*Nelly had been stunned when he handed her a box. She opened it slowely. There lie a diamond ring. She was stunned as those words were spoken by her true love. She was sitting upright when she opened it, her body stiff. Nelly's jaw had dropped and her eyes grew wide. The shock had struck her so hard that some of the wood in the fire dissintegrated, eliminating the firelight.*
*Nelly could not say anything, she was so shocked. She was reverting to her self before she was in control. She knew her answer, it kept running through her head over and over, but she couldn't seem to control her body at all.*

*Conner saw that her power started to get out of control a bit. So he waited silently. Moving, with his power, some more wood to start another fire. They sat in silence, and he would wait for Nelly's answer, he would wait all his life if he had to. But he wanted it, even if it was a 'no' he had to know.*

*Nelly almost fainted because she had almost forgotten how to breathe. As she was about to collapse, she breathed in a giant breath and shouted,*
"YES!"
*She leaned forward and kissed Conner, hard. But then she remembered the ring. She came back out of the kiss and waited. She smiled so big and so hard and was so excited. She could barely keep in her happiness, and the dissintegration completely stopped.*

*Conner was relieved to hear the 'yes' but it came out louder than expected. As she kissed him he also kissed back, he was a little sad when she pulled away.*
Do you want me to put it on you?
*He then got ready for that answer. Conner had a huge smile on his face, he was happy that she said yes, she was the love of his life.*

*She kept her focus on Conner's wondrous eyes, the glow of the fire shining in them.*

*Conner grabed the ring and placed it on Nelly's left ring finger. He smiled and gazed into Nelly's perfect eyes. But then he thought of Kristoph and got a bit worried.*
Is your brother going to kill me?

*Nelly shivered as the ring slid on her finger. But then Conner ruined this perfect moment when she mentioned Kristoph. She took in a breath, about to say something but then thought better of it.*
"I guess he will hear of it eventually. Lets go back to the Hideout and... talk to him about this."

*Conner kissed his beloved, Nelly, and smiled.*
Only if you promis to still love me and mary me, no matter what your brother says.
*He knew that was alot to ask of her but he wanted to make usre that Nelly would still love him, even if he said that she could never see him again.*

*Nelly looked away, contemplating his words. Then she looked back at Conner.*
"The only way I would stop loving you is if you killed Kristoph and I don't think you will ever do that."
*She smiled and kissed him. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she held him tight. But, she pulled away after a minute or two, stood, and grasped his arm and starte pulling him up.*
"Lets go tell him. I wanna know as soon as possible what he... is going to do."

*Conner smiled, he was happy at what Nelly told him.*
Alright, let's first pack then we can go.
*He then started to use his power and have everything go into the bags and once everything was cleaned up he grabed the bags and put out the fire.*

*They arrived to the Hideout about an hour later. Nelly let Conner open the door for her and smiled as she walked in. She kept her hand in her pocket, so no one around would notice the ring. She wanted Kristoph to be the first to know. So, she headed to his room. She knocked, no responce, and opened the door. No Kristoph. She looked at Conner with a puzzled look and headed down the hallway. She got to the tv room where she saw him on the couch, eating a tv dinner, watching the military channel. She smiled, but then had second thoughts. She backed into Conner too fast and they fell backwards, her landing on Conner. This made him make a sound as she landed on him and she gave a yelp as she fell on him. This, obviously, made Kristoph stand up and look over at them. He rolled his eyes and went back to watching his show.*
*Nelly apologized to Conner, stood, and walked in front of the tv, holding Conners hand. She took the remote from Kristoph and turned the tv off.*
"We have something to tell you."
*She was about to announce the news to Kristoph when he stood.*

*Kristoph stood, held out his hand, stopping Nelly. He reached for her left hand, pulled it out of her pocket, and looked at the ring.*
"Finally, Conner. I was wondering when you would step up. But isn't this a little small for the love of your life?"
*Nelly gasped and stomped on Kristoph's foot. He fell back on the couch and grabbed his crunched foot.*
[green]It's plenty big, jerk. ...But, wait, you... aprove?[/green]
"Of course, Nelly. If you love him enough to accept that tiny thing, then yes, you can go run off somewhere and get hitched. But you need to be back eventually to aid in the fight."
*Kristoph rubbed his foot as he reached for the remote and turned the tv back on. A big boom from the tv sounded as a nuke went off, and he took his dinner in his lap again and started eating once more.*

*Conner was fine with Nelly falling on him, but then she got up and they moved infront of the TV. ((yada yada yada.....you know the story))*
*When Kristoph reacted the way he did Conner was suprised. He didn't know what to think for a wile. But then he smiled, he had been worried about nothing.*
But I thought you didn't like me...
*It was true....Conner was thinking back on the first time him and Nelly had kissed.*

"Yes, when you kiss my little sister who cannot control her feelings let alone power, I want to kill you. But now that you are going to be married and I'm quite sure I will not be able to change Nelly's mind, I'm a big boy and will get over it. Besides, now I have a little brother to torture."
*Kristoph said this all without looking at him, continuing to eat his dinner and watch the tv. But, he did smile as he said this.*

*Nelly rolled her eyes as Kristoph yammered on. She waited patiently as he finished. Then, she grabbed Conner's hand and pulled him out. They went and told everyone in the Hideout, letting whoever wanted to help with the wedding. Which reminded her...*
"Uh, Conner, we need to go talk about the wedding. Lets go... on the roof! I haven't been up there... ever... We can make plans about stuff like when, what colors, where, oh, and the honeymoon...."
*A giant grin plastered her face as she pulled Conner away. She stopped by her room and grabbed a notebook and pen, then pulled him up to the roof.*
