The smoke had finally cleared, and what Freya saw… Well she wasn’t too sure what to think! That man was definitely a mutant, that much was obvious. What his power was… She wasn’t exactly positive. He would appear as an… almost ghost like appearance, then solidify, kill someone, evaporate again, solidify… There almost seemed to be a pattern to it all. Either way, he was taking the Terrorists a lot faster than would have been possible for a normal person.
Sometime during his attack, whoever he was, he’d become the prime target. Freya wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not. Finally she’d decided to just stand back and watch for a minute. She had to admit, he was affective, not leaving a single person he struck alive. The Terrorists seemed to be turning on themselves, not sure where the ghost like man might appear next, or what he might do. It was then Freya realized something. She had a choice. She could stay, and help take out the rest of the Terrorists and then have to deal with trying to escape the Mall without police seeing her… Or she could just sneak out now, as if she’d never been there to begin with. It wasn’t like anyone even seemed to remember she was there!
Of course… Didn’t that mean it’d be easiest to just end it all now? They weren’t paying her any attention, they wouldn’t expect an attack from her… Freya finally sighed, shaking her head. Curse her sense of justice. Now she had to help kill the rest! They’d killed so many innocent humans…
Freya took a few steps forward, her arms crossed and her head tilted to the side slightly as she watched for yet another moment. Finally, fire erupted around the remaining Terrorists, in a large ring to keep them concentrated in one spot. As long as they didn’t try to escape it didn’t seem like they’d get hurt. Sadly… That wasn’t the case. The spot started to grow hotter and hotter, to the boiling point, as if like an oven…

Johnny didn't play around when fighting, and it showed. Every single time he striked at a person, he didn't wound them or weaken them. Every strike was a lethal blow, and every time he attacked someone he killed them. Efficiancy, precision, he was like the surgeon of combat. He always had been as well. There was never any sparring with him and the styles of combat that he had learned consisted of one thing; striking and killing. The downside to all this was that in combat he was extremely aggressive and lacked any defensive styles.
He had killed several more men before suddenly, flames erupted around the remaining mutants, and they began panicking. Johnny knew going into his human form would hurt him, so he walked through the flames in his phased form, walking straight toward Freya.
"Nice trick..." His voice was different in its phased form, almost echoey, as if being spoken from a long ways away even though he was right beside her. He folded his ghostly arms and turned toward the fire.
Suddenly the fire began to dim, then died altogether. A loud "whooshing" sound filled the room, then died. In the middle of the group of mutants was a man floating about a foot off the ground, obviously a wind manipulator, and he had sucked the oxygen away from the fire long enough to make it die. There were only about four mutants left, but each one looked ready to fight.
The wind mutant pushed his hands forward and a large ball of wind shot at Johnny. When it passed through his ghostly form it scattered the vapor every, then hit the wall behind him and exploded like a cannon had gone off. Johnny "collected" himself and staggered a little. He couldn't be hurt in this form, but wind controlling mutants gave him a real headache. "I hope you're not afraid to kill, love." Johnny said, staring at the group of mutants as they began charging for the two.

Freya actually had a completely bored expression as she kept the fires surrounding the mutants, making it hotter and hotter by the second. She hadn’t really cared, or noticed that the ghost man had also been caught inside the somewhat oven, but nothing had hurt him before. Perhaps the flames and heat would be just as useless. The theory was only proven when the man, still in that ghost like form, stepped out of the flames. “Not a trick.” Trick made her think magician. Magicians were fakes, they played with illusions and slight of hands. Something like that wasn’t a trick.
Okay, maybe she was just being unusually irritable, finding something to annoy her in every single thing that happened. Freya took a deep breath, as if trying to stop this strange mood she was in. It didn’t work all that much…
Then… Her flames died. She had not been the one to do that! It took only a moment to realize what the source was. Great. One of the mutants was able to control the wind. She hated wind manipulators! Downright hated them! They made it impossible to use fire. Still… She wasn’t limited to just fire, after all.
Finally though Freya turned to face the somewhat there man, a scowl on her lips. “Stop calling me that.” The tone she used was dead serious. She’d already had to deal with him saying it several times before, and she really wasn’t in the mood to put up with it any longer.
There weren’t many left, only four in sight. There might have been more, or there might not. She didn’t know, just because she couldn’t see them didn’t mean that there weren’t any others.
Freya already knew who she’d get rid of. The wind controller would have to be the first to go, then whoever was closest to him. Whatever his name was could take care of himself, so she didn’t bother worrying about him as she walked away from him, heading in the direction of the annoying mutant. Who knew instantly she was going after him.
The mutant didn’t seem all that panicked. He knew he could stop her flames. Freya just smirked, fire lacing around her finger tips before leaping out to engulf the man. He just used the same trick as before, sucking up all the air around the flames to extinguish them, but he didn’t stop there, removing the air from around Freya as well to prevent any more fires.
Now, Freya really did rely on oxygen far more then most people, if only because most of her power relied on oxygen. No air meant no fire. Thankfully? Freya knew a way around the weakness. Holding her breath, Freya held out her hand Static building at her fingertips. Half a second of somewhat silence, and suddenly lightning was streaking out to strike the man. He didn’t even have time to shriek, the bolt killing him on contact.

