She nodded with a smirk as he mentioned checking out the facility themselves. She'd known that his idea probably involved something dangerous like that. Hopefully they could leave without being caught, because the teachers would have a cow if they knew why and where they were going.
But, if they're plan went smoothly, it could be the key to taking down Cain. So, in a way, they had no choice. But, the MRF wasn't exactly some place where you could get into easily without getting caught. Their chances of getting out of there at all, with or without information, were slim... but without finding some kind of weakness, they'd never win even with all the mutants join together. She pursed her lips at that thought for a moment. She knew of some super dangerous mutants in the Runaways, but they not only couldn't control their powers but hated to use them... even against someone like Cain.
She looked back at him then, barely avoiding his eyes and also his thoughts. "Except for maybe going after Cain by ourselves, that's the most dangerous thing we could do at this point," she admitted with a smile. "You realize that, right?"

"Nah, the dangerous part would be getting caught my Hazel or Logan."
He couldn't help but laugh at that, knowing that this wasn't the time for joking. He always tried to find humor in things, even when they were as bad as they are now. He could tell something was going on inside her, and he turned to face her completely, placing his hands on her arms and giving them a gentle squeeze.
"You know, you don't have to go through with this if you don't want to."

She just shook her head and laughed slightly. If Logan caught them, he definitely wouldn't let them go through with their plan. But everything was worth a shot.
When he turned to her, she looked into his eyes and saw that he thought something was wrong. The only thing that was wrong was that her brother had been missing for years. That was stuck in her mind for some reason, but she didn't know why.
"Of course I want to go through with it," she looked at him like he was nuts to believe that she'd just leave him hanging to do this alone. "I'm the detective here, remember?"

"Then let's get going. The sooner we get there, the sooner we can get what we're looking for."
He smiled again, glad to see that she was still eager to go. He did his best to hide the nervousness from her earlier comment. The chances of them running into Cain in the MRF was great, but it was something he was willing to risk. His training had allowed him to be able to hone his skills and be able to pull a few surprises that even Cain might be surprised by.

"Let's go," she agreed, nodding. She was going to stop by her room, of course, first. She needed to get her old jean jacket.
She also needed to get her hook swords. There was no way she was going to walk into the MRF, especially if they ran into Cain, without her awesome hook swords. Without them, she was pointless in any physical attack. But she was sure that David wouldn't let anything bad happen to her.
It wouldn't take long. All she needed to do was slip into her room, grab her swords and jacket and then go. And since she was barefooted, she could do it silently. She was only barefoot so she could see visions with every step she took. It helped her sense who was in the room almost instantly. That way, if someone was coming, she'd know way before whoever it was could reach them.

He nodded as she agreed, and went to her room to grab her things. They had to be quiet, as it was the time of day when class was in session. He waited by the door until she came down dressed in her usual old jacket and two swords with her. He had to admit, with her swords she looked like a nobody wanted to mess with. He smiled a bit at that.
"Ok, let's get goin."
He opened the door for her, and within seconds they were gone from the grounds.

She came out with her hook swords on her belt. She heard some of the students whisper about not wanting to get on her bad side, and now she saw from David's eyes that he was thinking the same thing now. She smirked at that.
She nodded when she said they should get going, and followed him off school grounds silently.
