*After dumping Tokra on Demetri, Mitsuru walked to one of his favorite places in the institute, the stables. When he reached the stables he went to one of the back stalls to where a chestnut stallion was kept. He hooked up the bridel and led the horse outside and tied him to a tree. He then went back inside to grab a brush. When he retreived the brush he was looking for he walked back over the stallion and started brushing him in scilence.*

Maru strode silently down the path that led to the stables, taking slow, deep breaths through her mouth. You would have to have extremely sensitive ears to realize that she wasn't just breathing. She was sending silent sonic waves through the air, mapping out the grounds in her mind instead of her eyes, since she was blind. She finally found her way to the stables and leaned against the fence, facing the horses, though her head slightly down. Everyone who was there... well the few people that were there, took a double take at her. The boys because of how strickingly beautiful Maru was before noticing the red X-men symbol tattooed on her shoulder. Everyone knew what it meant. It meant she was a member of Paragon, or the Elite X-men in training. They were the select few who handled the most dangerous missions students could go on, and they all had abilities that were very offensive in a fight.

*Mitsuru just turned his head when he heard someone approaching. When he saw that it was Maru he turned his attention back to brushing Bandit. He could tell that all male attention was on her because of her striking beauty. He didn't know what the big deal about it was. Then again he didn't know very much on the average life of teenagers.*

Maru had never met this new male student, probably since he had arrived during one of the Paragon missions to Russia. Most of their missions were top secret during them, but they could speak of them after. The last particular mission had been a Protection Program. They'd been sent to protect an extremely important human from being killed by rebel mutants. None of Paragon had been killed on the mission, but quite a few of them had been severly injured during it. Maru had been a lucky one and walked away with only a few scars. She had just come from visiting the others in the Infirmary.
She 'watched' the new boy, realizing the horse he was working on wasn't one of the horses the school owned, it's features didn't match any of the others. This was probably his own horse. After a few moments she spoke up, speaking to the new boy. "Your horse is very pretty. What is his name?" Most people would be shocked at how she had known the boy was working with a horse, let alone that the horse was male. Though once you realized her power it made perfect sense. She didn't even have to be facing the object to know what it was exactly.

Bandit *He didn't face her when he answered her in fact he didn't even stop brushing his horse. If it wasn't for the fact that he answered her question it would be like he was compleatly ignoring her. But to anyone who knew Mitsuru or rather knew about him would know that this was just the way Mitsuru acted. He never interacted with people and when he did he was very akward and wanted to get out of there immedestly. The only topic that lasted more the five seconds when talking to him was Bandit.*

Maru smiled slightly, though everyone knew it wasn't a true smile. Those were reserved for those she was good friends with, mostly just other Paragons because they had all pretty much grown up together. She kept one hand on the fence as she slowly walked around, following the fence until she reached the gate. Carefully she unclasped the lock, her eyes not watching her fingers work. Entering silently, she closed the gate behind her, the lock making a soft click as it closed. She silently took a few steps forward until she was about five feet away from Mitsuru and his horse Bandit.
With her being so close to the horses, it was obvious that her power dealt with sonic sound, though she used it for echo location. Several of the horse's ear's flickered back and forth, though none seemed uncomfortable with the sound, actually, they seemed to like it. To them it was a very soothing and soft whistle, a pleasant sound to them. One of the mares in the corral trotted over and nugged Maru, who reached out and lightly pet the horse's neck, though her real focus was on Mitsuru. "How old is he?"

About two years old *Mitsuru finally turned around to face Maru. It wasn't notivable yet but he was starting to get a little edgey and wanted to get away from there. Because of his compleate lack of trust in others it made him always want to be by himself. Bandit gently nudge him in the back so he turned back around and started brushing him again*

Maru knew he was growing edgy. It wasn't something a normal mutant would realize, but she would. She didn't rely on sight to catch these things. She used sound and the echo location, which meant she would realize when his pulse quickened or his movements became slightly sharper. With a sighed she turned to 'look' at him, only for his benefit though. People tended to get freaked out of she didn't turn her head towards them when speaking with them. "There's really nothing to get all panicky about, There is still five feet between us, and no one else is with in twenty feet."

*Before Mitsuru could reply a another student answered for him*
Random student: He's always been like that. He's like that with everyone even the professer when he was alive. He never lets anyone near him.
*Mitsuru didn't even seemed phased when the other student said this. He was used to these opinions they were the same at all the schools he had been to in his life and he'd been to a lot of schools. All it really did was strenghin his veiws on not trusting anybody*

Maru's attentioned flickered to the male student who had spoken. Tilting her head to the side slightly, she turned her head to 'gaze' at him. "By ignoring him you only make it worse. But I don't think we were speaking to you."
The air around them seemed to become a little tense, and both the random make student and Mitsuru would vagely hear a soft vibration in their ears. It wasn't exactly a comfortable sensation, but it only lasted a moment. It was Maru's way of telling the student who hadn't been in the conversation that she didn't like him interupting them.

*The random student went back to his horse and friend altough Mitsuru could care less. To him it was just another school and everyone was the same even if this was a mutant school. He was the odd kid the one that never got along with anybody and was always by himself. The professor tried to work with him so that he could start making friends when he noticed that he was "emotonally unstable" but it never seemed to work.* I don't care *That was all he said in response. So what if they ignored him it didn't matter to him. He liked being by himself more anyways.

Maru's blank and blind stare remained looking towards the student for a moment, as if making sure he left, before turning back to to Mitsuru. She gave him a smile, though it was obviously not one of her real ones. "A lot of the students around here have that attitude. Have you met any of them? There's Train who doesn't speak to anyone, ever, except to his girl friend, and Mari who would run away if you spoke to her. You don't stand out to much."

Except for the fact that I tend not to go near anyone ever unless I have to. *He also could point out the facts that unlike Train he had no friends except for Bandit. He never stayed in one place long enough to make one. All but one of the parents of his foster families thinks he's a delinquet with no future and the ones who knew he was a mutant thought he was a monster. In fact he was waiting for the time when he would be pulled out of here.*

Maru shrugged sofly, going back to petting the mare who had nudged her once more, wanting attention. "We all cope in different ways. We're all different after all, it'd be boring if everyone was the same, don't you think?" She smiled to herself, though not a real smile yet. She knew what it was like to just want to give up on people. When you were always looked down on, even by strangers, it would make any child want to go and hide.

*Mitsuru didn't answer. He walked back to the stable and when he came out he was carring a rideing blanket and sadle. He walked past Maru and began applying the ridding equipment to Bandit.*