Johnny glanced at Freya as she spoke, "Calling you what?" He asked slightly confused, then it donned on him, love. Apparently it bothered her that he was saying that, though he didn't know what. Honestly he hadn't even started to flirt with her yet, that was just what he called every girl... It was what most of the people he grew up with called a lot of girls.
Though, he would stop for now, but if she was truly Freya then that meant she was the girl who was with Phantom. If that was so, then he would do everything in his power to ensure that before long, Freya would enjoy him calling her love. Just the thoughts about his old partner started to make his blood boil, which was a rare feat considering how calm he always was.
These thoughts had to be swept aside though as the mutants charged them, Freya immediately engaged the wind mutant. Which Johnny was very thankful for and appreciative, he hated wind mutants. They were always the most annoying ones out on the battlefield. Turning his own attention back to the other mutants, he saw two running at Freya while she was attacking.
Without a moments hesitation Johnny began running at the nearest one. The man foolishly took a swing at Johnny, his fist going through his body, then before the man could react Johnny quickly phased into reality and uppercutted one of his blades into the man's jaw. It burst out the top of the man's head and Johnny immediately phased back into his spectral form, causing the man to collapse through Johnny and onto the floor.
Immediately he took a run at the other man, running through the man and phasing into reality behind him. He spun around with his blade and attempted to decapitate him, before his blade could touch him, the man disappeared. Johnny paused for a moment glancing around him, then suddenly he was kicked to the ground. How the hell had he gotten behind him?! The man pulled out a knife and tried to slam it into Johnny as he lay on the ground, but he phased into his spectral form only seconds before it touched him. Jumping to his feet, Johnny spun to the side of the mutant, phased into reality and tried to stab him again. Just before the blade touched the man's ribs he disappeared again, then it occurred to Johnny, he was a teleporter... Great.
The fight continued between he and the teleporter, neither one able to completely hit the other. The big problem though was closer to Freya. After she killed the wind mutant, he collapsed to the ground in a cloud of dust and it appeared as though the only mutant left was the teleporter. Then, several booming footsteps echoed through the mall and through the dust stepped a massive man, well over seven feet. He paused for a moment, staring at Freya, then slammed his finger tips into the ground.
A loud cracking sound, almost like a gunshot, filled the air as he ripped a massive hunk of rock out of the floor. Then tossed it at Freya. Before he could even see whether it hit or not, he began walking toward her slowly. Each footstep making a loud boom as if he weighed several tons.

Freya just shot him an annoyed look when he questioned her comment, before acting as if he wasn’t even there. To make things worse… She was really good at pretending people didn’t exist, and if she couldn’t ignore them? She could always just incinerate them so they literally didn’t exist! It was almost a bad combination, giving someone with Freya’s personality the power to turn a person to ash…
She really was ignoring him, not even seeing that he was taking on the others while she handled the most annoying of the bunch. After all, neither of them could do much unless they got rid of the man.
It was a little too easy to kill the man, but she didn’t think anything of it. People always underestimated her. They always thought she was limited to fire and heat. Who would have guessed that there was much more than that?
Suddenly, Freya just wasn’t in the mood to hang around here much longer. She sighed, running her fingers through her hair, a look of complete boredom on her face. The fighting wasn’t holding her attention at all. And seeing as she’d already killed the ones on her end… It’d be fine to leave, right? The ghost like man could handle himself against the teleporter, he didn’t need her help. And even if he did… Would she have given it to him? Doubtful. She was still miffed about his calling her ‘Love’ so many times.
Booming steps reached her ears. What the hell? Freya slowly glanced over her shoulder, that lazy, bored expression vanishing instantly. Great, another one? This man was different though. Before she could even do anything to take him down, he was hurling a chunk of cement at her. Just perfect. Did everyone know about cement not being affected by fire?
With a sigh, more lightly leaped from her fingertips, striking the cement block in the dead center, completely shattering it. She just stared warily at the man as he stepped closer, her eyes half narrowed.

