It had been a couple weeks since Rory started teaching Danger Room sessions, and almost a month since he and Freya had started officially going together. Most people in the school seemed pretty surprised when they had caught them together a few times, though Rory was a bit more curious to what Tari thought about it. He was just curious though, it wasn't like he would really care.
Rory had lost track of the time, though he guessed it to be in the afternoon sometime. After classes were over he spent most of the rest of the day in the Danger Room, continuing his practice and setting up new lessons and demonstrations for the students. That is unless Freya came by, then most of his day was spent with her. For now though, he was focused on combat, testing himself.
A gut wrenching crack filled the Danger Room, and a masked man collapsed to the floor at Rory's feet. "Simulation One-Four-B: Complete. Time: One minute, thirty seconds." The cold metallic voice of the Danger Room rang out. Rory was sweating, but was on fire today. Almost fifteen simulations and he hadn't been hit once.
"That's not good enough..." Rory panted, hands on his knees, "Run simulation again, remove obstacles, increase combatants... Begin." He said, and immediately the walls of the Danger Room seemed to melt away and Rory was standing in an open room. Suddenly, fifteen or twenty people materialized around Rory, and began to encircle him. A slight grin cross his face as he got into a combat stance, and waited for them to come closer.

Tari hadn't taken the news all that well, but it hadn't been to bad. She wasn't happy though. Freya didn't care. Since their relationship had began, Freya had been spending near all her time at the school, in so much that some of the younger students were beginning to think she was an X-man!
Now a days... It was tempting to become one. Professor Xavier had once told her that if she ever chose to stay, a place would be waiting for her. It was a hard decision, one that she'd been having to spend a lot of time pondering over. Dare she leave her home country of France to stay with the X-men? What would come of the Exiles? If Freya stayed, she was sure Tari would as well, whether Tari liked it or not... No matter how much she thought about it, she never came to a conclusion.
Today, Freya hadn't arrived at the school until a little past noon, having just taken her sweet time in getting ready. When she did finally bring herself to head out, she'd just thrown on a pair of jeans and a white peasant blouse that... well, it was definitely an eye catching top with her shoulders bare, and slit right down the middle the reveal a portion of her stomach. There was a point though to her rather interesting attire. She was going to make a point to Rory. That no matter how many playful arguments he won between them, her female charm would always let her win and get her way.
It wasn't hard to figure out where Rory was. The Danger Room. At this hour it was the only place he would be. A simulation was running though, so she couldn't go through the main doors, such a shame... She'd just have to settle for going up to the observation deck. No one ran the simulations for Rory, he seemed to like it that way. Alone up in the room, Freya found herself bored near instantly. Grabbing one of the intercoms, she pulled the blinds up so she could see him and he could see her. With a click, the intercom was on. "What, only twenty? I would have thought you'd at least have thirty in there by now!" She laughed softly, turning off the intercom to watch.

