*The motorcycle sped on through the darkness. Cold wind whipped into Blackbriar's face as he sped through the night with Rose holding on tightly behind him. He noticed Rose's condition getting worse as they traveled. The hypnosis didn't help the fact that she needed medical attention. It only took away the pain...but soon the hypnosis wasn't going to be enough. Black needed to find Aaron and quickly.*

At first, Rose hadn't noticed her condition getting worse. Though when she started to feel all of her energy draining, she realized something must be wrong. It probably didn't help that most of her body had almost been crushed by cement wrapped around her for several hours. Rose soon found it getting more and more difficult to stay consious. It was very much like being under extremely powerful knock out pills. Her arms around Blackbriar's waist were slowly growing weaker, becoming more and more difficult to hang on.
"I can't hang on anymore..."
Rose's arms pretty much became useless as she slipped off the motorcyle, unable to stay on. A Force field tried to cushion her fall, though it shattered when she hit the snow, her mind not able to maintain the barrier.

*Blackbriar felt Rose's arms slid away and felt her fall off.*
No!
*He then swiveled around and screeched to a stop. He quickly jumped off and ran over to where Rose fell.*
Rose! Rose!!
*Black maintained the hypnosis but it was clear that Rose needed medical attention now. But they were in the middle of nowhere and he started to panic a little. But he remembered his promise to Sky, so with conviction, he picked up Rose and went back to his motorcycle. Black set her on the seat with her in front and he kick-started the vehicle and kept speeding on.*
We're almost there Rose!

Rose's breathing was slow, very much like she was asleep. At first she didn't stir when she heard Blackbriar near, though when she felt someone pick her up, her eyes slowly flickered open, taking a moment to focus enough to see Blackbriar.
"So tired... Where are we going...?"

*Blackbriar heard Rose whispering and kept his eyes on the road.*
We're going to see a doctor...a mutant who has healing powers. I can see his house now.
*Black saw a house in the distance and accelerated. They finally reached the front of the house and he didn't bother to park in a decent place. He screeched to a stop and swiftly lifted Rose off, running to the front door. Blackbriar burst in and called for Aaron. He was certain he was here...why else would the lights be on?*

What in the bloody blazes...?!
*Aaron was groggy as he descended the stairs and he saw his old friend Ian in his living room, holding a girl who was obviously injured.*
What's going on here Ian?? What happened?!
*He ran to him and checked the girl. She was in critical condition...and dying. But Aaron wasted no time. He lifted her out of Ian's arms and ran her to his medical room.*

"Oh... Okay..."
Rose seemed to go back to sleep, her eyes fluttering closed once more, and become unresponsive to everything around her. She didn't even stir when she was lifted into some else's arms. If Aaron looked, he would realize she had no external wounds what so ever except for some bruising. Which her insides looked like they had been crushed for quite some time. The damage was horrible. It was killing her, slowly but surely. It was a good thing she was under Blackbriar's hypnotism, otherwise she wouldn't have been consious even once.

This girl is Rose. She's a mutant too, and she tried to fight against another mutant in New York City and...she apparently was crushed by cement. But that's all I know. I needed to get her to you as quickly as I could.

*Aaron laid her carefully on the table and examined her. He noticed the bruises on her body and listened intently to Ian's explanation of what happened. Aaron discovered that she had mass internal bleeding and he knew that if she was taken to a human doctor, Rose wouldn't have been saved. But he started healing her internal wounds and while he did so, the extent was far more than he thought. Yes, Rose would heal, but it would take several days, even with him healing her. Aaron's eyes widened incredulously when he heard that Ian needed to bring Rose to him from New York. He then turned his head toward him with an accusing look in his eyes.*
You traveled with her?! IN THIS CONDITION?!! Are you daft, man?! She could've died!!
*Aaron continued healing Rose with all his power, but he smacked Ian over the head.*

Rose seemed to be in a deep sleep, no dreams or anything. Just... empty space. She could hear what was going on around her quite clearing, though she couldn't break out of the darkness that was sleep. Finally, when she heard the twack that was Aaron hitting Blackbriar, she stirred.
"Don't be mad at him..."

*Blackbriar recoiled at the venom in Aaron's voice and didn't dodge his hand when he smacked him over the head. He gave a soft sigh and looked at him with ashamed eyes.*
Sorry...
*He then thought of his sister, Ariel. She was the only one in his family that refused their way of life and escaped the Nightmares to Canada. There she lived ever since. Blackbriar visited her sometimes, but had been at least four years since his last visit. That was when he met Aaron. Aaron was dating Ariel at the time and disapproved of Blackbriar being part of the Nightmares but didn't judge him for it.*
How's Ariel doing, Aaron?

It'll be all right, Rose.
*He then heard Ian mention Ariel and he cringed when he asked him. Aaron sighed and kept his focus on healing Rose when he started talking to Ian.*
Ariel...and I aren't...on good terms anymore. She left a couple of months ago.
*Aaron hated this subject. He was engaged to Ariel and she broke it off after she learned of his relationship with Nessa. Yeah, he loved Nessa more, but it still broke his heart to speak about Ariel. And now he wasn't sure where Nessa was anymore.*

Rose remained silent for a moment, almost fading back into her deep sleep, when she remembered what she'd promised her sister. She forced herself to roll off the medical table she was on, staggering to her feet.
"I don't have time.... for this.... I need to get stronger.... So I can help my sister...."
She staggers slightly, before slidding onto the ground, unable to support her own weight.

What are you doing?! Are you daft, girl?! You need at least two days before you're better!!
*Aaron literally roared at Rose. He quickly grabbed a syringe nearby that was full of morphine and stabbed it in her arm. He then stared at Ian and talked to him with raging curiosity in his voice.*
Why in bloody blazes isn't she in pain?! The morphine should knock her out. Is it one of your hypnosis things, Ian??

*Blackbriar started worry when Rose rolled off the table. He stopped her just in time before she got anywhere.*
Rose! You can get stronger when you get better! And don't worry about Sky. She can take care of herself.
*He then looked at Aaron in bewilderment when he stabbed her with a needle. When he asked him why Rose wasn't in pain, he just shrugged.*
Yeah, I put her under my hypnosis so that she wouldn't be in pain. I couldn't travel with her in pain, now could I?