Johnny and the teleporter had been going at it for several minutes now. So focused on the combat between the two of them that Johnny hadn't even noticed the hulking man moving in to attack Freya. Not like he would have tried to stop him anyways, the woman seemed confident enough to take on the world. What could one man do to stop such a confident person? Confidence was a strength, over-confidence was a bigger weakness than anything.
Over-confidence led to people being underestimated, people being underestimated lead to mistakes, mistakes lead to death. Of course, Johnny couldn't really see her look of boredom to make that assumption, yet, but he had picked up that personality trait from her just by the way she talked. She had a similiar arrogance to Phantom, it seemed that maybe they were perfect for each other.
Honestly, he was far to focused on this teleporter right now. The man was impossible to hit, just like Johnny, and not only that... He was almost starting to when. Johnny came behind the man, about to pierce the back of his skull with his blade when the man disappeared again and reappeared behind Johnny. He slammed a foot into the back of Johnny's leg, causing him to hit his knees, then grabbed his head and slammed it to the ground. Johnny, immediately phased into his spectral form after he hit.
This man actually got a hit in on him... That was, amazing to say the least. People never got hits in on Johnny unless they were very lucky. Spectre was starting to learn something though, the man had a pattern of attacking and teleporting and unless he was mistaken, the man could only teleport a couple feet at a time. That was something that Johnny could use to kill him.....
The titan of a man continued toward Freya, not even blinking over flinching as the boulder he threw exploded in the air. Instead he just walked through the dust and debris the exploded rock caused. Slowly, his fingers and fist seemed to melt together on both arms. Then his massive arms began to lengthen, and at the tip of each arm the skin tone color seemed to melt away into a metal color. Then his arms seemed to each form into massive blades, looking as if giant scalpels were attached to each arm.
Then he began quickening his pace, the booming from his feet quickening as well. It was probably starting to become obvious now that whatever this guy was, he was NOT made out of flesh and blood. Holding one bladed arm forward, and the other held high with the tip pointed toward Freya's face, he began running at her. The expression on his face never changing with it's constant blank stare, but in his eyes you could see he wanted only one thing; her blood.

Freya did suffer from being overconfident. It was one of her biggest flaws. What made it worse… She couldn’t stop it. Whenever she got bored enough it just happened. Sometimes she got so bored she would actually walk out of a fight! It hadn’t happened in a while, but she was near that point. If only this new threat would let her leave. She no longer had any interest in fighting. And when that happened… She was known for making some pretty fatal mistakes.
Freya was twirling her fingers in her hair, just watching the approaching man with that bored expression again. Why couldn’t he go after the ghost man? It was obvious she no longer had any interest in what was going on… Wasn’t it?
She just sighed, untangling her fingers he grew closer, with a bloodthirsty look in his eyes. Suddenly though, his arms were changing in to what were some sort of blades, and it was clear then that he wasn’t flesh and blood. Whatever this guy’s body was made out of… Well it wasn’t something she could do much against. It was usually rocks and metals that made that much noise.
When the man was close enough fire wrapped around her body tightly, sending her flying backwards at a much faster speed then he was moving. Some of the flames broke off, racing to engulf the man. Hopefully whatever he was made of would be affected by it…

The fight for Johnny had moved away from Freya now. The teleporter and Johnny had begun moving down the mall, and eventually into one of the stores. Needless to say, the store was being torn apart by the fight, neither one still able to gain a hit on the other. It was becoming apparent to John that the only way he was going to win this fight was by complete and total surprise, catching the teleporter off guard, then ramming his blade through him.
However, the problem was surprising the man. It was as if they both knew what the other person was going to do, and were actually fighting several steps ahead of the actual fight. It was a mind game as much as a physical fight. Sooner or later though someone was going to snap, someone was going to make a mistake, and someone was going to get killed. Johnny knew for certain though, that it wasn't going to be him.
On the opposite side of the mall, the massive beast of a man continue chasing Freya. A bit surprised when she started to run away from him, but not completely. Everybody ran from him, but you could only run so long before he caught you. As she flew backwards he extended the blades on his arms further and further, now the only way she could fly was backwards. If she tried to fly around him she would be cut down and if she tried to fly over him she would be cut down.
Then, she started throwing large fireballs at the beast. The first one hit and exploded over him, but it didn't even make him blink or slow him down. On the contrary, he seemed to start running even faster. Then another hit, and another, none of them so much as singing a hair or even burning his clothing; which was very odd.
Why did the man simply take this punishment and continue running at her? Because, what she couldn't see from flying backwards was that she was about to hit a wall. She was backing herself into a corner. The cat was about to catch the mouse.

