It had been a week since Cacen had met Spencer on that fateful horse ride. He had never forgotten that she had promised that she would visit to see if she wanted to join the school to get away from her overprotective family. Cacen couldn’t blame her for wanting to; he knew he couldn’t live with a family that was that overprotective, especially because of what his power was. He was more likely to cause them harm id he did, and if there was one thing Cacen hated it was hurting people, and his power.
But Spencer’s family had a reason to be overprotective. For Spencer was blind, not that Cacen thought that mattered. Spencer’s family however thought that Spencer was some kind of helpless person because she couldn’t see, or that was Cacen’s impression of her family. Cacen just hoped that she would call soon. She was nice, and she actually laughed at his jokes.
Cacen sighed. Things just hadn’t been as fun as soon as he had said goodbye to her. True she didn’t live very far away and if he really wanted to he could just grab one of the horses and ride over there, but that might make him seem stalkerish and he didn’t want her to think of him like that. So he just sat here waiting for her to call.

*Spencer did can and asked if she could come over, actually she had to admit that she was on her way. She was going to do some shopping when she decided to go and see him spur of the moment. She would go shopping after seeing Cacen and spending time at the school that he went to.*
*It didn't take her long to actually get to school and when she arrived she stood at the gate, with a seeing eye dog on her left side. She had gotten it a few days ago but this was her first real "test run" out of the ranch. Spencer was wearing some light wash jeans that had dirt at the bottom for walking around in the dirt so much, she wore tennis shoes and a t shirt that was blue gray that had a horse on it.*

Cacen was just walking around the front grounds when he noticed someone show up. He didn’t expect it to be Spencer since she had said she would call first so that Cacen could be the one to show her around of one of the other students, or even the staff. So Cacen thought it was just one of the other students returning from a mission, or one of the other students’ family members.
As he got closer however Cacen saw that it was none other then Spencer. When he knew for sure that it was in fact her he stopped and stood in shock. She had actually kept her promise to come and checked out the school.
Cacen ran forward toward the gates. He would have to let her in because she didn’t have a code to get in herself. When he finally reached the gates he looked at her. “I didn’t think you were going to come.” He entered his paragon code and the gates swung open. “Either that or your aunt found out and forbade you to come.”
Even though Cacen said that he was smiling. She was here and that was all that mattered. All those upsetting thoughts he had about her not being able to come, or not be able to come, meant nothing now that she was here.
“So do you want me to show you around now?” He reached out his hand and took her elbow. Unlike her house where she knew where everything was this was going to be difficult for her and he knew that she would need all the help that she could get.

*Spencer only stood there for a little but when some one approached. She knew that it was Cacen the moment he spoke. She had good hearing, it made up for her not being able to see.*
Well I tried to call, but I think your phone is off.
*She allowed him to take her, and the dog stayed by her side. Walking with her, ready to take action when she needed to. Spencer did stop walking after a little bit.*
Oh yea. It was a girl. This is Roxie, she's my helper. We were going for a test run today.
*She motioned to the golden retriever that was at her side, working of course, so it didn't pay any mind to Cacen.*

“Well I hope you like this test.” Cacen then started leading Spencer across the grounds. “Well right now I’m leading you across the front grounds. There about an acre, and it has an asfault path that the cars use to leave the grounds. In a minute we’ll reach the courtyard.”
The walk toward the courtyard was silent. Then Cacen looked at Spencer. “While we’re just walking to the courtyard, do you want to hear a joke?”

*Spencer smiled, his jokes were sort of lame, but she enjoyed them.*
Yes, I would love to here a joke
*Poor Roxie felt very useless right now but she was still doing her job and watching out for any dangers, and also listening for things.*

Cacen nodded, and then searched his head for a joke that he could tell her that wouldn’t take her long to understand. “Here’s one.” He exclaimed when he finally thought of one to tell the blind girl beside him. “Which side of a dog has the most fur?” She liked animals, and she obviously knew a lot about them, she should be able to get this one pretty quickly, when he told her the answer that was.

*Spencer wasn't sure the answer but she was sure it was another type of riddle joke.*
Tell me.
*She had thought of an answer but she thought that she should let Cacen give his answer. She had just gotten Roxie and she loved the way her fur felt.*

Cacen gave her another smile, now wishing that she could see him. “The outside!” Yes it was lame, but that didn’t stop someone like Cacen from telling his lame jokes. That was one of the reason’s that Cacen had a small notebook in his pocket so he could right down all the jokes he hears.
Soon they reached the courtyard and he stopped. “This right here is the court yard. About a few yards it leads to the entrance of the school.” He then started walking again. Heading to the next part of the tour.

*Spencer let out a giggle when he told the answer.*
I was thinking something like that.
*She had a big smile on her face. She was glad to be out and about. With a friend.*
Hey Cacen, you said that there was a horse stable. Can you take me to it?
*Spencer loved horses and wanted to meet them. She also wanted to see where Thunder would be staying if she did end up coming here.*

Cacen looked at Spencer. “Really? You were?” He then thought for a second then said. “Ok, tell me how you think about this one. A man walks into a bar and sits down next to a lady and a dog. The man asks, "Does your dog bite?” The lady answers, "Never!" The man reaches out to pet the dog and the dog bites him. The man says, "I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!" The woman replies, "He doesn't. This isn't my dog."
Cacen was going to take her inside, but when she asked to se the stables he nodded. “Of course. There this way.” He started to take here in another direction.

*Spencer gave out a laugh when he told the joke. She thought that it was funny. Her smile only grew once he said that he would take her to the stables. She loved the stables at the ranch. It had a sort of familiar smell about it that made it feel like home.*
Great

It didn’t take long for the two of them to reach the stables. There were about two barns and each of them had about five horses each. There weren’t many horses; that was because not a lot of the students at this school liked to ride. “Well here it is.” Cacen let go of her elbow, letting her go and explore this place on her own. If she did decide she wanted to go here she needed to find things by herself, but he was still there to make sure she got help when she needed it.

*Emidiatly Roxie took control and started to walk around. The two walked up to a beautiful horse and Spencer started to pet it's nose.*
Your well taken care of, aren't you? Dose this one have an owner, it seems like it would.
*She hoped that she could meet other friends, just as nice as Cacen. Not that she didn't think he was a fabulous friend but she would love to make more.*

Cacen was looking at the other horses when she heard him ask about one of the horses. Of course it had to be that horse. The horse she had chosen was Bandit, and Bandit belonged to one of the most temperamental students at this school. He was even more quiet and antisocial then Cacen was, and compared to a lot of the other students Cacen was pretty quiet and antisocial. “Yeah he does. That’s Bandit. He’s Mitsuru’s.”
