*Daphne let a laugh escape her.*
Count your self lucky that you don't train with Heather, she's brutal. But so is Logan, so all together it's like I have to improve.
*She liked to train, but she loved to model more than train. Unfortunately with all the crazy things happening recently, she was at a disadvantage. Most people just suck with the models that they already had.*

He laughed with her after she commented on Logan and Heather. Yeah he couldn't imagine what it would be like to train with both of them, let alone one. He had heard stories and was glad that he was just using the training room in the free time. He knew that he would one day have to go through the training, but hoped it wasn't for a long while.
"I'll take your word for it."

*Daphne smiled, it was hard but she loved the training and she loved to improve. Working up to being an X-men, she was so excited. Also she was going back to Greece soon to visit her family, witch also made her excited. She loved the air, and all the cool buildings, especially the statues of the gods that were made thousands of years ago. That was one place that she didn't feel like a tourist, always wanting to see more.*
I'm sure if you ask one of the teachers they would be glad to give you some pointers. Unfortunately I can only say practice and figure it out.
*When she was stuck she would ask peers, and teachers for advice. She found that teachers gave the best advice, because they had done stuff like that before.*

"Yeah, I guess I can ask some of the teachers, but I'm not sure who. The only person I can think of that's good at shape shifting is the only guy we're all after."
He couldn't think of anybody who would be able to help him figure out what to do. Logan could heal, Xavier could read thoughts, and Hazel causes your head to feel funny. Beast wouldn't be much help either since he was more of the physical kind of type, that and he was a doctor. Who would he be able to ask?

*Daphne thought, who could he ask. There was only one person who she could think of that could do something similar to what he wanted to do. She paused, wait, that wouldn't work.*
Train can do stuff like that. But he doesn't talk much, actually, I've never herd him talk.
*Train could do that, but getting him to talk was another matter entirely.*

"Train?" he said, giving her an odd look, "I'd be lucky enough to get a nod from him, let alone a full sentence."
It wasn't that he didn't like Train, in fact, he loved watching the guy work in training sessions. He had gotten control of his powers to the point where he was only steps away from being a Jr. X-Men. He couldn't wait to start training himself, but he knew that all training and graduating was put off due to Cain. What bugged him is nobody's heard from the man in over a month, and Xavier's been spending most of his time in his office. What has he been up to?

*Daphne shrugged, it was worth mentioning Train.*
That's more than I've got from him. Train just looks at me then looks away.
*Train was a weird kid, always going to see Hazel. The only other thing she knew about Train was that he got these awful headaches that he had to go to the infirmary for.*

"I wonder what's been going on with him anyway. He's been acting strange." he stopped, "Well...stranger than usual."
He had seen Train go into the infirmary many times for headaches, and when he wasn't in the infirmary or in the Danger Room, he was just wandering the grounds with his Mairead. Even Dave knew the two were dating, it didn't take a telepath to see that.

*Daphne didn't want to spread rumors. But she didn't know if it was a rumor or not.*
I herd that Train had this huge traumatic experience before he came to the institute. That's probably why he's so quiet.
*She had herd it from many sources and one claimed to hear it from a teacher. So she was pretty sure it was real. But there was no way to be sure of it, except for asking either Mairead or Train. Neither would probably answer.*

"Well, it's none of my business, that's what I believe."
He looked around at the empty room, suddenly wondering why him and Daphne were having a conversation in a room like this. He looked back at her, knowing that talking to Train or Mairead about something like that was too personal. He didn't like getting involved in someone elses life, unless it involved him or someone he cared about.
"You know, I have a sudden urge to head to the ball court. Want to come?"

*Daphne shrugged, she had nothing else better to do. She wasn't very good at ball but she still liked to do it because it was fun.*
Why not, but I warn you, I'm not good at that.
*She loved to teas about how much she was bad, but she thought that warning him was enough for now.*

"That's ok, I'm not that good either. I just love doing it because it keeps me busy."
He smiled as he turned towards the exit to the room, looking back at her and holding out his arm as if offering her an escort to the court. He was always one to shoot hoops when ever he was bored or needed time to think. This had become the time where both had occurred, but at least this time he had company.

*With a large smile Daphne hurried over to David and took his arm. She knew a thing or two about chivalry. When she did actually play ball, and she was alone, she would just create some shadows to play with her. Of course this made her look good because she won every time. But someone who actually know how to play would figure that the shadows were letting her win, even helping her, even though they weren't on her team. Remembering this happening she giggled a little bit.*
Sorry, but I just remembered the last time I played. Lets just say I won.
*She paused, slightly for effect.*
But my opponent were my shadows.
*She let out another giggle, hoping that David would realize that her shadows were controlled by her so there really wasn't any competition.

"Ah I see, well that's good for training to. Might be fun playing basketball with shadows, I've never done it before."
He laughed a little as he thought of how it would be to play with nothing but shadows and Daphne. It was like playing shadow boxing or shadow puppets, only the shadows were moving on their own. He couldn't help but wonder how much fun it would be, and when he put her arm around his, he smiled and led her out of the danger room.