Freya had long since lost sight of the other fight. They'd run off somewhere, and since neither were back... It seemed their brawl was still going. She couldn't even hear the destruction from their fight over the thundering footsteps of the man chasing after her.
This man... Whatever he was, was relentless. No matter how many times he got hit he just seemed to take it in stride, not even slowing an inch. Now that was annoying. All she could do really, was keep running. What was he made of? Why couldn't she answer that one question?
Fire wasn't working, that was obvious. She was just wasting energy flinging the fireballs at him. His exterior was just to hard to be affected.... But what about his insides? She had no idea, she'd never heated the insides of someone made of something other then flesh. What if their power affected their organs as well? If it did, this would be another waste of time! But there was always the chance it didn't...
Freya ceased fire, instead, reaching out to heat the interior of the man's body, hoping to make him drop in a fraction of a second. She wasn't wasting time like she had before, letting him suffer. If she didn't kill him now, he'd just keep coming.
Something hard hit her back, so hard she just about knocked the breath out of herself. What the hell? Turning her head just enough to look, she cursed. Why hadn't she been paying attention at all? She'd backed up into a corner! And the only way out... Was threw the somewhat indestructible man.

It was starting to become very apparent, there was only going to be one way to beat this guy. That was for him to get him to stop teleporting, and the only way he could do that was if he stopped phasing out of reality and let the guy hit him. This was an incredibly risky move because this man was obviously skilled in fighting and when Johnny wasn't in his spectral form he could be killed.
However, this was a fight to the death and the only way to win was to take a chance in killing yourself. That was exactly what he was going to have to do. Because if he stopped phasing, the man would stop teleporting to get a good stab in on him and after all, it's like they say; no pain no gain right?
So, phasing into reality he simply stood there and waited for the man to teleport somewhere near him. Soon enough he did, and Johnny tried to cut him, only for the man to disappear again. This continued for several more minutes, however, the frequency of the man teleporting were starting to reduce and he was actually starting to stand and fight... Big mistake.
~
On the far side of the mall, the titan still continued his charge for Freya. Nothing stopping him and nothing slowing him down. Then suddenly, she stopped throwing fireballs and started trying to burn him from the inside out. The beast felt no pain, but he did start to slow down a little and started acting a little funny.
Just as he really started to slow down though, it stopped. Immediately the man picked up speed and started charging her again, now it would be even easier as she had almost knocked herself out with how hard she hit the wall.
As soon as the man was close enough, he lunged forward with a bladed arm and tried to pierce her through her head. The other arm he kept ready to swing just in case she tried to fly away if he missed, that way he could kill her for running.

When the man started to slow, Freya's hopes rose. Maybe.... Maybe it was working. She wasn't sure. Most people fell over when she roasted them, and seeing as how quickly she was trying to roast this guy... Well he should be dead! What the hell was this guy made of?! Whatever it was.. It was really starting to irritate her. To make matters worse? When she whacked her head against the wall as hard as she had, the man had actually returned to his previous speed!
Okay, things were starting to look pretty bad for Freya. No where to run, with a giant of a man charging at her with sword like arms. Not to mention nothing she was doing was actually working on him! What was she supposed to do? Suddenly she had an idea. She carefully reached back to touch the wall. It wasn't cement. Well, if she couldn't go any of the usual ways to escape, why not make her own exit?
She had both hands on the wall now, stopping her attempts to roast the man and instead turning her attention to actually melting the wall. Closer.... Closer... He was within striking range now, and he was intent on killing her right then and there. THankfully? At that moment the wall had weakened enough that she fell backward through the newly made hole. What sort of luck was that? The blade had missed her head by a bare inch!
She'd dropped into one of the stores, that was obvious from all the clothes racks. Freya stumbled backwards, putting distance between herself and the new hole. If she guessed correctly a wall wouldn't stop this man... Best thing to do was get out of there as fast as possible!