Almost immediately about five of the men charged him with two from the front, one on either side, and on one from behind. The rest of the men waited momentarily for Rory to be distracted by the combat, then they too charged from all angles. Rory had to admit, for a computer that was controlling fake humans, it did an amazing job for giving them good tactics as well as real emotions. It was like playing chess against the computer, a computer that learned from you, and a game of chess where you were one of the pieces.
He was grabbed from behind first, the man pinning his arms to his side in a bear hug. Rory used it to his advantage though, pushing off the ground and making the man stagger backwards and lift Rory into the air. While Rory was lifted he kicked out, slamming a foot into the chest of each of the charging men from the front. As soon as his feet hit the ground he crashed his head backwards, into the man who was holding him and breaking his nose. As he released Rory, Rory spun on his heel and grabbed the man around the neck, then spun him into the air and into one of the men charging on his right flank.
Without a moment of hesitation Rory blindly round house kicked backwards, slamming his foot into the side of the last attackers head, as he had heard him coming from that direction. While five of the men were down and trying to get up, the rest of the fifteen charged Rory. In a matter of seconds it looked like a mosh pit with Rory in the middle, and everyone else getting tossed, kicked, punched, and thrown away from him. No matter how hard they tried, none of them could ever land a square hit, it was either a glancing blow or Rory redirected the punch and turned it against them. Even though they outnumbered him twenty to one, they simply weren't fast enough, strong enough, or even close to Rory's skill level enough to bring him down.
Suddenly Rory's focus was taken away momentarily as he heard a very familiar voice on the intercom, which echoed through the Danger Room. Several of the men tackled Rory from all sides and seemed to bring him down when suddenly they were all tossed away and knocked everyone around him down. Using the momentary break he glanced up at the observation deck to give Freya the thumbs up.
Due to his excellent eye sight he was able to make her out very clearly, she was wearing blue jeans and a white blouse that scantily covered her, and easily revealed her very fit body. Rory turned back to punch an oncoming assailain when he realized what he just saw. His head immediately shot back to the observation deck and his jaw dropped slightly, beautiful was an understatement. She looked flat out amazing, unfortunately, he wasn't able to take his eyes off her and suddenly a metal pipe slammed into the side of his head.
Apparently the danger room was not distracted, and had decided to suddenly give the combatants weapons half way through the fight. Normally Rory like those surprises, but right now, they really hurt! He staggered back from the blow and was immediately caught by a knee to the stomach, then another kick to the face knocked him back. Then the metal pipe came again, slamming into the bottom of his jaw from who knows where, and effectively closing it for him after it dropped looking at Freya. He was sent flying back and slammed into the Danger Room wall. Immediately the men disappeared and the danger room faded into it's normal appearance.
"Simulation One-Four-B: Failed. Time: Not completed." Though there was no emotion in the computers voice, Rory was sure it was laughing at him if it could be. He stayed slumped against the wall, breathing heavily. His cheek was cut open, blood was running down his chin from a busted lip, and his chest felt like a sledgehammer had hit it. "Stupid computer..." He muttered, wiping the blood from his lip slightly.

If Freya had realized she'd distract poor Rory that much, she might have waited until he had actually finished the simulation. As it was, she waved when he looked up to her, but blinked when he suddenly did a double take, as if unable to believe what he'd just seen. And Freya, being who she is, couldn't help but smirk. Until he started getting beaten to a pulp.
She flinched when Rory was struck in his distraction. Poor guy. Usually men loved to see their girlfriends dress up like this, but when they were in a simulation? Well, it just wasn't the smartest idea. Freya did have a plan though. Rory, all bruised and battered after his distraction, would be able to have her full and undivided attention, completely smothering him and comforting him in his horrible lose, at the same time completely gloating about him being so easily distracted.
So, half forced, she had to watch her poor boyfriend get beaten up until the simulation felt it'd given him enough of a beating. She didn't have to wait long, thankfully. As soon as it had shut down, she'd hurried down the stairs, the doorway size opening revealing itself at her approach. It took her no time at all to be by his side, a half satisfied, half concerned smile on her lips. "Are you okay? I'm sorry if I distracted you." Oh yeah, her words gave her away. Most definitely intended.

Rory glanced up when he heard the door to the Danger Room open and saw Freya rushing to her saw. If his jaw wasn't throbbing with pain, it probably would have dropped again when he saw her more closely. It was amazing that even after a month, she could flat out blow him away at times. Though, this time she shocked and surprised him at the wrong time.
When she began to speak though Rory couldn't but wonder by the tone in her voice, had she intended that to happen? Well, maybe she hadn't intended it but he was guessing she didn't mind letting it happen that much. "Distract me... Ha... heh... No, ya... Can't... Didn't distract me." The fact that he couldn't look away from her, and could barely speak because his stomach was in his throat, really made that comment convincing.
He wiped the blood away away from his busted lip, though there was still a trail coming from his cut cheek. He stayed resting against the wall, unable to will himself to get up just yet. "Ye look... Amazing, gra." He said, unable to make himself mad at her right now, which really made him mad at himself for being so easily weakened by her. Though honestly, who wouldn't be?

