Ace bit her bottom lip and a smile formed on her lips.

“Well, I can always show you one. You don’t even have to look at me. Well…not exactly. A tiny version of me with an afro, but you’d never recognize me with as pretty as I’ve become.”

She realized what she had said and paused.

“I’m only sarcastically full of myself. I promise.”

When Ace said her powers developed right after getting her first big role, that meant her first big adult role. She had played Annie from Annie and the young Cosette from Les Miserables, but child roles and adult roles were very different things. However, Annie was the only play she had completely recorded. It was a dress rehearsal actually, which actually made the tape better. No annoying audience members or crying babies.

A tiny version of her with an afro. Lovely. Crux smirked slightly with a nod when she said this. "I'd love to see that," he admitted. And he smiled again when she said she was only sarcastically full of herself. He was pretty sarcastic himself. Or, he used to be before his personality vanished, along with his normality. His powers were so dangerous that it changed him completely, and he honestly didn't think that the old, slightly arrogant, funny him would ever come back.

He was sush a loner now that no one even knew his real name. He didn't know why or how, but he'd obtained the name Crux throughout the newstands and such, so that's what everyone called him. No one ever even bothered to ask if he liked being called Crux...

She laughed lightly and vanished into her room, returning with an old video tape. “Is there a T.V. with a VCR around here? I’m still relatively new.” It was then that Acelyyn found it, a blush lighting her cheeks. “Wow, I feel dumb.”

“So I assume Crux isn’t your real name. What is it?” She asked as she put the tape into the machine before pressing play and plopping down on the ground.

Crux watched her as she flew back into her room and reappeared with an old tape. Wow. Who has a VCR anymore? Well, lucky for her the Runaways do keep an old one lying around. She found it on her own, though.

He walked over to her and leaned against the wall as she put in the video tape. Then she asked about his real name. There's a first, he thought. "Howard," he said simply.
