course. It’s not that far, as you said.” She would have said ‘Besides, it would only take me a few moments to get there if I decided to teleport.’, but decided it best to keep that a secret for now. “Besides, from what I’ve seen, not a whole lot of people use this road.” Not to mention if anyone did try to mug her or…. Other things, they’d find her gone before they even got a grip on her. Ah, the joys of teleportation.
And then he was introducing himself. What was this? Who introduced themselves to a random stranger, in the middle of the night, on some deserted back road? That was rather creepy. “Xenthron? Don’t like your real name, huh?” She smirked, chuckling a little. But now she was obliged to give him her name, if only because it was the polite thing to do. “April. No elaborate nickname, but hey, it works just fine for me.”

*Xenthron was happy that she gave him her name. He nodded when she mentioned that he didn't really like his name.*
Well that's a nice name.
*He knew that his name was much shorter than his nickname but he preferred his nickname. He was nervous about her traveling on the road at night, and was compelled to offer a ride again but was sure that she would turn it down.*
Are you sure you don't need a ride?

April just shrugged. It was a common name. “No where near as unique as ‘Xenthron’, but it works.” She smirked a little. But then he was asking her to give her a ride. Again. Ugh. Hadn’t she already turned down the offer? “Don’t worry. It’s a nice night for a walk.”
Not to mention, she needed to stay alone if the Drug Dealer caught up with her. If they saw her with someone, that person instantly became a liability, and she would have to reveal her own secrets just to make sure she didn’t accidently get them killed!
Speaking of that filthy man… Was that a car she heard? Looking over her shoulder, two headlights could be seen, along with something… metal. “Ah. Shit. Thought I lost them.” She knew who these fellows were. The Drug Dealer’s thugs. Did they ever give up? It was past midnight for crying out loud!
“April Lorraine, Give up peacefully or we will be forced to open fire!” The voice over the speaker was obviously male, and wrecked of malice. Yup. A thug.
April just smirked as the car grew closer, absolutely no worry in her actions of expression. “Eh, I would have thought they’d learn by now. Sorry, but I fear I just got you involved in something a little dangerous.” She was suddenly by his side, reaching out to grab onto his bike and his arm. “Don’t move, don’t scream, blah blah. Basically, just don’t do anything until I tell you do.”
She looked back at the approaching vehicle. It was an armored truck. “Oi! Why don’t you guys just give up for the night?!” A shot rang through the air as an answer. “Hm. Guess not. Okay, remember. Don’t do anything until we’re clear.” Then, they vanished.
They reappeared a mile away, deep in the trees. Feet touched ground, and they vanished again… and again…. April teleported a good dozen times, putting at least 12 miles between them and the thugs. Finally, they touched grass and April released Xenthron and his bike. “Okay. You are free to unbuckle your seatbelt and move about the cabin.” Of course, they weren’t in a cabin. They weren’t even near one. She was clearly making fun of airplane pilots and attendants.

*Xenthron took her answer and nodded. But when the people came he put one of his hands into his own shadow. He had a smirk on his face. He could handle himself. When she mentioned getting him involved he shrugged.*
That's pretty much the story of my life.
*But then she teleprompter them, he was slightly shocked. He looked around, baffled.*
So you're a mutant? Meeting one seems to become less common as the day's pass.
*Xenthron sighed, he then looked at the clock, good it hadn't been that long. But now he had to gage how far and how long it would take to get back to the hideout.*