Freya chuckled softly at his words, kneeling next to him with her head titled so slightly in a cute sort of way. "Really? So you intentionally let yourself get beat up like that? I thought you were to proud for something like that." She was smirking again, trying not to laugh. Oh, there was no doubt now. She'd won this round. Completely and totally won. And now she had the bragging rights because of it. She wouldn't gloat... verbally. The look she was giving him was more then enough to express it.
Softly and carefully she reached forward, wiping away the trail of blood from the cut on his cheek. For some reason though, she blushed a little when he said she looked amazing, her smirk replaced with a soft, loving smile. "Thanks." She paused, if only shortly. "So do you. Even if you are just a little beat up." To her Rory always looked amazing. It was just a given. Unlike her though, he didn't throw her surprise attacks by playing with their attraction towards each other. She doubted he knew how to use his natural gifts against her. Lucky, or unlucky, for him, Freya did.

Rory was going to try to cover her defeat of him and make it seem like he hadn't lost to her... again. By the look on her face and the fact that Rory was slumped against the wall, they both knew this was an absolute victory though. As much as he hated to admit it, he knew when he had been beaten. "No, ye distracted me, ye know it... Did you wear that today just in hopes of watching me get beat?" He asked much more clearly this time, not as much stuttering.
When she spoke again, all anger at her beating him disappeared though. As she wiped some of the blood he didn't know he had on his face away, he reached up and grabbed her hand, "I should probably correct meself, lass... Ye always look amazing." He said with a wink, slowly pulling her hand toward the wall to force her closer to him. It was true, every day they were together she was a distraction for Rory, regardless of what she wore. Some days though were worse, or perhaps better, than others in terms of how much she distracted him. Today was one of those days, which was obvious as he couldn't take his eyes off her still.

Freya couldn't help the smug expression when Rory 'surrendered' in his defeat, but smiled sheepishly when he caught on to her little act. "Maybe just a little." You never could predict just how great of an affect something like this could have, so of course she hadn't intended for him to get beaten up severely, but she had known there was the possibility. Not to mention she'd wanted to hear him stutter as he tried to get over the shock.
Her smile softened when he caught her hand before she pulled it away, more then happy for the touch. "Again, so do you." And there was that signature wink of his as he slowly pulled her closer by tugging on her captured hand. She was more then happy to oblige. The closer they were, the happier both of them seemed to be.
"You didn't answer me, you know. On if you were okay or not. I'd hate it if you were in to much pain from my little prank." He couldn't be hurting that much, seeing as he had the energy to still be his normal self.

When Freya admitted her plan to him, Rory just shook his head. Had anyone else done that, and then shown that smug smile, he probably would have beat them half to death. With Freya, however, he simply found her smug smile to be very cute, though he would never say that word himself. "Well, aren't you a little i-diabhal." He said with a smirk, he knew she didn't understand him sometimes, and whenever she did happen to beat him he would hold that over his head.
Rory had continued to pull Freya toward him until she was almost on top of him as he laid against the wall. Once she was he put his arms around her, holding her to him, "Oh aye, I'm in a lot of pain... I think I might need a kiss to make it better." He said with a coy smile, yes he was in pain, but not enough that it mattered. Most everything bad went away while Freya was near him, including literal pain.

There Rory went again, saying something she didn't understand. Usually it was just a word or two here or there. It did annoy her a little that she didn't understand it, but she rarely could stay annoyed with him for more then a few moments. "I'll just pretend I know what that is." She smirked softly. Whether it was or not, she was going to take whatever it was as a compliment. And if she couldn't she could always try to pity party him into telling her what he'd said.... it was doubtful if it'd work though.
She didn't struggle at all as Rory literally pulled her on top of him, instead, she just seemed to settle herself comfortably where he guided her, her arms draping over his shoulders as his wrapped around her. "Hmmm, I see." That sly smirk of hers was back. "Well, to tell the truth I was hoping you'd say something like that." She really had been. It'd been one of the major reasons for her prank. With out waiting another moment, she leaned forwards, softly kissing him. No, she wasn't going to let him have it easy. If he wanted harder, more passionate kisses, he'd just have to take charge himself.

Rory laughed a little, he loved annoying her, and teasing her. If only because it usually seemed to lead to them kissing. Really though, pretty much everything they did seemed to lead to kissing or holding each other. "It means, she-devil." He said with a slight grin, the term seemed to fit her in Rory's mind. She was amazingly beautiful and kind, yet wickedly devious when she wanted to be, it was part of what attracted him to her.
Then there it was, her sly smile, the one that drove him crazy every time. She did a lot of subtle things like that, that made him want her all over again. "I had a feeling ye wanted me to say something like that." Again, situations like this they thought a lot alike. He returned her soft kiss for a few moments, savoring the gentle feeling before he inevitably pressed a bit harder against her lips, and a bit more passionately.

"Oh, I see." Freya laughed as well, shaking her head a little. "Very fitting then." She smirked a little, wanting to add that he probably would love her this much if she wasn't a she-devil. He wasn't that Saintly either though, so either way, she wasn't the only diabolical one between them. And in some ways, Rory was even worse then her.
"It's like you can read my mind sometimes." her sly smirk was still there. It was more then 'like'. Great mind thought alike, and Rory and Freya always seemed to be on the same frequency, so tuned into the other it really was like they were reading the others mind. It didn't surprise her when he suddenly deepened the kiss, to impatient to try and tease her back. That was alright though, especially when both parties enjoyed kissing the other this much. Freya tightened her grip around his neck and shoulders a touch, instantly returning the kiss with just as much passion as he was.

"You have no idea how fitting it is." He said with a smirk and it was true, he probably wouldn't be half as attracted to her if she wasn't as wily and unpredictable as she was. The fact that she did have a darker side, and that he couldn't always guess what she was going to do, was a turn on for him.
As they kissed, once again everything seemed to fade away in bliss. No matter how many times they had done this, no matter how many times they would end up in a similiar position as this, it was always just as exciting and invigorating as the first. As she tightened her grip on him slightly, he pulled her toward him a bit more, which while she was still laying on top of him, seemed to seal their kiss a bit tighter. Alone in the Danger Room with no more classes for the day, they would probably be able to go at this for hours as usual.

Unless, of course, they happened to be disturbed by the headmaster of the school.
Professor Xavier had been looking for the pair, though they weren't hard to find. Rory always had the Danger Room scheduled at this time, and wherever Rory went, Freya was soon to follow. If he'd known what they were doing, he'd wish he could pick a better time. Sadly, there wasn't any time to choose from. He had to ask the pair now, and if they accepted they needed to leave within the next hour.
As he neared the Danger Room he was suddenly aware of what they were up to. He almost sighed. Really, a better time would have been much easier. He'd have to be quick about it then, before he annoyed Freya or Rory to much.
The door to the Danger Room hissed open at his approach, where he brought his wheelchair to a stop. In the doorway, they'd be able to see and hear him clearly, and he'd be able to make a quick escape when he finished.
"I'm sorry to... disturb either of you, but I have some important information. A tip came in not to long ago, on where Cain might be hiding. I'd like to ask if both of you would be willing to go investigate and see if it's true." He paused. "You'd have to leave soon though, before the tip becomes useless." He waited. All he had to do was hear their answers and he could leave..

They probably would have kissed for quite a while longer if it wasn't for the sudden 'hiss' of the Danger Room door sliding open. Slowly, Freya broke the kiss, her gaze wandering to see who this intruder was. How annoying.... Someone was interrupting her Rory time!
It was Professor Xavier.
She blinked, more then a little surprised. What was he doing down here? When he explained, she slowly looked back to Rory, trying to figure out just how he was reacting to all of this. And then, the question was posed. Would they go? "I'll go if you do." Her resolve was absolute. Wherever Rory went, she would follow.
